I have been coming here a few weeks but today was my worst experience at a salon ever. My tech literally ruined my nails. I went for a gel refill and normally they let my nails soak a while before they scrape. Well the tech today had zero patience. After three minutes she starts to scrape to the point where she took off layers of my nail. And when the remnants couldn't come off she files my nails down instead of letting them soak more. Super pretty on the inside but their customer service is bad. The guy at the front desk is kinda racist (he apologized to me for the lady who did my manicure - apparently my manicure looked bad because she didn't speak English. Might I add, she did a wonderful job). Today I had an appointment at 1 and I show up to see that they are closed on Mondays. Why give me the appointment if you aren't even open? 3 stars instead of 1 because Mila is the best manicurist I ever had. I will totally come back just for her. But Mila - if you read this - please go to a better salon. You deserve better. She takes great care in her work and is a total perfectionist. Plus she keeps a really interesting conversation going every time I see her. After my first appointment with Mila, the guy at the front desk told me that it's $5 extra for my manicure because she is a "senior manicurist." I don't mind paying extra for her great quality work, but you can't just change the price on me AFTER I already got my service done. They have a kinda dated gel color selection - like 20 shades of red, but nothing modern. They should get a more variety of colors. To reiterate several of the comments on this thread, this nail salon offers one of the best pedicures I've ever had. It's very thorough with an added hot stone massage and heel treatment included in the $30 price. However, the gel manicures are fairly sub-par and quite hit or miss depending on who you see. After 6 months of visiting this salon regularly, I can recall very few occasions that my gel manicure lasted well. From chipping polish to broken nails to color fading, some of the work hasn't been great, and I plan to explore other nail salon options downtown for gel manicures. Overall, I'd say that this salon is definitely worth a try. It is very clean and the employees are professional and friendly. But I would not pay $35 regularly for a simple gel manicure that lasts 1.5 weeks max. Also, do not let them charge you an extra $5 to remove your gel from a prior visit. They claim that if you received a gel manicure from a different salon, they charge $5 to remove it and give you a new one (and ironically, if you continue to get gel manicures there, they don't charge you for gel removal). I have purchased full bottles of acetone for less than $5, so there's no need for anyone to pay an additional fee for that. Read Less

Excellent nail care and waxing services! Sue is perfection and Ina for waxing .  These are the two that take care of me but the service is consistent throughout the salon.  Jin is the manager and is very kind and accommodating. Great service for a great price. I got a manicure (with French so +$5) and a pedicure. The service was quick, but did not feel rushed. You receive a leg massage, hot stones and wax treatment with the basic pedicure, which is much more than I've received at other places. I will be coming back again, for sure! Read Less

One of the best pedicures I've ever had. The hot stone massage and hot paraffin wax for your heels is included in their standard pedicure which is way more than most. Anytime I've had a long day I dream about going back just to get the pedicure done again - which will be very soon.Their gel manicure is also very professional, long lasting, and have the best selection. The staff is super accommodating and pleasant to work with. Salon feels clean and relaxing with great music. Will definitely be going back! Came in as a scheduled 9AM appointment. Because of the early opening hour, the place was quiet, calm and I was able to be seen quickly. I got a gel manicure + pedicure & a facial wax. I am thrilled with the gel mani/pedi and how they were able to re-touch up my toes near the end of the appointment as well as the shoulder massage near the end of my manicure. This place is pricey, but was well worth it as they did a great job, and provided the exact customer service I expected as a guest. This salon is just my style - simple, clean, quiet, nothing fancy. Jin at the front desk is friendly and helpful both over the phone and in person. Sue gave me a beautiful gel manicure and paid great attention to detail. There was relaxing acoustic indie music playing, which was a really nice accompaniment to the manicure as well as the shoulder massage I got from Sue while my nails were setting. Love this salon! They were so accommodating and helped me plan an event for 8 students and another teacher to have a nail party after school. They stuck to our appointment time unlike  other salons who don't run by appointments. They were so kind to the girls and my friend and I. The staff is so professional and the salon is clean and well run. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area! Read Less

Able to squeeze in a basic manicure about a half hour before closing. Parking was tight in the front so try the lot behind the building. Cost was just right ($15) and could be paid with credit card though recommend you carry cash for the tip. Read Less

Visiting with family in town and found the nicest nail salon to unwind and relax. I was lucky to have Sue as my technician. Sue is hands down, one of the best around (top 3 in my book). She has the best gel and massage technique that I've encountered on the East Coast! The overall experience was amazing - although I didn't have an appointment, they were able to accommodate me with the best (Sue) and thanks to the nice fellow at the front desk that connected me to her. The salon does have an ATM machine (if you need cash) and also accepts credit cards. Be sure to give this salon a try - you won't be disappointed! Lovely manicure but I do not have 2 hours to devote to my nails. One gal started on my nails, removed the polish, filed and did my cuticles. She switched places with another gal, who went back over my nails with a file, and cleaned up the cuticles AGAIN. I gently tried to tell her that they look terrific and there's no need to cut the cuticles but she wasn't having it. Maybe I'm too rushed, but this was redonk. Read Less
