Skimped on my massage, charged me for a signature pedicure $45 with one all around color and then without telling me charged another 15$ for shellac equalling a 60$ pedicure with no file kit or drink. Not to mention they didn't know how to do a leopard print design and waited around for 15 minutes and started another walk in and had someone else finish the print on my friend later. This was a reservation for 3 people. I would not recommend this place, too pricy, low quality, and the lady had her phone on a call on speaker phone really loud so I couldn't hear my friend talking. A well done pedicure with a skilled shellac at the end. One of the true joys of American life. The struggle to find these, though....well, let's just say that the struggle is real. Thankfully, I found it! Right here at Aqua Nail Bar! Their work is consistently well done. Very professional and friendly. In fact, it the friendliness that keeps me coming back. I'm immediately greeted upon entering. Walk-in or scheduled, they always appear genuinely happy to see me. Once seated, they are quick to offer a drink and get to work. My daughter and I were treated like queens. The shop is immaculately clean with a peaceful atmosphere. Every technician was friendly and efficient. We chose the deluxe manicure and pedicure and results were thrilling and the process incredibly relaxing and so enjoyable. They did not skimp on the leg, arm, foot and hand massage! This salon is so beautiful, very high end and clean but with the same market-price on all services. Pete is awesome at gel manicures and Kenny does the best massages during the pedicures. I never had my nails done so bad, the place is nice and friendly but because I'm a men 'tis not men my nails should be treated differently than women's.I got there with my girls friends and they finished my nails twice faster. I like taking care of myself and this is definitely not the first time wend I did my nails. They didn't care of all the dry skin and the polis started to pile off the next day. Nice service and pleasant calming atmosphere. But I'm giving it one star because I let my toes dry for over 4 hours and put on slippers and the polish smudged on 3 toes. My pedi didn't even last one day. I was going on vacation the next day so I didn't have time to go back and have them fix my nails. Disappointed at the quality of the polish that they used. Manicure done on Friday, chipping on Saturday.  Nails weren't filed straight.  She cut the cuticles only to make them bleed.   Overall bad manicure.  Older woman that works there rushed through the manicure.  Disappointed!  Time to look for a new place.  Sadly, I don't think they read this so they can improve the quality of their service. Amazing. I just moved to the area and was referred to them, great referral. Vivian helped me and gave me exactly what I wanted. I've never gotten what I wanted on the first trip to any nail salon, I'm a little neurotic. Even my boyfriendn who came with me, agreed she did an amazing job and was so nice to talk to. I'm not sure what the hoopla is for this place... I was not impressed like AT ALL. Yes the customer service was great, but they offered no beverage of any kind (no wine, no tea etc)- like nothing! The one star is for the massage with the hot stone and that's pretty much it. First I was asked to buy my own supplies of nail kit-- this is a bit weird because even higher end salons don't offer this. Very tacky sales. But I buy anyways... Just for the sake of not making a fuss because I want total relaxation. But it's pretty hard to relax when someone is obviously selling you to buy in the middle of a session! Secondly, the nail polish selection is very limited and I'm an Essi/OPI kind of a gal. I never saw one Essie color so you won't find that here- thank God they have OPI! The rest are just generic nail polish you could probably get at Target. The person who did my manicure didn't even ask me to wash my hands after filing my nails down- gross! That's not healthy. Third, the towels are weird and a bit old. I was cringing when they had hot towels in my feet for a pedicure, yet offered none for my hands when I had a manicure. It's... Just... Not that high end of a salon as your expect from a Yelp review. If pass on this place next time. Oh and by the way, make sure you wear and bring your own flip flops because they do not give these out like normal from other places. Talk about being stingy! And I'm paying for these things? The massage chairs are heavenly! My sister and I had pedicures that included a scrub, mask, lotion, and oil with hot stones, hot towels, and a paraffin dip. My feet and legs felt so soft afterward and I could barely feel any calluses. I do wish my cuticles had been worked on a little more, but the whole experience was fabulous. This place is gorgeous inside - it looks much higher end than the average nail salon. They really tried to make it a relaxing beautiful environment.They have all the goodies, hot stone pedicures, shellac, waxing, and even lash extensions (which I have not tried). The massage chairs are in good condition and the technicians are super nice. There is very little conversation between technicians other than in English - I know that is a sore spot for some people. I've had waxing, shellac manicure and pedicures done here and I was mostly pleased each time. The last brow wax I had went a little too far, but hair grows back :) it was still nice looking, I just had much less eyebrows than I expected!!I live across the river in OC and there are probably 4 other places I pass to get here and its completely worth it. I have been a loyal Aqua Nails customer for at least 2 years.  I loved getting shellac manicures there, I referred other people.  Slowly, they all started having bad experiences and nails chipping within days.  One friend went someplace else to get it taken off and they asked her "are you sure this is shellac??", but I continue to go because they know me!!  I was in a week ago and got my usual shellac and color.  I ALWAYS get 2 weeks, even with traveling/typing/cleaning/etc.  This has not even lasted a week and huge chunks of polish are falling off of my nails!  The person that did my nails also cut my cuticle to the point that I was bleeding the last two times I have been there.  I thought it was an accident the first time, but then it happened again just last week.I will continue to use Aqua Nails for brow waxing, but sadly, I think I am done with my nails.  Sad, because they are open on Sundays!!! Nice people, clean, calm music playing and no TV blaring, plus a solid manicure and massage. Chairs are a bit too squishy though, you can't lean back in them while getting a manicure because you'll sink and be too far away, and leaning in becomes uncomfortable on your lower back. I am a regular at this nail salon. I've been to many over a number of years, and this one by far has the best value for your dollar. What I normally would get for a basic pedicure at this nail salon, I would pay $40 for at another. Their basic pedi includes a scrub and paraffin, which is normally a deluxe at other salons. Read Less
