I'm torn between three and four stars. They always fit me in and do a quick and decent job on my nails. When I've had shellac it lasted and wore well. I got a full set this visit and though I told them I didn't want to add on gel he did anyway. I'm not confrontational so I just rolled with it. They arent perfectionists with the nails or the cleaning but they do a pretty good job overall. Read Less

I've been going to Sophia's every 3 weeks for the last year. Ty does the most amazing solar shellac Acrylic nails. I'm never disappointed. I almost always pay with a card  and I've never had them ask me to leave to get cash. They are a fantastic group of individuals who always seem to love what they're doing. I usually just get a fill and am not pushed to get a new set with it's unnecessary. Read the 5 star reviews and tried them out for a pedicure.  Staff was very nice, no problem with just walking in (waited about 2 minutes), good atmosphere.  Pretty cheap rates on pedicures as well. I was a little thrown at the end, however.  While they seemed to be able to accept credit cards, they so strongly wanted me to pay in cash that they asked me to leave, go to the ATM nearby, and then come back and pay them.  It wasn't my preference, but they were really insistent.  Not sure about going back here. I have been going to Sophia's Nails for a couple years, they are great!! Such friendly staff, great ambiance, great interior colors and decor and they give a great mani/pedi. Their shellac manicures literally last 3 weeks (or longer). When I have gone to other places they start chipping away at a week and a half or two weeks - sometimes technicians don't give each layer a full 2 minutes... But these guys do!! I have hosted parties here for girlfriends and wedding parties. They have stayed open late for us and treated everyone so well and are a joy to be around! It's not like other nail salons! This experience was horrible. I called and scheduled two nail appointments, early Saturday morning, for Saturday afternoon appointments. Fantastic, two Shellac appointments (my sisters birthday present) for 4:15 pm. Arrived 5 minutes early, went inside, no-one even acknowledged that we had entered. Yes, All employees stared and watched us take a seat awkwardly, but not a single hello, or be with you shortly. 35 minutes later, a woman came over, handed us a tray and said "pick a color." then left. Luckily, my sister took initiative and walked over to the same lady and said, "We would like French Manicures.". She was told, "Have seat." What the Heck? Seriously?? Long story short..50 minutes later, we were seated at stations, 4 different employees would come over, grab a hand, file one nail, horribly, throw our hand down rudely, say nothing, and walk away.......Seriously, this would happen over and over....DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! IF YOU WANT RUDENESS, NO SPOKEN ENGLISH AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.....This is the place for you. Horrible...Never again. Read Less

The salon is beautiful inside but the staff is just not the best at customer service. I was not greeted when coming in I was shouted at as to why I was there after making an appointment 20 minutes prior. It was my first time and it wasn't welcoming, along with not being informed of having to purchase a buffer and file. My pedicure was great but needs some work. Read Less

I've been to a lot of various nail salons over the years and Sophia's Nails is the BEST I've come across! I've been back for months now. I always walk in and they acknowledge me quickly, there's rarely ever a wait which is amazing because they are a busy place! My nails look perfect every single time I get them done here. Was referred by a friend to this salon for the professional  way the owners conduct their business. I made my appointment and find myself inspired to write a review. Clean, punctual, English speaking and up to date on many nail care techniques., Sophia's Nails earns a five star rating.Ty was my Nail specialist and I give him five stars for my Solar nails and  treatment.He was meticulous on every detail, he listening to my requests and I have a perfect set of Solaris. Every customer was greeted warmly and offered a beverage. The music was spa like and relaxing and the ventilation and air conditioned salon, free from chemical smell. They use safe up to date heat lights and are very clean.This is my new nail salon and I'm so happy to finally stop searching for the Ultimate salon , I have found it at Sophia's Nails! Read Less
