Katie is the owner and is wonderful, she worked here for years and eventually bought the salon. My mom and I have been going for years now and it's simply because they are so personable and do a great job when it comes to nails or any other service. I've been coming to Katie for years now and I've never had a problem. She is amazing! She does wonderful eyelash extensions for a VERY good price in comparison to what others charge elsewhere. Anytime I call to make an appointment she's available, or if she's busy she gets me in first thing the next day. I highly recommend you come here! They have also redone the inside and it looks great! I guess I am confused on the pricing, what is advertised on the outside of the building was different than what I paid when she was finished. For what was paid, I would expect a better outcome. Also, I am not sure that the lady who did my nails has a license. It was one of the oddest manicures that I have had. I don't mind a cheap manicure as long as the store is clean and the practices are sanitary.  This salon is not.  They were filling up nail polish bottles with nail polish remover to help get more out of them.  They were using some reusable instruments.  Yuck! Read Less

I really like this nail salon :) It's not super fancy, which I like because when I get a pedicure I just want to relax and the last thing I want to worry about is being pretentious! I have been here twice now and the younger girl (don't know her name) who has taken care of me both times has been very friendly and done a nice job on my nails. I have gotten the shellac both times, I can't say how long it lasted this time since I just went today but last time my manicure lasted right at two weeks and my pedicure lasted over a month! Everyone that works there is very friendly and welcoming! I recommend this place if you are looking for a decently priced manicure or pedicure and a quiet place to just relax and enjoy. I can't remember how much it was for the shellac mani/pedi last time but today I just had the shellac spa pedicure for $37 which included wax, a scrub, a massage, and friendly service :) For just the spa pedicure it is $25 and I think the regular pedicure is $20 so great prices in my opinion! Not the fanciest Nail place, but very friendly staff and great job on nails. They called in an extra person when they started getting busier to accomodate the customers. They job they did on my toes has lasted longer than any pedi I have had in the past.  I would go back. Read Less

I had a bad experience at this salon. Went here with a group and specifically called ahead to make sure they could accommodate us all. They said they could but clearly could not when we were there. The woman who did my nails was in such a rush my cuticle was cut pretty deep and a week later it was still visible. My nails were uneven, not filed well, and I ended up getting a clear coat rather than shellac as I had planned by the time we were done for time constraints. I will not be coming here again! If you are looking for a fancy/swanky nail spa, this isn't it.  For that, I would recommend Rejuvenation Day Spa.If you are looking for an affordable neighborhood place that is family run with incredibly sweet people, you will probably be happy here.  It isn't fancy, but it is a great place to go for basic nail services. Decided to try this nail place as it was midway between my home and a friend, who was also getting a mani/pedi.  Arrived and greeted very pleasantly.  Three women working that day.  There was one lady getting a manicure and one lady seated waiting to go into the back room for some treatment.  Seated in our pedi chairs and the confusion started.  My water was too cold, then too hot, then no water in the bowl at all. I laughed it off, thinking it was just a silly mistake.  The Lady who was getting a pedi left.  Leaving us alone with the workers.  The  Nail tech's couldn't decide who was going to give who (my friend or myself) our pedi's.  The pedi's went okay.  Took much longer than any other pedi I have ever had.  I should add that when I called to schedule our appointments, I was told that the mani/pedi that I was wanting would take one hour fifteen minutes.  Our pedicure's took an hour alone.  We then moved to the nail station to begin our shellac mani's.  While seated there we decided to get out eyebrows waxed also.  The mani's took over an hour to do and are seriously the worst mani I have ever had.  We had french shellac.  The shellac is very thick, extremely uneven, wraps around my nail onto my skin and under the nail.  It took two women to work on my nails, as the first one apparently had no idea how to do a french mani.  It took us so long, well beyond the time we were told.  We were frustrated and not happy, so we just wanted to get out of there.  We got our eyebrow waxes and paid the owner.  I left there feeling very unhappy and angry that I paid $72.00 for the worst mani/pedi I have ever had.  The one star is because the women who work there are very nice, but the service they provide for nails is horrible.  I would never recommend this place to anyone.  DO NOT GO THERE FOR NAILS! Came using a Groupon for a spa mani/pedi for $30. Regular price is $60.Not impressed. Only one worker was available for a two person appointment. She explained that a lot of unforeseen circumstances happened resulting in two employees down, but I feel a phone call to reschedule would have been better than a two hour appointment.Leg and hand massage was minimal, at best. Paraffin dip for feet but not hands. I didn't ever feel pampered or like I got a spa treatment.  I had polish on my skin and my hands were dry.  I guess it felt like a $30 mani/pedi.I probably won't be back. I got the groupon for my mom, two sisters, and me and we got our nails done on Saturday, December 28. The deluxe pedicures were great and the workers are sweet, but the Deluxe Manicures and Solar Acrylic nails were TERRIBLE! My mom and sisters' did the deluxe manicure and their nails were already chipped by Monday, December 30. I did the Solar Acrylic nails and she did them very quickly; barely filed my nail down and did not do my cuticles. THREE nails started lifting on Tuesday morning, December 31, and then FOUR nails started lifting on Thursday, January 2. I did nothing between Saturday and Monday that would cause my nails to lift; and on Tuesday and Wednesday night, I went into the hot tub (for like 15 minutes and it is not like I keep my hands in the hot water the whole time, i put my arms up), ate and shopped- which should not have caused my nails to lift. When I called to get AT LEAST FOUR of my nails redone because they were so bad, the lady said she would have to look at them first and then I asked if it would be free and she said it depends. I canceled my appointment because I did not want to have to pay money to fix something I had already paid for. Read Less

Best nail salon ever. Every time I go to Oregon to see my BFF I go here. I wish I had a place like this in Phoenix. Friendly staff. Clean salon. Usually my nail polish peels off the same day I get my nails done. I use OPI and always bring my own polish due to this. I go to Superior Nails and bring my OPI and the polish lasts almost a full two weeks. I have no clue what they use as a base or top coat but it works. The prices for a spa mani and pedi are also very reasonable. Read Less

I cannot speak to their nail services, but they do what they call eyelash extensions- they are HORRIBLE. clumps of glue, multiple lashes stuck together, extensions glued to eyelids, too heavy of extensions which caused natural lashes to fall out resulting in bald spots... TRUST ME, DO NOT GET LASHES DONE HERE, IT'S NOT WORTH THE BARGAIN. plus, as a nail tech, you cant legally do lashes in oregon... gotta be an esthetician... Read Less

I am a little surprised reading the other reviews here because I had a spa pedicure at Superior Nails last week and had a great experience!  I heard about them through Sharing Spree where I bought a deal.  I was the first customer last Friday and it was a little chilly when I walked in.  Without me saying a word they brought heaters over to make sure I was comfortable while the salon heated up.  They were very thorough and attentive and I got a great pedicure in only 45 minutes.  I mentioned how great they were to a few of my friends and at least 3 of them said they had pedicures there too and had a great experience.  I will definitely be back when I need my toes done again! I went here yesterday for their Deluxe Pedicure. I hate to say that it was one of the worst pedicures I have ever had. From the time the lady started till I was finished was 22 minutes. Everything was rushed. The leg massage was done mostly one handed while she chatted with her co-workers behind her. She seemed more concerned with the manicure customer she was previously working on than me. Granted I was using a sharing spree voucher but I expected better treatment than I received. Walked in and they took us but then we sat in water for over 30min, me even.longer since.one person did both of us. Poor job cleaning cuticles. Paint job has gaps on all toes.
