My experience here was horrible, to say the least. I went in for a simple gel change, thinking this would be a quick in-and-out; waited 45 minutes with acetone alum on my nails and when I finally had to ask them a few times to remove (since the paper was already falling off at that point) someone came and took off the gel not even using the proper products. To be precise, she used a fake nail to scratch off the remaining gel on my fingers and actually ended up cutting my one nail in half, horizontally and I know you can imagine how painful that was!. I was so frustrated at that point that I didn't even want her to paint my nails, just wanted to gel off so that I could leave with at least my bare nails I could paint at home. To top things off, she asked me to pay for the gel removal and manicure. Ridiculous. I understand if it was a bad day for them but this experience was unprofessional all around and I would never go back. I highly advise anyone in the area to just drive a couple more mins up the street to the Nail Bar where they are truly professionals and would never allow something like this to take place! I love Top nails in broomall. They owner Son and his wife are awesome. Always great results, they are so nice to me and my daughter and always make you feel like family/ friends and their customer care is simply amazing. Best place in broomall. Disappointed. Picked this place based on good reviews from regulars but I didn't have the experience they had. I've been getting Mani- pedi's for 20 years so I know how this should be. The Massage chairs are old and inconsistent. I've noticed this mentioned in other reviews. Mine stopped working twice. I mentioned that it didn't seem to be working and I was not offered any assistance in getting it restarted. Perhaps because it means they know that there are issues?Having a properly working massage chair while you're getting a pedicure is not a luxury anymore - it's something that's expected so when It didn't happen, I was majorly disappointed. Also,When I first tried to enter into the massage Chair, I couldn't find a way to lift the arm to get in safely and gracefully.I was offered no assistance in opening it up so that I could get into it. I'm not old and I don't have troubles getting in and out of massage chairs but when the arm won't go up that's a problem. The technician was sitting in the chair on the floor in front of me so she saw how hard it was to get in to but did nothing. Couple of other negatives: The technician was incredibly rough on my feet. While using the motorized buffer she kept pounding it into my feet which was uncomfortable. During the manual buffing process she used an incredibly small piece of buffer pad- a sliver really. Since It wasn't a full-size type buffer That is normally used at other salons, I believe that hindered her ability to hold onto it which made her have to be do my feet incredibly fast. As she was doing this she was hurting me because it was so fast and I had to ask her twice to stop. She hit the soft spot on the top of the foot a couple times and in between the toes a couple times and It really hurt. She heard "ouch" once and " wow that hurt" a second time. By this time she was already done so it didn't matter.Next, I was a  surprised that she got the hot stones out as far in advance as she did but I thought maybe she knew something about the particular composition of the stones that maybe they needed to cool longer?No!  By the time she applied the hot stones to the legs they were neither hot nor even warm. That was disappointing but what came next was even worse. She applied the same speed and pressure with the room temperature stones on my feet , toes, ankles and shins and a few time she hit the bones and it hurt. I've never had a pedicure that was so UN- relaxing. The manicure wasn't good. See pics. The neck and shoulder massage was nice. I inquired of my companion who sat next to me getting the same service simultaneously and she did not have a bad experience like I but she noted she saw what occurred with me. She reported to me that although she felt she had a better service she didn't think it was any better than any other service she had locally so she won't be coming back. Same for me. Read Less

I love this place! They do an amazing job with their gel manicures and pedicures. I love the hot stone massages and is at a reasonable price. All the employees are friendly and attentive. My mom loved her Spa Pedicure with special scrubs and aromatherapy oil. Definitely best one in the area! Read Less

I love this place, everyone is very nice and they do an amazing job! Their pedicures includes hot stones and a hot towel! :) They also have many scrubs for their spa pedicures. I am very picky with my nails but they always do a great job with the my gel manicures. The polish always last more than 10 days and I am very very rough with my hands! Usually other locations only last me 4 days. The price is reasonal and the quality of their work is superb! I love this place! Read Less

Visited this salon after having made an appointment and was immediately disappointed. I was told to have a seat so I would be helped soon, but I sat with my nail color choice in hand for 30 minutes before someone even came around to take off my old gel polish. Finally after the foil was on my fingers, it took another 25 minutes before someone came to take the polish itself off. They were not equipped with the proper tools and tried to use a fake nail to scrape it off. When I expressed my frustrations, they made no effort to apologize and instead made excuses and told me to make an appointment next time... which I had done. I went to Top Nail Salon and Spa today. I couldn't be more happier with everything about this salon. It's very clean also everyone is very friendly and welcoming. They did an excellent job on my pedicure and my nails. I got a full set of coffin shaped nails. They told me about Dip Powder Nails at first I wasn't going to do it but, then I decided to. I loved the way this was done. So much faster then getting acrylic. It doesn't smell. Also, my fingers don't feel beat up like they usually would. They look fabulous. I used to go to South Philly from Newtown Square to get my nails done because it's seemed no one was doing stiletto and coffin shapes with different designs around here. Excellent job ! I did the SNS technique (deep and powder) and it looks great !!! First time I did that and I'm French, i wasn't sure of what technique I wanted and they took time to listen to me, I show pictures of what I wanted and I'm not disappointed at all! I walked in on 7/8/17, which was a Saturday, around 11:00am. Everyone was busy with a client so I asked if they could accommodate a walk-in. They said yes and I only had to wait about as long as it took for me to pick out my color (so maybe 10 minutes?). Everyone was very kind and professional. The salon itself is very open, bright, and clean.I get acrylics done because I have been a nail-biter for pretty much as long as I've had teeth and nails. The woman who did my manicure--I believe her name was Anna--did such an outstanding job getting them the exact length I needed. I realize it was easier to achieve because she had to put tips on, since it has been some time since my last full set and my bad habits ran their course... But whenever I've told past manicurists to go short, I have to ask them to go even shorter, even saying to go as close to my fingertip as possible. Anna got it right in the first shot, and she took a lot of time making sure each nail was an even length and shape. She also took a lot of care to file the underside to make it smooth, which is another annoyance I've had with past manicuristsAs for my polish, I hadn't realized I picked out a regular polish instead of gel. She asked me if I wanted something else but I really loved the color so I just went with it. When she guided over me to the drying station, I was surprised to receive a short neck and shoulder massage! After about 15 minutes, I was good to go. Another employee checked me out and I was confused when she said $25. Anywhere else I've gone to get a full set, I usually end up paying close to $50 for the acrylic and gel polish. According to their price menu, a refill is only $15. At that rate, I will definitely be back!! Read Less

I wanted to try a new salon in my area.. and i Was very upset after my experince here.. not many selection of colors to choose from, the girl cut ne multiple times and messed up my polish then they over charged me and started yelling at me to look at their price list! I DO NOT recommend this place and will not be going back here and neither will my family or friends. Lesson learned. Read Less

Top Nails & Spa on West Chester Pike was nice enough for the quality of the end result. Ultimately, I am happy with the product, but the experience itself left something to be desired (least of which was time, but that's okay because staff was very nice!). The ambiance is fine for a nail salon. They took care to sterilize supplies and ask about your comfort. I liked this. It took them 30 minutes to get to my pedicure, this started after I was already in the spa chair with my feet in the water- which at that point turned room temp. Okay- poor start, that's fine. The floor was very slippery too, which I can get behind with a warning. Once they started, the pedicure was quick! And the end result was flawless. It was the experience that was poor. The spa chairs are OLD. Old leather and they are cracking. Also- my massager chair remote was all sorts of messed up. The bottoms were worn off completely, and twice it made a long high chirp. The lady told me to bang it hard on the chair to get it to stop. My first bang wasn't hard enough so I had to have a real good go. My manicure was fine. It was quick. No complaints. I even got a nice massage after!  With a little investment in decor, this place can be worthy of 4/5 stars. I feel guilty doing 3, but hopefully it calls attention to timing and ambiance. I went in today as a walk-in for a refill on my acrylics that were in pretty bad shape from the previous salon that put them on about two weeks ago. I wish I caught the woman's name, but she was so friendly, so professional, and so thorough. She fixed all of the mistakes on them, as well as the perfect refill with exactly what I asked for. All said and done, I was in and out in about 45 minutes. Super quick for the amount of work she needed to do! Everyone in the salon is incredibly friendly and they act like you're a regular even though this was my first time here. Complete with the back massage and hot towels too- all for $15, can't beat the quality or the price. Will DEFINITELY be coming back every time in home in town, I've been looking for a reliable nail place and this is absolutely it! Read Less

This time it was Angela who did a fantastic job! $25 buys you a very thorough pedicure with a warm stone foot massage. As other reviewers commented, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Just got a spa pedicure and it was the best pedicure I've received in my entire life. It was extremely relaxing and the woman who painted my nails was a perfectionist, she did an amazing job!! They use hot stones and warm towels as well as several different exfoliant rubs. They even massaged my back and shoulders and my nails dried. I will never go anywhere else!!!!! Read Less

This place is awesome - it's run by a Husband and Wife team who are there just about every day. The facility is beautifully decorated, spacious and immaculately clean - very pleasant and relaxing environment. I have been extremely pleased by the level of service and attention to detail by all of the associates. Most recently I sought advice from Jennifer, one of the owners about strengthening my nails as the gel manicures weren't as strong as the old fashioned acrylic manicures. She recommended a solution (gel with an acrylic powder dip) with fake tips. My nails look amazing - very natural and I've received multiple compliments in just the last few days. Best of all, they accept competitors coupons. I highly recommend visiting this salon if you're looking for a new salon where you expect individual attention. The pedicures are wonderful also!
