Came here with my sister for pedicures. My nail tech was very nice however my sisters was awful. She was rude to my sister many times when she would damand things like " bend your knee". She then got very angry at my sister when she accidentally smudged her nail polish. Then when it came time to dry our nails my nail tech helped me carry my stuff to the dryer... my sisters did not. My nail tech told me $28 if I paid cash. My sisters nail tech told her $30. Then my nail tech gave a massage while my nails were drying... and so did the other nail tech to their clients. But not my sisters. We will never come back here. They also cut my cuticles, and did not scrub my callouses. Go elsewhere Read Less

I walked in three steps behind a wedding party and I had my concerns that they wouldn't be able to take me. But they did. Everytime I've been here they were very accommodating. Maria did an amazing job on my nails. I got a gel manicure. Also, I made an appt. for a Sat. @ 3 and was taken right away. As I got my nails painted, I relaxed with a delicious mamosa. The technician did a nice job on my manicure but from a business perspective, there are a couple concerns. They state the price of a manicure is $14, but that is actually the cash price. They also don't accept tips on credit cards. I actually paid in cash and when I asked the technician to break a 20, she gave me back a $5 and a $1 so that I would have to tip the $5 (which was my plan anyway, but the customer should have the choice). Bottom line: Bring cash. The other thing they advertise is that they provide customers with complimentary drinks, which they did not. I would recommend trying other local nail salons. Read Less

Stuck up, Very rude and openly harass clients for higher tips!! They over charge and do a crappy job! I sent family there although I've only been once. I wasn't impressed at all and the lady cut me. But it was close so I suggested the nail salon. I sent five ladies to them, each spent a good amount of money. They all tipped over %20!!! Yet they were still harassed all the way to their car about giving them a higher tip! They were asked while paying and someone followed them to their car!!! This is the third time I've heard something similar to this happening. So  I decided to call and ask about the policy on tipping.  Not only was she clear and rude... she said she is the manager and the ladies are allowed to ask and follow people to the car to ask for higher tips. I asked to speak with owner she said she that it is policy and she does the same thing. I hate bad tippers and always make sure myself and people with me tip well. So bad that I made a Yelp account.I decided to try a new salon close to home, but had a very unfortunate experience. Three days ago, I made an appointment for a manicure at 2:30pm today, and arrived at 2:25pm. There was no one working the front desk, so one of the technicians told me to pick a polish and wait. After this, I sat down on the bench in the waiting area and waited for 25 minutes. Another woman walked in at that time, 2:50pm, told a technician she was early for her appointment (I assume 3pm) and was sat immediately for her manicure. I put my polish on the counter and left. Coco Blue is not worth your time. I can't comment on the quality of their work, but they should consider improving their customer service to retain business. Read Less

My experience at Coco Blue was disappointing. My friend had made us appointments on Friday night for Sunday morning for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. We arrived on time, and were put in pedicure chairs. I then sat and waited for 30 minutes for someone to come over and start my pedicure, while my friend was almost done hers. It was frustrating to watch walk ins be taken instead of starting my appointment. My gel manicure actually looks very good, but then when I went to pay it was $70. Its more expensive then getting your nails done in Center City. There was no compensation for starting me 35 minutes after my appointment time, and then also making my friend wait an additional 20 minutes for me to be done. I just left the salon and am not going back. I called today, b/c it is Saturday and made an appointment for mani/pedi/wax. I arrived on time and was told to wait. They take all the walk ins and make the appointments wait! My pedi tub water was chilly, just like the last time I was here. I had to ask twice to have warmer water put in. They let all the mani tables get filled with walk ins so I had to have a mani at the pedicure station and it was not a complete manicure. I was told to go dry my nails and I would get my wax as soon as someone was free. An HOUR later, my nails and toes were dry and I asked the owner if I could please finish. At this point, I had my feet on the top of the pedi drying station and was removing the toe separators, which no one did for me. She snapped, "Soon. Get your feet off there." I got up, paid, handed back my salon card and left. Oh I forgot to mention they make you pay more if you use a credit card and will not let you put your tip on it. A manicure is $15. A pedicure is $30. That's expensive, with tipping. Oh & I was told as I was paying that they were ready for my wax. No thanks. Read Less

Went in for acrylic refill on Tuesday and was told no, we don't do that. Beg to differ...but your sign, pamphlet and website say you do. Only 2 stars for false advertising. I have been there in the past for a pedicure and gel manicure and they did a really great job. They are pricy, and expect to spend a long time there. I will never being going back.  For years, this was one of my go to places but not anymore.  Despite not being terribly busy, the service was rushed and not very good.  The service tech barely massaged my legs (you couldn't really even call it a massage, it was simply putting moisturizer on) and barely attempted to get the callouses off of my heels.  At the end of my pedicure, some debris got into one of my freshly painted toes and the service tech seemed barely interested in fixing it, picking it off and then glopping more polish on top, no top coat.  The pedicure looks like something I could have done at home.  To top it off, when I was finished, before I even got to the dryer I was told I have to pay now because another customer came in the door...he was attended to first before they would take my payment.  I realize these are all first world problems but the lack of service was so stunning it prompted me to write this review.  Go someplace else...this place is not worth it. So disappointed in recent service. I was the second or third customer at their conshohocken location. I got an amazing pedicure and proceeded to rave about them for a few years. However as they got busier the quality has gone way down. Pedis are always rushed even on weekdays. Today I called and made an appointment for 5:30. I got here at 5:29. I'm getting polished now. They were so rushed they didn't even put and foot down in he bowl. Not that it mattered. My feet were in it al of 2 minutes. I'm going to go elsewhere for a while. Read Less

The nail techs do a good job but the employees/owners let some shady character hang around the entire time I was there for a pedicure. He was creepily chatting up the employees and customers and drinking the free (for customers, I'm assuming) champagne. He had at least two glasses while I was there, walking around the salon drinking it, even going outside on the front porch to drink like it was a restaurant. I mentioned twice to my nail tech that he was creepy and someone should make him leave but nothing happened. You know how you just get a bad vibe? Yeah, it was that. I called 24 hours ahead of time to schedule a gel mani and pedi for myself and a pedi for a friend. When we showed up they did not know my friend was coming therefore could not accommodate us together. I knew it would be expensive as I had look up their prices but expected they'd do a great job for that price. We were not offered drinks though everyone around us was. While one woman worked on my pedicure another began filing my nails. She left after 4 fingers and never returned. It appeared the staff were all in a hurry to be out the door by 7pm and rushed their job as a result. My manicure was not well done as the paint did not reach my cuticles. I was also bleeding from one cuticle being cut. Overall $65 seemed steep for poor service. I will not be coming back. Read Less

Overpriced for the service. I took my sister and a friend for the $40 pedicure which is supposed to include $10 for a foot massage. The massage was absolutely not worth it and my nail tech was a very unhappy woman which did not help the experience. She didn't scrub the bottom of my feet well which was 1/2 the reason I went to gets. The service here is great! They are really nice and very attentive when providing great pedicures. However, if you come here, expect to be shaken down for money, and told by the receptionist how much you should be tipping. My friend and I came in, had a great time, and upon leaving, were asked if we needed to have change made for our tips. I gave her a twenty for both of us, and told her how much to give me back. The receptionist proceeded to tell me that I wasn't tipping enough, and then told me how much I should be giving. I then informed her that tips were not mandatory, and were up to my discretion. She continued to argue with me about how much I should be tipping, so after listening to her arguing with me for about five minutes, I asked for my $20 back and left the establishment immediately. I will not be returning here again, because I am infuriated that the receptionist, who had absolutely no part in my service whatsoever, tried to dictate how much VOLUNTARY tip I should be giving. My experience was coco blue was just okay. I was not offered any drinks or even greeted when I walked through the door just a "what can I do for you today?"  I got a pedicure with the nice selection of hello kitty nail polish (which I will say I was excited to see). The place was very clean and beautifully decorated. Pedicure was okay, I thought it was a little short, but I'll take it. I wanted to get a manicure too but they claimed they don't do arylic? Although not to be rude it does say on their site they do arylic, which is the whole reason I chose this place. Really great place! I  went in without an apt on Friday afternoon and was seen almost immediately. There is a fridge with drinks when you come in, but I was not offered a drink (I assume mainly because I was getting a mani, not a pedi). I did see some people drinking the buzzed about mimosas in their pedi chairs though! They had an awesome selection of polish. I hate when cheap salons use off brands, but this place had all opi and a selections of opi, Gelish and shellac for gel. I had Kay and she was wonderful. She paid close attention to detail, always wiping away any polish that got on my skin (not much anyway). For all the cleanliness freaks out there, I did see all the techs thoroughly scrub their tools with antiseptic and place them back into the sterilizer machines. I admit, $45 for a French gel mani is a bit steep-- but I did get an excellent mani that took about 40 minutes. While I was drying my top coat she gave me a nice shoulder massage for 2 minutes. She gave me a nice hand and arm massage with the scented lotion and even finished by putting some drops of lemon essential oil on my wrists. A nice touch, but if I could spend a few bucks less, I wouldn't miss the massage and oil. I will be back here again, but on days I'm feeling cheap I'll probably go to the little place two houses to the right that was advertising $20 gel manis! Read Less

This place was great! Very clean, tons of polish options and they gave me a neck massage while my nails dried. It's also right next to an ice cream place so basically it's a dream come true for me. The quality of my manicure was on par with what I'd expect from a salon, so no surprises there. HOWEVER, I did have a mini panic attack when the lady doing my nails asked if I wanted my cuticles cut vs. pushed back. Obviously I told her to push them back, but when she asked if she could cut them a second time after she had already pushed my cuticles back, I realized she meant she just wanted to trim up the parts that were hanging at the base of my nail. It's worth noting that I'm a total but about that kind of stuff, but it was fine bc this lady knew what she was doing. One more thing is that the parking lot is a bit small and it's in kind of an odd location off Butler, but nothing you can do about that--also definitely not the end of the world. Had a great experience here. My sister and I received massages on a Friday and it was super easy to make the reservation. They accommodated us so we were able to get massages in the same room at the same time. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by all the employees. They were all super sweet. They offered us soda, water, snacks and mimosas. Yum!!!!! We both received the "special" massage. It was 60 minutes for $95.00. We received a Swedish massage with hot towels and hot rocks. It's very popular among the regular customers that come there. Loved the hot rocks! It was both our first experience with it. I will definitely be back whether I get another massage of mani/pedi. I was very impressed with the service here! They give you a lot of options, like if its okay to do your mani at the same time as your pedi. I never felt uncomfortable, which is a great change to when I typically get my nails done! They offer drinks and a wide array of services. You get a loyalty card - 2 stamps per pedi and one stamp per mani, reach 20 stamps and you get a $15 credit! I choose to get the regular pedi ($30) and it was very well done, includes massage and hot stone application as well! I also got a regular mani ($15), so the services are competitively priced for the area and for what you get. It is extremely clean and the staff are wonderful! I will definitely be back. Doesn't hurt that its only 2 miles from my house!!*Update*The clear coat started peeling off within 2 days, but left the color still on my nails... I've never seen that happen. I had gelish manicure and pedicure. I read the reviews before so I ordered a mimosa and enjoyed more the manicure than the regular pedicure, which it was just OK. They have a lot of brands and color gel options and the girl that received me friendly without an appointment helped me to choose my polish. During my manicure I received a relaxing massage in my back and also in my hands, so it's a good place to be pampered.I enjoyed my visit but it was a little bit overpriced, I payed $80 ($30 for pedicure and the rest for gel off ($5) and French design gel manicure) :( You can receive a $2 discount if paying in cash and receive a loyalty card where you can get a free manicure for some points. What an adorable and welcoming place!  I visited Coco Blue for the first time on Sunday and had a great experience.  The women who work there are so nice and they took my friend and I right away without any appointments.  We were offered mimosas, coffee, tea, soda, or water as soon as we sat down.  The place is SUPER clean and very updated.  I only got a manicure, but the pedicure stations looked really nice.  I'm excited to come back closer to spring to get one.  I ended up getting a Vinylux mani which is not the gel mani, but lasts almost as long.  You don't have to put your hands under the UV lamps which is why I got it.  A regular manicure is $15 and the one I got was $20.  The only thing I'm sad about is that I did not know this place existed earlier!  You get a "frequent buyer" card when you go and after 20 visits, you receive a free mani.  Very excited to go back as soon as my nails begin to chip! Two tips:1. They do not accept tips on credit cards so make sure to bring cash with you as well. 2. If you pay for your entire manicure (again, I only got a manicure so I'm not sure on the pedi) with cash, you get a dollar off. Read Less
