I came in and said I wanted black gel nails with purple sparkles over them. The guy painted them all black but one nail purple. I told him that is not what I wanted but he argued with me and said black purple- black purple that what you wanted! I had paint all over my cuticles and fingers because he was sloppy and in a bad mood. He Charged me $40! And I left unhappy and upset. Then two days later I came back cause the black was peeling off and bubbling. They looked awful. And it wasn't what I requested to begin with. I told them how I wanted them done yet again and showed them a picture of what I said I wanted this time. "Black with purple sparkles over the black nails" The guy didn't want to do my nails again and asked for the lady to do them. But she wouldn't fix them how I wanted either. She took the paint off all the black nails and left the one purple. I said okay just paint them all purple since she didn't want to do them as I asked, She said No BLACK and yelled at me again. And was going to repaint them black again. I got up and left and told my mother who was waiting in the car with my daughter. My mother came in and talked with the lady. She yelled at my mother and said only two nails were needing fixed but she took all the black nail polish off because they all looked bad and needed to be redone. She said that I paid for black and cant change colors. Which they all cost the same price and I told them many times how I wanted them done. I've been going to them for almost 10 years and they have always met my expectations. I get various shapes and colors all the way to the classic French. I couldn't be happier with their product. As a licensed nail technician myself, I feel the quality of the product is a lot better than most other salons and last a lot longer. I have oily nail beds so to keep Nails on me is quite the challenge, but they never lived ever!! Great job Pro Nails! Read Less

Worst mani pedi I have ever had. I'm visiting my sister here in Springfield from Orange County California, we wanted to get our nails done and this salon is close to her house. We walked in and got in quickly which was the best thing about this visit. My sisters nail technician didn't even trim her nails, she has 1 short nail and the rest long, the nail polish is spotty and one toe nail polish is already completely off and we left the salon literally 3 hours ago. Her nail beds still have cuticles and she has several hang nails still on her fingers. Polish also doesn't even cover entire nail. My nail technician looked like he hated his job. I manage a hair salon, I understand you can have a bad day but come on bud fake it till you make it. My nail polish is also spotted and doesn't cover the entire nail also, I still have a ton of cuticles too. The massage was about 30-60 seconds long with enough lotion to moisturize his own hands. Also was charged $36 when their price list says it was supposed to be $35, and they verbally told us it was $35. We will never return here or recommend it to any one. This was the worst manicure I've ever had. I had to tell them over five times that I only wanted a gel manicure and not acrylics. And even then they tried to apply the acrylic nails and I had to show them what I meant by just a gel manicure. They proceeded to paint my nails incredibly sloppily, getting gel polish all over my fingers and then trying to dremmel it off my actual skin. I would not recommend this business. Read Less

The reviews hold true. I went as a walk-in and my experience was sub-par. I asked for a French gel manicure and she only asked me twice what I thought of them the whole time. She kept saying perfect, perfect but I didn't see what she was talking about until she went on to the next hand. I asked for the lines to be made thinner and she didn't understand and just added another coat. I asked again and she said she would fix it later. With gel polish that is not really possible. The white lines are wobbly and not straight across. Not worth the $35 charged. Read Less

I go to Kathy only. She does a great job on my nails, and they never lift! The previous owners, I had gone to for many years but was just getting ready to go somewhere else because the nails lifted so much after just two weeks of a fill. Now I can go a month before a fill and my nails never lift! I would give 5 stars but the new owners do not keep the place very clean compared to the previous owners. I've been going to this salon for many years.  The biggest reason is it's cheap and they take walk-ins.You get what you pay for, folks!  Since the new owners took over about a year (or two ago) things have been going downhill for me.  Unless you get "Kathy" expect to be treated with indifference and boredom.  I usually get the older gentleman and he has injured me the last three times I've gone to him.  Since I usually just drop in, I get who is available and it's nearly always him.  The first two times he filed into my cuticles and made them bleed.  The last time he used the grinder under my nails and he ground into the top of my finger.  When I winced and pulled my hand back, he was very surprised -almost as though he didn't believe he'd done it and I made it up!  Yeah, I can make myself bleed spontaneously; can't we all?   Even after that, I was charged 6 dollars more than I normally pay!Three time's a charm, Pro-Nails.  I'm never coming back.  Convenience and cheap don't cut it anymore. I can't speak about any nail tech but Kathy. She's been doing my nails for 3 years now and she does a great job with shaping my nails. The wait time can be LONG, so if you can, book an appointment. I see a lot of walk in people getting mad about waiting when she's working on people who booked this time with her days ago. If your time is short, please just call ahead and solidify your spot.I gave this place four stars because Kathy, Tony and Kim do a great job on nails and pedicures, but I cannot speak for the other techs and the wait time can be long, I've waited almost 2 hours once (last time I ever did a walk in). I took my 92 year old mother there this morning to get her toenails and fingernails done.The tech was very quiet, although I'm sure he speaks English. There was no communication problem. When I walked in, it was about 10:30 am and there was only one customer. Mom was up in a chair in no time, and so I went to sit on the uncomfortable waiting area to wait.He did a great job!
