He did amazing job doing my nails! But little sister was getting her toes done an my mom had told the lady that she was only getting toes done. When my mom had gone back to check on her the lady was painting them anyways in the back! Without my moms permission! When my mom asked about it! The lady made a big deal about it! She took the color off on her nails and told her to put her shoes on. Not only that but the whole nail crew(workers) started running their mouths in Chinese back and forth an all the way to the back of the nail salon! Talking crap about my mom and the situation! WORST nail salon I've ever been to, and been to many. Nail techs are unfriendly and poorly skilled. Asked for dip and chose a color. That night discovered they glowed green like Halloween in the dark. Next day went back and told they would fix it. Next thing he's shaving down nails again, applies gel when I said I didn't want UV and they still glow in dark. Made numerous calls for Manager or owner only to be hung up on or told they would call back. Then told, too bad, that I picked the color and it's not their fault.All over $35. Got my mom's, maid of honor, and bride hair and makeup done here in December 2017. Michelle was AMAZING. She took all the photos I sent her (and I wasn't even sure of what we wanted - they were very general pictures!) and figured out the perfect hair and makeup styles for each of us. We all looked incredible and got to feel amazing on my big day. I have never looked so good in my entire life. My teenager felt beautiful and looked amazing, and my mom was gorgeous as always. I decided to try this place again this past Friday, after leaving a while ago, and was very disappointed in the work done. The top of the nails are very uneven and they all look scratched up. My favorite place to get a pedicure. They always do a nice job with the nails and calluses and give a good foot massage. I also get gel nail polish, and now that they've gotten to know me they make sure to find the exact color that I always want. Never had any problem with check-out/charges. Read Less

I was referred to this salon and I reluctantly went. I have been going there for almost a year and I was pleased with the service until I went back for a fill-in a week and a half ago. The lady that serviced me was rude she acted as if she did not want to do my nails and it was a poor job. She barely put acrylic on the fill and after filing each nail about 3 seconds each, the finished job was bumpy, not smooth at all. After my nails were dry I walked over to the desk to pay and she walked towards the back. I stood there for at least 7 minutes waiting to pay while she ushered customers who were arriving to their designated tables. I could have walked out without paying, but I'm not that type of lady. The worst manicure I have ever had! Cut my toe and didn't care to do my toes right. Nails were cut uneven and the guy acted like he was clueless. Poor service and I will never return! Not friendly either..... I asked about the wait and I was told none. Sat in the chair 15 minutes before they came over. The manicure was horrible, too. Didn't take off clear polish I had on and left so many cuticles I had to pay for another manicure at a different spa to get it right. Would not recommend this place to anyone! Read Less

I will definitely not be going back. I have been a customer here for over a year. My last experience 3 weeks ago was awful, but the owner messaged me and promised that it would be different when I came back. So, I made an appt for 5:00 today. I was running late from work and tried to call to let someone know. Nobody answered. I was 10 minutes late. I arrived, apologized for being late, and was rudely told to sit down. I waited for over 20 minutes and nobody helped me. People were on the phone, in the back, but weren't able to assist me? I will take my business elsewhere. HORRIBLE & RUDE!!!! Yelp them and you will see. I was visiting my parents and came with my mother in law. We came last year for my wedding and had a great experience. Not today. The woman who did my manicure was rough and rude. She asked me if I wanted to file or cut my nails. So, I told her to file them down. She left one nail long and I asked her to cut it to the same length as my other nails. She rudley replied "you should have told me when I asked to file or cut" Then she... put oil on my nails and buffed my nails with the oil and barely filed my nails. I've never had anybody do that and my cousins own nail salons. When she painted my nails her hands were shaking and she was painting all over my nails and fingers. She kept saying because the nail polish was red she couldn't paint well and she would clean them. I get a manicure back home every 2 weeks and the woman who does mine never has to clean my nails because she is skilled at what she does. I tried to give her a chance and clean my nails, but she did a sloppy job. Parts of my nail wasn't painted, it was bubbled underneath and I had red nail polish all over my hands. I asked her to take the nail polish off because I didn't like it. She wasn't very nice about it and was complaining about it to other people in front of me.My manicure looked like a 5 yr old painted my nails. The guy next to her was nice enough to repaint my nails. I didn't appreciate the woman looking at me and speaking Vietnamese to the other nail techs laughing. Then they asked if I understood what they were saying. I started going here for highlights and haircuts over a year ago. I've had multiple stylists and I've been very happy with all of them. I've gotten many compliments on both the cut and the coloring. I can't speak to their other services, but I would definitely recommend for a women's cut. They are more expensive than the big name chains, but I think that the prices aren't too high and definitely seem fair for the results. Read Less

I am writing to inform of how poor the quality of my gel manicure and pedicure was.  I purchased a groupon for the service. When I went in the place was not that clean. First of all I waited 15 min until I was taken. I was then taken back to a shanty area of the salon that was under construction for what looked like quite some time to a pedicure chair that did not have any jets. All it was, was luke warm water. The pedicure was horrible. The tools were not fresh and clean. The manicurist paint job was worse than what a child could do. The water was dumped out the back door with a wet vac. The door was opened where it was freezing for several minutes. The manicure was worse. My cuticles were not snipped. The paint bubbled and the same day started peeling off. I rarely complain about groupon services but this was horrendous. I wouldn't want anyone to purchase this package and make the same mistake I made. Gel polish is suppose to last 2 weeks. I Was Excited To Try A New Salon And The Name And Website To The Beauty Bar Sounded And Looked Great. I Booked An Appt And Thought It Would Be Great. When I Arrived I Was Greeted By The Woman Behind The Desk And Told They Were A Littld Behind So I Could Take A Seat. After 15 Minutes I Was Walked To The Back To Get started. The Conversation That Was Between Me And The Manicurist Was Extremelt InappropriatE. Professionalism Is Not A Priority At This Facility So If You Arent Easily Offended Then It Might Be For You. The Manicure Was Poor.The Gel Was Applied To The Nails But Didnt Even Cover The Sides Of The Nail. 2 Full Days LatEr The Gel Had Lifted Off 2 Nails. Nothing Out Of The Normal Daily ActivitieS Were Done To Cause This Peeling. I Was Disappointed To Say The Least. The Pedicure Was Also Poor. Nail Polish Was Sloppy and Also Not Even Painted Up To Cuticle.The Staff Was Nice However There ManI/pedi Service Is Below Average By Far. I was in need of a new hair stylist as I had a so-so experience at my last salon (not dropping names, but if you check my reviews you'll find it.)  I had purchased a Groupon for a cut, style, and highlights at the Beauty Bar on a bit of a whim.  After waiting a couple weeks, I set up an appointment.  My stylist was Angie who is also the salon's owner.  She did an excellent job on the cut/style and highlighting!  The salon is divided into 4 areas with a clean and modern design - reception/seating/beauty products, stylist stations, shampoo & dry area, and a separate area that appeared to feature tanning beds and an area for massage/facials.  As I learned, they're planning to expand into the adjacent storefront and are adding more stylists (good for those looking for appointments!)  Prices are very reasonable for services.
