I had a massage with Janet today. Best massage I've ever had!!! Usually people ask what areas are bothering you the most and spend the majority of your 1 hour full body massage on that one area. But not Janet, she massaged me from head to toes and made enough time for those aching areas. I'd recommend her to anyone. I also had a haircut by Claire. New to the area and super concerned about my haircut being done right, I chose this place because of the great reviews but I had an unsatisfactory experience. I have had bangs in my life on and off and I wanted to get them once again. Made an appointment they were going to charge me 30 for shampoo n style and 10 for bangs trim so i decided why not go full haircut for 54. Made appointment, my hair cut was ok (not messed up but not great either) , style was also ok (nothing I c…an't do at home by myself) and the most important part bangs was screwed up. My stylist super sweet girl but bangs are not her strongest suit. I showed her my picture when I had bangs, but no where close and we couldn't come to an agreement on how to fix it. It started with getting my bangs cut which was not done right I expressed my concern to receptionist she charged me full hair cut price and sent me on my way without even a sorry out of her mouth. I believed the reviews and this place may have been great at one time but I had far from great experience. Not to mention I decided to do my hair on the day of a very important party I had to go to. Had a hair cut with one of the stylists. Hair cut and styling was fine, nothing special worth the high pricing of the place. Went there for bangs it was not the stylist's strongest suit. sweet girl and I m sure great stylist but did not do well with my bangs, i have an important party to go to tonight and I am crying my eyes out. Nikki you are super sweet and I am sure a great stylist but I am dissapointed. On top of that I advised receptionist of my dissatisfaction, she charged me the full price of my cut and sent me on my way. It's a positive work environment, and I observe that being passed on to the happy clients I see each day I come to work. I have had personal experience with three hairdressers there: Nicki, Peggy, and Jody. All three are geat listeners and know how to achieve the style and color that compliments you best. Jody gave my 9-…year old a great lesson on how to properly wash, condition and brush her type of hair, and my daughter has been following her advice with great results! I really like this salon and spa. I had messed up my own hair color a bit and had my roots lighter than the rest. My stylist, Dianna, was able to hilite and lowlite a top foil so that my hair looks perfect. Also got the best brow wax ever. Totally ready for the New Year's celebration. Read Less

Got a pedicure yesterday in the snowstorm. What a way to beat the winter blues. I sat in a comfy pedicure chair, sipping wine, and watching it snow thru the big windows Oliver's has overlooking the outside. The pedicure was great, I liked the massage part the best. I found myself in need of a ""color correction"" and made an appointment at Oliver's. I couldn't have been more impressed with the color & lowlights I received. I went in on a whim because I pass by it all the time and it looks like a ""classy"" spa. Well, I get called on time for my haircut and met my hairstylist, Claire. She was very nice and gave me a terrific cut. However, when I got my shampoo that was a whole different story. The puts a few drops of shampoo on my hair and rubs the top of my head a bit and rinses. Then repeats and rinses. I'm thinking...ok, is she going to rub my entire head and wet it all, is she going to do a little massaging, she can't be done already in less than a minute!! This is supposed to be a luxurious spa. I've been to many other spas and never had my hair washed in less than a minute without scrubbing or rubbing or massaging! I have been to many salons in the past and none are as friendly and elegant as this one. The employees are always so happy. They seem to really enjoy what they do. They have great stylists. I got the best haircut there. The spa services are also top notch. They give the best pedicures and all the girls are really good. The waxing is superb. Massage techs really know what they are doing. I have been getting services at Oliver's for over a decade. They actually have many technicians that have been around since I started going there. This is a classic place with first rate service. The technicians are so amiable it makes me remember to smile. Other reviews found the front desk rude? Hardly-they will talk your ear off it you let them. HA! Read Less
