I had just moved to PA and needed a great nail salon. I stumbled on this place by an accident an been here ever since Oct 2015 and never went anywhere else. Jessie and Helen are the best hands down and the only one that does everything for me. I usually get my eyelashes, pedicure and eyebrows waxed. I've been coming here for years! I usually only get a basic manicure for $10. Their manicures actually last more than a day! Anywhere else I goy polish chips within a day or two. For some reason my nail seem to last a solid 5-6 days before even the smallest chips appear. Love it :) Read Less

The people are so sweet there!!!! I couldn't get the name of the lady who did my nails but she was so sweet. We talked about our lives and everything in between while she was doing my nails and I swear we became best friends LOL. My nails have lasted for two weeks now and they did chip a bit but I guess I can blame all the chores I do and all the dishwashing. But they did really well and omg I loved my nails! Reason for being only two stars. I walked in, was greeted right away (which I loved by the way,) asked if they had time for two full sets and one gel manicure. The two full sets were taken care of but my niece whom was getting the gel manicure waited about 30 minutes before she was taken care of. I could have done the gel for her since I have my equipment at home but I wanted her to experience the mail salon. I like my nail but I feel like they could have been better. Some are crooked and some of them seem like there isn't even any acrylic product on it. There isn't much gel colors to choose from which sucks. I had hoped they had DND. So the color selection was a downer for me. They guy rushed through his work and cut my pinky. First niece: She has gotten a full set also. Now I was taken care of before her. She finished at the same time as me which blew my mind. I looked at her nails and they weren't nice. It was terrible to be honest. Her pinky nail is hella crooked so now I have to fix that for her.  Second niece: She was getting a gel manicure. She had to wait at least 30 minutes until someone finally started on her and finished last. It's just a gel manicure. I don't know why it took so long. She complained that her nails somehow ended up uneven. Overall, we are all disappointed. Customer service is great but the rushed work isn't so great. Decided to treat myself to a pedicure by Franklin Mills mall. Pulled up my yelp and found this gem! Hands down the best feeling pedicure ever. Found Hollywood Nails thanks to other Yelpers and wanted to just get a good gel pedicure because I'm super pregnant and don't want to deal with my toes at all. I was able to call and get an appointment after work very easily and get my gel pedi for $30! A total steal. As I arrived in the plaza there was plenty of parking and only a handful of ladies inside so I was seated right away. One of the main reasons I do not like getting my nails done is because of how time consuming it all is! You wait to get them done, you wait for the polish to dry, you wait to pay......I just can't deal with it. THANKFULLY this was NOT the case! I was in and out in about 30 minutes with great looking tootsies. There was no pain in the removal of my cuticles or dead skin. I also was given a sugar scrub on my legs and a hot stone leg massage as part of my pedi! The only reason I do not give this place the full 5 stars is because it does look a bit dated (including the massage pedicure chair that didn't function properly) and many of the nail stations were messy looking. I've been here two other times and will never be back. I've had three gel manicures at this establishment. One time, my gel manicure literally wiped off after I left the salon because it was so sticky even after drying - not supposed to happen to gel. The second time I went, the gel peeled off within 3 days. This last time is more so about the lack of customer service because it's only been 1 day post-manicure. Every color I picked seemed to be dried out or not true to the example and they actually cut me off after 2 minutes of looking at the options. To boot, the owner (I assume) was extremely rude and essentially told me I was talking too much of their time. I actually began going to Hollywood Nails with my mom when they first opened.  Brian is great and has a wonderful staff.  Brian always greets you at the door with a smile.  The salon is very neat and clean.  I have been getting my nails done by Lynn but all of the staff does a great job. Read Less

Very happy with Hollywood! Was in the area and Yelped where I could get a good gel set. They are clean, pleasant and welcomed me warmly. I requested something a bit detailed and specific... and they were happy to accommodate. Exactly what I wanted and then some. They are priced accordingly also. I went here today for the first time, in search of a reasonable nail place by my work.  First, I went to their website and submitted a contact request form asking how much they charged for a pedicure and a gel manicure.  Within 2 hours I received a text message from the gentleman who, I presume owns the place, with the price ($40 for both) and asking me if I'd like to make an appointment, which I did right then and there.  I thought that was very cool in 2016!  Viva La Text message!  It was around 2:30 on a Thursday, and there were only 2 other people in there, so I got taken care of right away.  When I came in and told the gentleman my name, I was very warmly greeted, as he was the one who I had been texting with the night prior.  He seemed very happy to see me, shook my hand, introduced me to the woman who would be helping me, and walked me back down to the pedi. chair where she went to work (on my size 11's, btw, which always makes me feel bad for them!).  The pedicure did not feel rushed, and she was attentive and careful.  She did a very nice job, and the hot stone massage was a perfect finish.  The gel manicure was more of the same, complete with a shoulder massage (complimentary) while I waited for my nails to dry.Overall, especially for the price, I don't think you can really beat this place.  I tipped my attendee $10, so leaving with a gel manicure and a relaxing pedicure for all together $50 is a good afternoon in my book.  The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was because of the dated look and feel of the establishment itself.  Though very clean, the drop ceiling had a few water spots, a few tiles that could use a replacing, and a chair or two had a rip in the leather.  Again, the cleanliness was never a question, just a little maintenance and upkeep work needed, that may deter those looking for a nail place that's a little more "high end". I will not be back I was in search of a new salon and came across this place the man who did my nails was so concerned about everything going on around him he didn't focus on my nails I have a full set of acrylics which two nails are crooked I informed him of my concern before he was finished filing he told me they aren't that's just how my hands are no sir my nails have never been this way I shut up and thought maybe it was the angle I was look at it from no everyone I've showed agreed they are crooked then everything I wanted to do from color to design to top coat he kept telling me no but the part that really bothered me was that everyone around me was getting neck and shoulder massages while their nails were drying no he was jumping in between me and other customers I'm sorry but shouldn't all customers be treated the same when getting the same services don't I derserve your undivided attention maybe if he was more focused on me and my nails instead of working on 3 customers at once my nails wouldn't be crooked I'm not one to give bad reviews but I've never been so annoyed Read Less

I never get my nails done. Ever. But, wanted to treat myself so why not? I don't know of any good spots so I just opened up Yelp! and found this place. I've had my nails done at other places over the years and I've never been able to keep a gel manicure looking good (or not peeling off) not more than a week after getting them done. I stopped in on a Friday afternoon and the place looks typical, typical service etc..The woman that did my mani and pedi was so kind and nice. The gel color that I chose was a brigh fuschia so would require multiple coats and she did it without hesitation or asking - other places didn't want to and the paint chipped just a day later. Brian and Jesse are really nice and I am always greeted by them. They don't get upset when I haven't come in in months (a lot of nail salons will keep asking me where I've been, etc, but I am not one to do nails every week) and give me great treatment. The salon itself is clean, and I believe they even offer little boxes with your own tools that you can purchase just for use on you when you come into the salon. The prices are quite reasonable and the overall experience is relaxing. These are people who genuinely like running their business and I often recommend their salon to anyone who asks. It is easy to call and place an appointment if you'd like, but walk ins are welcome and I usually simply call before I come to see how long the wait is. Read Less

Service is always wonderful. Found this place a few years ago but stopped because the management changed too often for me to become accustomed to receiving the same nail technician. Sheesh. You're always greeted with a smile and friendly Hello no matter how busy they are. Prices are reasonable..most places charge $7-8 for eyebrows, Hollywood a mere $5 and a great job at that. Also offered are eyelash extensions for $25 and chair massages $10 for 10 minutes. Establishment is always clean, bathrooms very clean and stocked. Typically they're busiest in the mornings until about 4pm. After that, you can pretty much walk on in and be seated. Longest wait time I've ever had was about a half-hour but I didn't mind because they have current magazines and flat screen televisions on to keep you busy. Ask for your own personal box that includes tools only used on your nails. Costs nothing and for new customers $5 is taken off of your fifth visit.
