I don't think I would recommend this salon. I didn't see the result I was looking for. The outcome wasn't satisfactory. The stylist didn't seem to listen to my explanations. I will not go back. The result was not only not what I asked for, but also not very well-done. Read Less

I had gone here a while ago to get my hair cut and colored, the gal that did my hair was very young so I was a little worried but to my surprise I was very impressed. I have alot of hair and get lots of highlights and she did a great job, great to talk to and really understood what I wanted. I came home and told my boyfriend what a great experience I had so he decided to get me a gift certificate for a mani pedi. I went to redeem this over the weekend and only had tome for the manicure. I usually do the Sheilac but they don't have that but I was told the girlish is compatible if not better. I told her I wanted my nails shorter since I have small children I keep them short, she barley filed them and did not make them shorter and or even. she then painted all the stuff on my nails put oil on my cuticles and sent me on my way. did not offer a sink to wash my hands, didn't put any lotion on my hands and left the polish very bumpy, didn't go edge to edge and left gel under my nails. I went right to my car and started filing to fix them. this was by far the worst manicure I have ever had. the lady who did them was very nice so I feel bad I was so disappointed. It was also about $10 more expensive then everywhere else so I expected it to be good. I spend the rest of the gift certificate on hair product to prevent any more disappointment. I will definetly be back for my hair but would not recommend anybody to get their nails done here. Read Less

My wife and I have been going to see Tara at this business for several years now. We have always had a wonderful experience and have never had any issues with the services Tara provides. From what our stylist tells us, the owner of this business truly believes in delivering high-levels of customer service and requires her stylists to attend continuing education to further advance their craft. The location itself is always clean and they offer freshly brewed espresso to me right when I walk into the door. I have never had a bad haircut and my wife is always happy when she leaves this place. Tara is excellent at recommending products and services that are customized to each person but is NEVER pushy or forceful. As a man, I could get a cheaper haircut almost anywhere. Will I? Not as long as Tara is working. You get what you pay for and I appreciate the time Tara takes to make my haircut perfect. She has great attention to detail and is very knowledgeable about hair itself. I am a trivia/useless fact nerd and Tara has given me some cool facts about hair and how to keep it growing on my head. :) Overall, my wife, daughter and I will continue to use Tara for all of our hair needs as she is not just an amazing stylist, but more importantly to my family, she is a good person. Went to Oregon to visit dear friends and my friend made an appointment for me to have my hair cut and colored by Michelle.  Unbelievable experience.  Lovely salon, great haircut and my new color is amazing.  I walked in with dark brown hair - my true color being almost white! My new color is wonderful shades of brown, light brown and many highlights ranging from dark blond to gold. What makes the hair cut so great is that since I've returned home I am able to wash it, add a little product, brush it and it looks like I've had it done. Read Less

Add me to the steer clear club.  I got a $40 haircut here two months ago (this is how long its taken me to be objective) and it was just bad.  I asked for a pretty basic cut, my layers to be trimmed up and a little off the length.  Not a complicated haircut and a good trial for a new (to me) stylist.  I had two distinctive shelves of hair when she was done.  I noticed immediately when feeling and looking at it and asked at the time for her to even it out.  She did, in about 3 minutes - leaving me with barely less of a hack job than what she had started with.  She rushed me out the door since she had another client come in (early) so I left.  A bad haircut or a stylists' bad day is one thing, but the way a company responds to complaints and criticism seals the deal for me.  I called back a couple days later after attempting to see how liveable it was and what specifics I could tell them needed to be fixed and said I wanted a refund or someone else to fix it.  No way was I letting that same stylist near my hair.  The manager was very accomodating in the beginning to get me in on her schedule which pretty much mirrored my working hours.  I was not about to take time off work for them to correct their mistake.  After going back and forth on a schedule for a week, I just flat asked for my money back and was told I'd get a call back.  Guess who never called back?  That was two months ago.For looking like they do all the right things this place was a colossal dissapointment.  The salon was nice looking, the stylists were all very well trained according to their little brag pages at the stations, and they have online scheduling (which is just cool) but their follow through on what could very well have just been one person's off day has lost them my business. I have been coming to Michelle for over 3 years now.  At that original time, my hair was so over processed by a stylist who really didn't know what she was doing.  Michelle explained the process of what needed to happen to get my hair healthy again and that it wasn't a quick one visit fix.  She was right, and she did get my hair back to top notch condition in just a few visits.  Then she got me to the color I wanted.  She is a excellent with color and styling and I highly recommend her to anyone! When i first moved to wilsonville some 4 years ago.. i was desperately seeking someone to cut my hair! i walked into Synergy and came in contact with Michelle, co owner. she was great! loud! vibrant! just wonderful! she booked in to see one of the girls! Now, i have THICK. LONG. DARK ethnic hair. & some stylists get intimidated by it. so i went in to get some layers in it. & i have to say.. it was rather pricey! I left that day not very happy with the cut, but thought no biggie, it will grow out and fix itself. I went back to get a pedicure.. and was greeted by a very snooty girl. who couldnt schedule me in for some time. and by some time im referring to maybe a wk or two. it was ridiculous! I call for a lip wax! and they're like "come on in!!" so i arrive.. and get walked to the chair.. snooty girl #2... she doesnt wipe my lip, she puts the baby powder.. then the wax and walks away... she comes back to put the strip on and pulls. when she realizes the wax dried on my lip before the strip could stick, she tries again.. needless to say AGAIN i left unsatisfied. I havent gone back since then. I dont think that girl had any idea what to do because she kept going up to another lady, as if she was seeking help. I left not only unsatisfied but with a red upper lip! i havent gone back since! I found an amazing salon, that is quite a drive for me, but well worth it! just about the same prices! ONLY Better! So I read Caitlin's review (no longer posted) and decided I would try someone new - my other hair stylist was really good, but her location wasn't convenient for me.  I too have fine and partially wavy hair with massive cowlicks in 4 different places - grrrr.  Michelle just cut my hair and did an awesome job.  Furthermore, she educated me the entire time about hair care, how to deal with my current hair troubles, the methods she would use to get my hair moving in the right direction, etc.  And, she already knew the direction I wanted to go with my hair!  She is SHARP, really sharp. The first time I came into this salon I came in and I was greeted by a smile and warm welcoming, loved that! I had a real thorough consultation with my stylist and because of it i got exactly what i wanted and i loved it more then i thought i would have. I loved the experience the most i got offered a expresso and was able to relax and had a great conversation with my stylist. This salon is young a hip and i am so glad that i found this place. I loved the care and detail that was put into my haircut, starting with about ten minutes of massage at the shampoo bowl!I have never had a stylist put such effort into making sure I had some down time- which is exactly what I needed. It seems like most of the stylists are very young and just out of beauty school. It has been my experience that when you find someone you like, they don't last.
