Horrible, horrible, horrible. I would rate less than a star. The lady doing my nails handed me a color and said "this is very opaque." (What I was looking for). She tells me to sit before I even look at all the color choices. I had long nails, and said I wanted them trimmed just a bit. She cut so much off, not to meant ion that she felt the need to talk to every worker inbetwen steps. Ridiculous. When she eventually started to paint, my nails were not opaque. They look horrible. I hate to give a small business or any business a bad review, however, when you pay for a service you expect it to be done properly. I would consider myself a regular at the salon and have had mostly pleasant experiences, until this day.. I was scheduled for a pedicure and everything was going well up until she started trimming and polishing my nails.. after I paid and tipped her I noticed there was nail polish on my actual skin surrounding my toes and my cuticles were more than visible.. when I brought this to her attention she told me she didn't see what I was talking about and that it wasn't her fault because that's how my nails dried.. she told me to sit and painted another coat of polish on my nails and dismissed me immediately.. I asked her if I could dry my toes before heading out and she told me it didn't matter and dismissed me again.. while my toes were drying I overheard her rudely explaining what happened to another costumer!This nail salon sadly lost a loyal customer. Waited almost an hour to be told they would not have time to do my manicure and pedicure. I didn't mind waiting. I go to walk in places and understand there will more than likely be a wait. But to not be upfront and make someone wait only to tell them they won't be seen is unacceptable. First time client, and was treated like an insignificant flea. If you are a standing patron of this place you may be okay. But first timers seek elsewhere. Read Less

After waiting almost an hour I was told they would not have time to do a manicure and pedicure for me. Which would have been fine if they let me know that when I signed in. But decided to tell me only after they wasted an hour of my time. Left the salon and was still upset so I called them minutes later to let them know how I felt about treating me the way I did. The owner chose not to listen to my concerns, tried to speak over me while I was talking, which made me raise my voice to him in order to get him to shut up so he could listen to me. Hung up on me twice and threaded to call the cops.  I really wish I coils comment on the quality of the actual service because I was really looking forward to having my nails done there. Sadly I will never know. I would advise anyone looking for a new establishment to pass this one up. Established patrons are probably okay to continue going here, but it seems as though newer clients are unwelcome. Read Less

Came here today on account of the reviews and recommendation from a friend...I guess I got lucky because Candy did my nails and the reviews said she's the best! I must say..I am pleasantly surprised.. Candy was super friendly and open to different ideas (people out here don't have the same nail trend following as other places)....my nails look great!!...I will definitely be back in two weeks to see Candy! I've been going to LA nails in TrexlertownFor several years. I've been disappointed with the lack of cleanliness (actually filthy)  not following standard protocol with cleaning of tools. The gel manicure itself is good and last 2-3 weeks but it's the environment that is disgusting. They do speak Vietnamese and I know for a fact they talk about their customers in front of them. It's time for a change as these places are a dime a dozen so finding a new one won't be too hard! Sorry LA nails but you need to stepIt up! Clean the place, stop thr clickish stuff amongst yourselves, treat customers with respect and perhaps your business will improve. Oh and turn off the nonsense T V shows. I recently moved here from CA.  Had tried a couple nail places, but was not happy.  Gave LA Nails a try...SUCCESS!!  I have found my new nail place!!  I recommend Candy...personable, caring and funny!  I would recommend calling ahead for an appointment.  So glad that search is over!! Read Less

If you have read my other reviews, you will see that I am a "nail buff" so I like to find a place that does a good job since I will be a regular.  I went to La Nails and have gone to get my nails there in the past.I hadn't used their salon in quite a bit of time because I didn't think they did builder's gel.  They do.  They just require you to make an appointment with Candy and they generally request two weeks notice (as she is the only one who is able do Gel).If you are getting pink and white builder's gel tips, they use the pink gel for the base and white acrylic powder for the tip (most salons around here do that, too).I went today to get shellac on my nails to recover from my last gel tips as my nails needed a rest.  I don't get a warm and fuzzy from the techs but frankly I don't care.  If they are able to do my nails and do them well I am happy.  The real test will be whether they honor my appointment at the scheduled time and whether Candy does a nice job with gel tips.
