How is it I go for my eyebrows; I'm the only person that is left to be next and the lady takes the next client that is going to get a full set. Now mind you I already waited 1 hour..so NOW I have to wait another hour or so to get my eyebrows done in between. So OVER the wait of 2 hours for a job that will take 15 minutes. I have been going to Star Nails for over 7 years for eyebrows and sometimes nails. Everytime I go for nails I have to wait at least an hour; but she does amazing eyebrows so I still went for that (the only reason I’m giving two stars). The last couple of times she had been super rude to me for no reason. This time, I went to get my eyebrows waxed and she asked me if I’ve noticed that she’s been rude to me. I said yes. She told me that she’s not happy that I don’t come for my nails anymore and that she’s rude to me because I don’t come for my nails anymore and that she’s not happy with me. The entire time I am being waxed, she was scolding me for not coming for my nails anymore. I have always tipped well, have waited in the non air conditioned salon, have witnessed many arguments between her and customers and have STILL remained a long time customer but this is very UNPROFESSIONAL for a business owner to do. I may not have come for nails as often... but I will not be going back for anything anymore. Read Less

The wait is eternal, the eyebrow lady got mad that I was directing how I wanted my eyebrows done and actually put a little hot wax on my eyelid and ripped it off!! I will never forget what she did! When I said something about it she put me with her worst nail tech in the salon who did a very tacky job. Never ever going here again! I traveled 30mins just to come to this place. Read Less

They are rude, if she could,she would had throwing me with my own hands, if you don’t want to take care of me ask me to go not to sit and get abuse Nina is mean I gave 3 stars because she does good nail most time but after what she did never again I would go there. In the past she came late to my appointment I did not say anything I got late to my appointment because an accident I had to go a different way that am not familiar. I’m a good tipper because I like to be treated good but today’s day people don’t appreciate kindness or don’t know what that is. Read Less

It really is a hit or a miss with Star. I no longer do my actual nails there anymore because the quality and the price do not add up, also many of the nail techs are literally unable to do what you ask them to do and get upset with you, the customer, for asking for it in the first place.Vee is pretty great at waxing eyebrows, when she's in the mood. Sometimes you can clearly tell when she's agitated and rushing through (go in the evenings or early in the morning). Pedicures are always on point, there are 2 younger ladies and an older one who DO AMAZING PEDICURES. I wish they would offer a spa pedicure, I'd definitely pay for that. All in all, if you're local, they aren't the worst but they aren't the best. Read Less

Worst place in Bethlehem to get your nails done! The owner of this nail salon is rude and nasty! If she sees your nails or toes are done else where, right off the back she will deny service and tell you "you can go get your stuff done where you get your nails done". This place is very unprofessional, sloppy and they simply do not care. I highly highly do not recommend. By the way the owners name is Vee. WORST PLACE TO GET SERVICE! Exactly why I stopped getting my nails done after 12 years. I went with my mother to get my eyebrows. The moment I arrived Vee asked where I got my nails done. I told her I went somewhere else. (I stopped getting my nails done there because every time I requested something they told me no. Also, my nails looked like I needed a refill after 3 days.) My mom and I are finally are up for eyebrows. She did my mom first then goes and does someone else's eyebrows. I told her excuse me but I'm next. She had the nerve to tell me "no I'm not doing your eyebrows you can go to where you went for your nails and get your eyebrows done there." Overall, it wasn't the best experience. The staff is friendly. The facility is very clean. Parking is available. They take cash and credit. The man started my nails was rough with me. They have designs available to pick from that they don't really know how to do. A full set of nails took easily two hours without waiting. The nails chipped even with gel on them. Way too pricey. If I didn't mind the length of time, wanted something simple and had money to waste, I would DEFINITELY go there. Otherwise, I'm sorry my business is elsewhere. I wish them all the best. Sadly to say I will never get my nails done at this salon ever again!!! The owner V is rude and nasty to customers. Starting with telephone manners. You call to speak or make appointment. She doesn't have the courtesy to say "Good bye" or "Bye". Simply hangs up!! She talks down to customers even to the ones that are loyal. We all have jobs that can get hectic. That doesn't give you the right to be disrespectful and embarrass customers. You ask her a question and she answers questions walking away from you. She snaps when you request what you want done. Her employees tend to do the same. They nickel and dime every time you get nails done. And the price is never the same even if you get the same job done on your next visit. Honestly, some of their employees do a good job. But in the end they're a plenty of nail salons in the area that do a good job as well. I truly believe in being kind to one another. I visited this nail shop for the first time to get my fingers done with the Gel finish & nail polish.. First when I arrived I told the girl what I wanted and she told me what the price was going to be. After I got half way through my nails, the guy started to add on more money base on what i wanted. The price jump from $60 to $70 with a style to do my gel nails. At this point i was pissed and didn't create a scene because that not what they had told me. I paid my $$ & left. And to top it off I had to go back twice within a week because the gel raised up from the nails to have him redo. OF COURSE FREE OF CHARGE and his attitude was spoken in his language to his co-workers, which I didn't care. I will not be going back to this nail shop ever again. Read Less
