I didn't mind that even though I had an appointment, I had to wait for my manicure and pedi for 15 minutes.
The failure of the technician to ever put the cuticle pusher pointed end in the sterile solution, and then proceeding to go on to another client without ever doing so, is unsanitary and a violation of Oregon health codes.
Because the salon accepts walk-ins, my pedi was rushed (my massage lasted less than 3 minutes and my toes were never touched) and the manicure was completed in under 15 minutes. I had to wait while the technician stopped to wrap two other patrons nails in cotton.
The failure to allow my nails the sufficient time under the UV lamp between polish applications resulted in the polish beginning to chip off the NEXT day. Within three days, polish had chipped off nine nails.
As I write this, it's been 10 days since my appointment and my nails look awful. Not worth the $63 I paid at all. I won't be back.

I have been to the other shops in town and this one is he best. They are polite, friendly and work hard to do an excellent job. That is saying a lot as I am a perfectionist and of the mindset of if I didn't want my nails to be perfect, I would do them at home myself. I see Annie and she does a fabulous job. So happy to have a great salon in town. Thank you!

I called and asked for an appointment for a pedicure. I went for my appointment and was seated right away. The shop was very nice and very clean. It was peaceful and comfortable. The staff was great. It was the best pedicure I have had. My feet looked pretty and felt great. I would recommend this shop to everyone. I will definitely go back.

It's about time Scappoose got a great nail salon! First time to Colorful Nails since the change in ownership and was highly satisfied with the service I received today. The salon is clean, the overall atmosphere is quite relaxing. Phe took his time on my pedicure and I felt like I got my monies worth. They seem pretty busy so my only suggestion would be to make an appointment. Highly recommend Colorful Nails and will definitely be going back.

I love this place! I have been to every salon in town and never been happy with the results. It is a busy place because they are so good that everyone wants in. So, definitely book in advance. Columbia County has needed a good nail salon for a long time. I get acrylics with shellac. They last and always look beautiful.

Walked in on a Sunday to get a fill. No greeting, not one person even pretending to care about customer service whatsoever, just a "what you want" followed by a "we too busy; no time." I thought mayyyybe they'd be better than how it used to be (terrible service, Polish that turns brown after a few days, dirty lobby etc) but from what little I could see; NO IMPROVEMENT whatsoever with new ownership. Won't be coming back! Customer service, LEARN IT

I went here for a shellac manicure and spa pedicure. The ladies there were all very nice and it was a friendly atmosphere. They fit me in on a Saturday morning when I called at about 0930 for an appointment at 1100. They were fast and my mani/pedi looks amazing. I'll definitely be back. Bonus I saw how thoroughly they cleaned the pedicure station and the nail tools.

I am only leaving a 3 star view for this place. The place is nice and pretty clean, they were able to do our pedicures even though they rushed it and it was only about a 15 min pedicure, I do appreciate that, no massage though. The reason our pedicures were only 15 min is I had made a reservation for a specific time for 3 people, one being myself, one being my granny, and one being my 8yr daughter, we left home in plenty of time but ended getting stuck in traffic between St Helens and Scapoose, we tried calling several times but it went straight to voicemail every time, when we showed up they said you have appointment, I said yes it was at this time and we have been trying to call you the whole time, they said their phone never rang. They said they could do it but no massage and no something else, I appreciated that. I also told them no polish on my daughters toe nails and the tech completely ignored me and continued to put polish on her nails. If you just want basic service than it is good, went here to take my granny but I will continue to go to the Day Spa for my pedicures.

Major communication error and I was really excited to be able to try this place out. Definitely lost any future business from me. This was going to be my last pedicure before my due date. Extremely disappointed.

They did a great job remodeling the salon under new ownership! It is beautiful, very clean (so important!) and cool, in spite of the heat outside. I enjoyed a mani-pedi service with Lisa - it was the perfect relaxing kick-off to my vacation week! I would recommend this salon to others out in Columbia County and will return again with family and friends.

I love this place! I have been to every salon in town and never been happy with the results. It is a busy place because they are so good that everyone wants in. So, definitely book in advance. Columbia County has needed a good nail salon for a long time. I get acrylics with shellac. They last and always look beautiful.
