I have gone to their former salon in Beaverton for several years with excellent results. I’ve always had a very good experience, Katie and her staff were very professional and pleasant. The lady took a long time to get me seated and then she was in a rush and was very rough with my hands. One of my nails was crooked and she even cut one of my cuticles. Never again.  I'm honesty not sure how they are still in business. They're staff is unprofessional and not very knowledgeable. Not to mention sloppy and judgy. Both my friend and I were cut at our visit, I had nail polish all over my hands when we were done, some nails look like I've already had a week grow out (the day we got them done), and some have polish over the cuticle. When I told her what nails to use the accent she looked at me like I was retarded and said "really?". Not okay. The ladies were very friendly however, I would not recommend. I had paid for a pedicure that included a hot stone massage but it was never given. By the time I realized I was going to be charged for the more expensive treatment, my attendant was nowhere to be found. She had said that she would be back to do a top coat for my toes but she never returned. I had an appointment to get to and didn't have time to argue with the lady who was processing the payment so I ended up leaving and paying for the more expensive service.Again, the ladies were very friendly but there are so many other better salons in the area that this one is not worth the money. This is the worst nail salon I've been to, probably in all my life. The man owner, there is really something wrong with him. My acrylic nails had a weeks worth of grow out and I asked him if they could just put some nail polish on he refused and fought me about this for about four minutes. He literally repeated himself about 10 times saying you can't do that it's going to look so ugly. I should've left then and there, that was so weird. A nice lady ended up doing a fine job on putting a coat of nail polish on. Then when he went to charge me he said he told me the wrong price "that I'm getting a deal and he swiped my card for the five extra dollars that he change the price to" then I tried to give the lady who actually did my nails a small tip and he yelled at her to give him the money.Really don't support this place and if you have any other experiences with this man I would review it as well Read Less

I came in 5 days ago for a mani/pedi. The service was lovely. I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, the shellac is falling off of so I came in today to politely ask for a refund. In response to the falling shellac, To my utter shock, the attendant flippantly said, "what more did you expect, ma'am?"I asked again for a refund. She was rude and said they don't do refunds, and insisted on redoing the failing shellacked nails. I don't want it redone bc the others are going to continue to call off. I told her that I would leave, without the refund, and I added that I would report on social media the poor service. She literally laughed at me and said, "everybody says that, but no one ever does it." Then, the owner came over and told me the can do it over, but no refunds. He was yelling at me, to the point that I asked him twice to please stop yelling at me. I gave up on the refund, and sat down to do this Yelp review. The owner continued to dialogue with the attendant about calling the police and having me arrested for trespassing. Yah. Not recommended. Came in and was told to pick a color and the wait would be about 20 minutes. 45 minutes later I was finally put into a seat. Sat with my feet in the water for 20 minutes. By the time a person finally came over the water was cold and my feet looked wrinkled from being the water for so long. I brought a nail kit with me and without asking she brought a new nail filer back (which she made me pay for) because "mine was too dull." I just used it a month ago at four seasons and it wasn't "too dull" then. She rushed to get it done because they did not have enough people working on hand, so my pedicure looked terrible. When asked what package I would like for myself and my daughter, I clearly pointed to the #2 princess package that was $19. She nodded and agreed. For myself I selected #2 (the deluxe).   I was SHOCKED when they told me that my daughters was $36!  I pointed out and said my daughter was to get the princess package #2. They argued and said that the princess package is for 10 and under (my daughter is 11.) This salon is the closest to my house, and I have been going here as long as I can remember. I remember sitting in the kiddy chairs with my mom, and now I go get my nails done all by myself. I am abseloutley addicted with gel nails and love coming here to get them done, especially by Mike. Their prices are pretty reasonable considering they always have coupons available as well. Horrible service, soaked feet for 5 minutes, got a 5 minute massage, and employee was rough with my feet. Pedicure turned out jagged and very uneven. Usually love this place. My best friend and I went to get pedicures last Wednesday and my best friend left very pleased. I left a little worried because the person working on my toes felt like she was cutting the skin on my big toes. Within 2 hours of being home my toes were sore. I woke up with throbbing pain, and two infected big toes! Red, sore & leaking. What a way to start of flip flop season... I'd love to give them another chance but I feel like the women were distracted and not sanitary enough, as I've never had an infected toe in my life and now I have TWO! Cost isn't bad. Been going here for a few years.  The owners are very nice and I can usually walk in.  Love their pedicures but sometimes would like a better leg massage.  They also do great at Shellac Nails too.  I've been to several nail salons and each has their pros and cons.  They can accommodate groups too and have the cutest chairs for little ones.  I love that you can choose a glass of wine or mimosa too while you are pampered.  They also offer juice and soda pop as well.  Want to check your email or FB?  They have free wifi as well. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because the lady that did my 5 year olds pedicure was great! But the lady that did mine on the other hand not so much. The girl sitting next to me was getting a service longer than me and I got their biggest pedicure package. I felt like the service was rushed and that she didn't really want to do her job. And my 5 year old kept playing with her seat making it go forward and backward and the lady must have been getting irritated with her because every time she did it the lady shot her a pretty mean look. Rushed service, very little attention to detail (all of my toenails are crooked), and rude employees. I've tried Icon Nails 3 separate times because they are close to my house but every time is frustrating. Last night she was so rushed she cut my toe and finger, which was odd because it was a Thursday night and I was one of two clients there. She also wouldn't let each shellac layer the full time to cure under the light. The "massage" was her slathering some lotion on my arms for literally 10 seconds each. I still had globs of white lotion on my arms to rub in myself when she was done. Will not be returning I've finally learned my lesson! Read Less

This place says it opens at 9:00 but they are never there at 9. I waited 45 minutes and called several times but their mailbox is always full. This has happened to me 2 times and when I finally did get my nails done they did a good job however they charged me 25$ for a 2 year old manicure which I thought was crazy expensive for such tiny nails. I have no idea why the rating for this place is so low...I went to a nail salon in SE Portland that was rated 4.5 stars. I told my nail technician at this SE Portland salon that my nail was cracked and I needed some mending to it. She said that their salon strength nail glue should hold it, but I personally thought she was trying to rush through my job since the salon was busy. Sure enough, less than 24 hours later, my nail ripped again. I rushed to Icon Nails and they took care of me quickly. Everyone that looked at my nail talked to me about different options I had and didn't rush through the job (even though I expected them to since it was a full house). They were able to put on some acrylic powder over my broken nail plus recreate the red french tip I had done. Plus they didn't charge me for the polish, just a few dollars for the acrylic. I checked out their prices, and it was around 20$ cheaper than what I paid at that Portland salon. I'm grateful and I'll be returning. Read Less

This place is a rip off...I went in for a polish change on toes and fingers (gel on the fingers) expecting to pay what i was told and normally do ($25). Got to the end and $35 really...She said she trimmed some cuticles...well thank you, yes you did and i have two toes that are bleeding and a finger, also when doing so i confirmed "just a polish change." I didn't get a manicure no soak no massage etc. so please don't charge me for one, and then fight with me about it. I asked for a polish change and it was very clear (I just had a mani and pedi less than two weeks ago)!!! I had a sub par experience the first time i was here tried to give it another go and this was the topper. I will NEVER be back!!! I do think there are a few girls that i am sure are good in this facility but i did not get the luck of the draw twice and wasn't impressed by what else i saw going on. Read Less

This was my first pedicure in over a year (babies end pampering for some moms). It was a birthday present from a friend. First of all what I did like: the place was clean, we were greeted immediately and taken to our seats (we made a reservation in advance). Once seated we were offered complimentary drinks and both chose Mimosa's (yummy).  Now for us we were more interested in chatting with each other so it did not bother us that our nail techs were talking it up to each other (read that complaint in other reviews). What I'm less than pleased with is that today is day 5 after my pedicure and my nails are already chipping, I'm not rough on my feet so my past pedicures actually never chip, just grow out. The paint is thin in some areas and you can see the nail bed underneath, I left with dry skin on both my feet (mostly the heels) and poorly trimmed cuticle's. For $35 I really would have expected a little more. I'm bummed that my first pedicure in over a year was of this poor quality. Read Less

Terrible service!  Cheap products, rushes through the steps, they do not let gel and shellac products cure long enough, resulting in pealing off almost immediately.  Owner will not back up the services of his employees, wants to charge you for all fixes.  Will never go back there again!  There are too many other places that are more customer oriented and care about their services they are providing! Went today with my friend to enjoy a little pampering... It had been a long week and I had my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday so it was much needed! Within minutes of the women going to work, my big toe swelled with blood, to which she told me to just dip into the water, and then cuts the side of my pinky toe with cuticle scissors, causing me to cry out in pain. She takes zero sympathy and files away at both bloody areas. The massage was horrible and she sped through everything, despite that fact I asked for a deluxe package. We had an appointment and they took walk-ins instead of us (we arrived at the very same time, told them we had an appointment, they didn't and they were served first). We waited 40 minutes to be served and a girl sitting next to us was waiting an HOUR just to have flowers put on her toes. If you want a good experience, go to Four Seasons. Read Less

My sister-in-law made an appointment here for us for 4:30. We arrived 5 minutes early and it was pretty busy. A man greeted us and we let him know we had an appointment at 4:30. He looked confused and then looked at the book and told us that we were confused and our appointment was at 5. I could clearly see 4:30 written next the the name on the book. He told us to wait a few minutes so we sat down. We waited for 20 minutes and still no one left or was able to start our appointment. We told them we were going to go somewhere else and they let us walk out the door without a word. I was highly disappointed because it looked like a nice place. If they would have at least apologized about the wait when we left, I would have been willing to give them another chance. Read Less

I was next door at Safari Sam's, trying to decide how to kill 2 hours while my son was at a birthday party.  2 doors down was this salon.  It looked clean, had people in it, and had an available nail tech.  I have my own files and such that I keep in the car, so I gave them a shot. With as many nail salons as there are in the area, most places try hard to do a great job to keep you from going somewhere else.  Not here.  If I wanted someone to file my nails and do a quick polish while on my lunch break or something, I guess they would be ok.  There was NO service, no attention to detail.  The lady who was doing my mani was uninterested, spoke very little english, made no eye contact, didn't attempt conversation.  She rushed through everything.  There was almost no massage (literally 30 seconds per arm, no massage on my hand at all).  She hap-hazardly pushed back my cuticles and then just tried to sand them off with the block.  By the time we got to the polish, I was already bummed about the service.  But the kicker was this- while polishing my nails, she kept leaving wide un-polished strips on the sides.  When I asked her if she could get a little closer to the edge, she looked at my nail, then me, then curtly said "no."  and went back to what she was doing.  REALLY?  NO?  I've been getting regular mani's for oh, 15 years.  I paint my own nails often as well.  There was NO good reason she couldn't have accommodated my wish.  She scuffed my nail when finishing up and just clear coated MORE over the top of the obvious mistake.  At this point, I didn't dare ask her to fix it.  She put me under the drying station, came back after 10 minutes, told me I was good to go.  I paid, and left, still VERY tacky from all the clear coat she piled on.  Went home and took off the shoddy polish job and did my own.  I don't usually give low ratings to businesses, but when it's ALL about the service and I get poor service, it's warranted.  Wish I had a better experience, but I really just regretted not driving 2 blocks to Target. I just got butchered at IKON NAILS in Sherwood! I can't believe how rudely i was treated after being cut twice and then they refused to finish my nails. First the (OWNER) cuts me because he is in too big of a hurry to rip my fingertips off and then yells at me because it hurts and tells me to shake it off as blood is running down my arm. It hurt so bad that I start crying and he tells me "I can't work this way" and refuses to finish the job.  I will not be going back and I don't suggest this place to anybody!
