Updated review:After my first experience at Nail Club and posting my initial review, I was contacted by the owner, Dolly the very next day expressing concern about my visit. I was really impressed and pleasantly surprised that she wanted to make up for my not so great first visit. I took her up on her offer to have my nails done by her personally today and she did an amazing job on my nails! She was friendly, understanding, professional, and most importantly made my nails look absolutely fabulous! I would definitely recommend Dolly and will be back again soon!I have a usual nail place that was unable to take me since it was getting a little later in the evening, I knew that most places closed at 7 and it was 6 so knew I had to get in soon because I hate to be one of 'those people'. I work in the service industry and nothing is worse then a group coming in when we are obviously shutting down and it's 10 minutes till close wanting to order steaks, appetizers and cocktails even though last call was 15 minutes ago. I have mixed feelings about this place, because although the woman who actually did my nails was a bit rough, rushed, and obviously wanted to get out of there and go home ( and as I said, I understand how awful it can be to be ready to go home only to have some jerk come in wanting full service so I even asked if it was okay because I would be totally fine not getting them done tonight and waiting till tomorrow but they insisted it was okay). However, The Other Woman working was very sweet, came up to me while I was getting my manicure and made pleasant conversation and asked about the other nail salons I've tried ( it took me awhile to find my favorite, and have had a fair share of bad experiences but this is my first time yelping which, in my industry, is almost blasphemous). The first thing that struck me as strange is she filed my nails while they were wet, without any attempt to dry them which I've never experienced before, and she also didn't listen to my desired shape, which was also strange because my nails were already pretty much square with rounded edges save for a few broken short ones. She started doing a more round tip and when I asked her to try to keep it straight she seemed a bit annoyed with me. Also, the brand of shellac they used was one I have never heard before and the color was quite different from the example they had on the fakes used to choose. I'm not one to complain or ever tell someone how to do their job so I just let her do her thing and hoped for the best when it came to the end product. Which was not what I had been hoping for... Not only were my nails uneven, and some of them are rough at the edges to the point where I already know they are going to start peeling from the corners in a day or two, but she left me with shellac all over the skin on my fingers as well as all the way down to past my nail bed ( I'm not good at explaining this, so I'm just going to post pictures.)I would probably give this place another shot just because the other woman who wasn't my manicurist was super sweet and came off is very knowledgeable and I'm almost certain she would have done a better job at my nails; and it was the end of what was probably a very long day for them and they understandably were exhausted and just wanted to get home, just like we all do at the end of the day! If you ladies read this, please let me know the name of the second woman working that night because I just might book an appointment with her :) Read Less
