I hate to say avoid this place but their practices are not sanitary.  The dip gel is done by actually inserting your nail into the entire jar.  Just got my dips removed at another salon and there was fungus growing up under 3 of my nails.  I have never had a problem with this before in my life.  Their removal process at Perfect Nails is rough, they definitely grind way too far down, instead of letting them soak longer in the acetone, which has left my natural thin and now brittle a result, I would never come back.  Seriously though on the fungus, do not risk this at a salon that would rather save product than be sanitary. I bought my wife a gift certificate for this salon, and she used half of it. The other half went a couple months past the expiration date. When she called to inquire whether they would still honor it, she was told they would deduct an $11 fee (over 10% of the total original amount). There are no fees listed on the certificate, and they aren't following the state law regarding gift cards. I think someone needs to remind them that the money is not theirs until they provide the service, and if there are fees, they need to be put in writing. If they don't want to honor the gift card, they don't get to keep the money. Will not be going back. I do not recommend this salon. Read Less

My nails have never looked worse. This was my first time getting my nails done at perfect nails, and I couldn't be more disgusted with the result. I asked for coffin shaped nails, and I got pointed. Sammy does my nails and does such an amazing job. My pedicure stays for weeks. She gives an amazing massage and my nails never keep polish but when she did it the polish lasted. Can't wait to go back and try a deluxe pedicure. Todd also has done my daughters nails for prom and they were amazing. We asked him not to use a drill and he nailed it a few years back. So sweet I love it there and my boyfriend comes and they let him sit with me if they have room and they all have fun together while still remaining so professional! Read Less

I had an awful experience here. My old nail salon was becoming too expensive so I decided to give this place a try. The reviews looked good and they had pretty cheap prices for a dip powder service. I will never go back. My experience there was terrible. My nails look terrible. It has been not even 48 hours and my nails are so thin that they cracked. Worst experience ever in a nail salon anywhere. People were rude and the place is a filthy pig sty. No towel on table while doing the nails, dirty containers, and tools - ugh!! Didn't ask what I wanted and tried to give me square nails and got mad when I told her that hasn't what I wanted. Employees talking constantly among themselves in foreign language and laughing. I just moved to close UNLV for my school . I found this nail salon. Come here for first time yesterday to have my nails done. I got an awesome nails design and she took her time and make sure everything looked spot on. She made the right shape for my nails .They have a ton of gel colors. The staff is friendly . They couldn't find the colors I had selected from their option of gel colors, I had to go through about 6 different colors until they could find one they actually had. My Polish has already peeled off or are starting to Peel, and I only got them done 4 days ago. Gel should never Peel that quick. I won't be returning, the people were nice, but my nails are terrible. It sucks when your from out of town visiting family and you come get your nails done and have such a terrible experience. The lady I had did a terrible job, she didn't talk to me the entire time and was completely rude. I ended up shaping them and doing my nails almost myself. That's not even the bad part as I was waiting for my family to finish she was talking about me to another costumer!!! I was looking for a last minute place to get my nails done and I called this place second because my first choice didn't answer their phone...twice. I called to make sure they took walk ins and to ask how much their gel mani's were. $30! That's a great deal especially because after I was done, my total was $30! No hidden charges lol. That might sound strange but if you've ever gone to a new nail salon they always try to overcharge.Emily did my nails and they were perfect. She just got a regular customer ! She's very sweet and careful which I appreciate. The place in general is nice, nothing fancy but it's clean. The utensils looked like I could eat with them honestly. I go to this place to have a fill almost every other week.  I've tried a ton of the places in the Mt. Lebo/Bridgeville and even McMurray areas.  I lot of the others look nicer and are more expensive, but I keep going back to Perfect Nails because they do the best job.  Note that while they take CCs, they won't let you tip on them.  (So annoying, but even La Pomponee does it these days.) This place was great.  I made an appointment the day before and they took me right on time....even though there were people waiting.   My nail artist was very good and sweet.  I had my toes and nails done.  My only complaint was the place could use a good cleaning and my chair had some issues.  The price was really reasonable and the service was great.  I would definitely come back.I am posting some photos of my toes and nails....judge for yourself. I saw the other rave review and was excited to go. I left very "meh" about the place. I just didn't get a great pedi. It looked ok and my guy was nice. But the nails weren't expertly cut so the pedi didn't last as long as a typical well-done one does. I would return in a pinch but my hunt for an inexpensive but nice south hills nail salon continues. This place was great!  My sister made an appointment for us a few days before my wedding.  It was quite busy, but everything seemed to be running efficiently.  I got a pedi, and a set of acrylics.  I brought my own polish and sparkly top coat, which was no problem at all.  Here's what sells me on this place, the service.  The techs were talking to their customers, and kept the side conversations with each other to a minimum.  Also, there was a manager (?) there who greeted every person coming in with a smile.  If you're a regular, my sister said they will let you bring your own tools in and they store them for you in your own box.  This would be great as I'm paranoid about nail infections and always spend a few days after a pedi scrutinizing and obsessing over my toes.  Sadly, I don't live close enough to be a regular, but if I did, I'd definitely would be .
