Stumbled upon Nails unlimited,  decided to try it out, had a mani couple weeks ago then again today gel mani and pedi. This place is great. I've recently just moved here and have been dreading finding a new nail person, I have long acrylic pointed nails and I'm pretty picky. It's super difficult to find someone to take the time to do it right and mai was amazing. They got me in right away and she worked really hard to make my nails beautiful. I absolutely love this nail salon! I bumped into nails unlimited in early September and I fell in love with Mai. LADIES!! IF YOURE AN ACRYLIC LOVER MAI IS YOUR GIRL!! she has legit slayed my nails everytime. If you're a fan of long acrylic nails she has honestly been the best nail lady in my whole life. I love coming here to get my nails done always super friendly and there hasn't been not one time I don't walk out of this nail salon being super satisfied with the out come! Don't be put off by the previous reviews. This isn't the most glamorous salon, and it certainly doesn't appear very 'spa' like, but your nails will look great. I think they are remodeling or something bc there was no TV or music on - one wall has been primed. No artwork on the walls, so it makes the place cavernous and dull. But the two women in there today were very friendly. The manicure was straightforward, utilitarian, no frills BUT my nails were well shaped and the polish is pretty. This is my mothers go to spot :) Whenever I come up from California, we take an hour or two to relax and get a manicure and pedicure (only $35 dollars)!! Everything is VERY VERY clean and sterilized!! They take there time on cuticles and really "care" for your foot health!! I have previously gotten gel nails (both hands and feet $60) here and they did a fantastic job.Great little place, I'll be back every time I visit the parents!!! xoxo Read Less

My two daughter, niece  and I went here after our regular salon botched our appointment time and couldn't take us in.  I called around to the other salons in the area but all said they were full.  These guys said they could take us and to come on in. Well, they couldn't take us and after over two hours there, my niece had her mani/pedi, and my two daughters got their nails done but I was out of luck as we had to be somewhere else and had no more time to wait.  Specifics on each of the services....The mani/pedi was weak, at best and my niece got left sitting in the chair with wet nails.  No moving her over to a drying table or anything.  The gal just got up and left.  The ladies told my daughters they were spoiled because their mom took them to get their nails done.  Don't even know what to think about that.  My youngest daugter's nails look fine, nothing special, nothing wrong.  Just ok.  Same with my oldest.  They trimmed her nails a bit short but nothing too tragic.  I was all set up to go and then a gal walked in that they said had an appointment so it would be 5-10 minutes more to wait for my service (after having already waited 80 minutes).  35 minutes later, I was still sitting there so we ended up leaving.  My biggest issue was that they should have been straight up with me when I called and asked if they could take us.  To say come in and then leave us sitting for over an hour before helping us and then another hour to onsie-twosie the services is disrespectful of your customer's time.  I provided that feedback at checkout and instead of an apology or accomodation (discount, etc), all I got were two lame excuses.  First being that she didn't know how many of us there were when I called which is total bs.  I told her four and we went over the services for each of us and said we would be in the shop in 10 minutes and they said fine.  When I called her on that, the next excuse was that it was prom season.  However, there wasn't a single person in there under 45, except my daughters and niece.Needless to say, I won't be going back here again.  I will continue my search for a professional service oriented salon in the Wilsonville/Tualatin area and that search will most likely start with the couple salons that were straight with us and said they couldn't take us today. Worst nail service ever!-Inconsistent shape and length.-Filled into and ripped cuticle so bad I was bleeding, when I pointed out to her she disregarded her mistake and never once apologized for it. On top of that she over filed all my nails so bad that by the end of my night they felt so sore I couldn't apply any pressure with my finger tips.-Seals on new tips have gaps so stuff like food or hair product is getting between the natural nail and fake tip-no one smiled or had welcoming energy.Needless to say, I am gonna be looking into a refund and will Not go back. I needed a pedi and a mani, I walked in and those ladies really took good care of me! The best part was while I was getting a pedi a lady came over where I was sitting and gave me a mani while I was getting a pedi! I loved it because a pedi/mani combo did not take forever! Not "wowed", but content. This place has all your typical nail services and pricing. The staff were generally nice and helpful. The woman who did my nails had two strikes against her in that she cut my toenails way too short when they could have been fine with a light filing, and she was bossy as as all get-out(right on the border between endearing and annoying). The latter I took in good stride, but when she started critizing my mom's toenails and that she should have gotten solid color instead of French tips I was really getting irratated. We were there to have fun, relax, and get pampered! Not be harassed into more services and lectured about our choice of polish color!I chose Nails Unlimited through a review on Yelp because five of us ladies planned  on getting pedis done for Mother's Day. And we really needed a location that was easy to meet at halfway between Hillsboro and Mt. Angel.  We planned on going the Tuesday after the holiday in order to avoid possible crowds and craziness. I called a day or two ahead to let them know to expect a group, and as we trickled in for our appointment they had no problem lining us all out, within about an hour or so, with happy feet. The bossy gal somewhat redeemed herself by calculating all of our different tickets and totals when we wanted to help pay for each other's! I have been a bi weekly customer at Nails Unlimited for the past 14 months and I must say, that THEY ARE THE BEST!!!  I am very picky and a TOTAL GERM-A-FOB AND I INSIST ON a STERILE ENVIRONMENT and NAILS UNLIMITED IS VERY, VERY CLEAN!!!There prices aren't bottom cheap, but about average... $13.00 for a eyebrow wax,$25.00 for a decent pedi and around $35.00 for a back fill on your Solar gel nails with gel top coat.They sell the products they use on you and most of their clients are very clean and nice locals so I feel Safe with them using already open polishes on me.There have been a handful of times when I have considered going somewhere else (because of my busy schedule and need for a place close to my jobs and open on Sunday) and building a new relationship with another salon cause I like to see the same person every time when I go in for my eyebrow waxing, Solar Gel Nails and Pedicures however, I HAVE YET TO FIND ANOTHER SHOP THAT CAN CLOSE TO THE PERFECTION NAILS UNLIMITED PROVIDES!!!  I like my nails not too thick, clean and basically, PERFECT!  I like them to look like reals nails that have been well cared for a not just PAID for ones!  So if your looking for a GREAT NAIL SALON, YOU SHOULD GIVE NAILS UNLIMITED A SHOT!!!
