So I made an appointment with tina at 1130 I come and she is working on a client so I wait until 12 pm half hour later till she comes over and starts to try and work on my nails and goes between working on me and her 11 am client. I had a previous shellac color on my toes so instead of waiting for the color to soak she starts scrubbing the shellac off and causes my toe to start bleeding. I chose the color Marilyn merlot like the red wine number 214 and apparently there was not enough to do a manicure so I can match and she tried having me choose a different color than at the end of my pedicure she doesnt finish and has her colleague take over so she can go do someones brows. My pedicure looks terrible this is the worst pedicure experience I have ever had. I will not be coming back. This was my first and last time at dazzel nails. Read Less

I love coming here to get my nails done. I just moved to Oregon and I asked a co-worker if she could recommend a place. She told me to try here which I did! My first visit was on my birthday. I got a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow waxing for a great price and I was given a glass of wine and a bottle of green tea hand lotion as a birthday gift. Had a good experience here the first time with Cecilia. Saw a guy this time and they were too busy to do even a decent job. First, I waited 25 minutes to be seen. The water in the pedicure sink was cold. He was so rushed, he only buffed one heel with the file and forgot to on the other. There was no massage for a deluxe pedicure, which I also payed extra for gel on top of the added fee for massage. There was hot rocks that he lightly​ pushed back and forth over and over, monotonously. Just seemed like he was going through a checklist of things he was supposed to do for the pedicure, and was half assed at best at getting them done. No massage on feet either, just wiped the parafen wax off uneven, unfiled toe nails. He was very polite and offered drinks repeatedly, but was short two people and was double teaming clients the whole time. I don't mind waiting a bit, as the short handed, but they didn't start telling new walk ins to come back later, until there were about 6 people waiting. And I definitely don't like waiting because they're starting on a new client, which happened twice. Still finished in less that an hour because he didn't do any type of massage or even the full pedicure, forgetting buffing and literally running the nail file across each toe one time. Also, both times I've gone here, the color didn't match what was on the palette. Went down the street and am literally getting a new pedicure as I type this. Water was warm to start and she is meticulously fixing the poor work he just did. No wait here At risk of someone thinking I work at the other salon, I won't name drop here, but will be leaving them a positive review for sure. Already a 180° experience. My very first time here.Never again!I went in looking for an ombre french tip, I was told she couldnt do it...fine no biggie so I picked out a solid nude color, as she started painting it had dawned on me she picked a pink color that she "thought looked nice" I pull my hands out from under the UV lights and notice my nails dried clumpy from all 5 coats of paint (1 clear coat, 3 coats pink, and a matte coat) I am at this point so upset I shake my head and ask her to just remove the polish.She then says " no no ill fix for you" I again say "no.just remove it now!" In my mind im thinking I am a paying customer....you couldnt do the color I came in looking for, you then paint my nails the color you thought would look good, and then cant even put 2 coats of a nude on my nails. All said and done she STILL charged me 35$...I dont mind paying for her time and half the set of nails...but after all the service...wow.Some poor customer service! Horrible. Read Less

It's a great location, really nice interior too. I just don't feel comfortable there. There isn't much English being spoken, but that's not even my real problem. I asked to have shellac done, just a color change, and what I walked out with was clearly not the color I had asked for. I decided after first seeing the color difference that I didn't really care, it's only 2 weeks out of my life to live with it, but the problem is that I don't think they're using the brand they have color swatches for. This go around it doesn't seem to be lasting as long as when I've had the same color before. I'm wondering if they're using an inferior product then what is being shown. Read Less

I've been a customer at Dazzle nails multiple times, mainly for pedicures. The person doing the service is rough when they file my nails and it hurts! Recently I decided to try a manicure instead of a pedicure since my fingers are tougher than my toes. While the lady was filing my nails the cut my skin! The only reason why I gave my review two stars instead of one is my nails look pretty. However, i'm not willing to endure pain and cuts in my skin to have pretty nails. Eh. I don't know that I'd come back here. I came in last weekend with a girlfriend for pedicures. We decided last minute to get manicures too. The place is very nice inside, lots of nails colors and polish to choose from. They have comfy massage chairs for the pedicures. My issue with this place is I felt like they were rushing. Well, they were. It was a little busy. My pedicure was great! I loved the massage I got and the hot stones that were used, that was a first for me. I hadn't had my nails done in almost two years and it's been way longer since I've had a pedicure. I was expecting better quality for the amount of money I paid. It's only been a week and the shilac (not sure that's how it's spelled) I got on my nails is already chipping!! Thought it was "suppose to last longer". They should hire more people if they're super busy instead of rushing and half ass polishing people's nails. It's pretty annoying. Not good business. Read Less

While visiting the area from out of town, I saw Dazzle Nails and decided to check it out (had not seen any Yelp reviews prior to walking in). My first impression was that the salon looked very clean, so I asked if they could take me as a walk-in. They said they could and had me pick my polish and seated me immediately, then offered me a choice of beverages.The pedi itself was pure HEAVEN... The water temp was great, I felt the Nail Tech (didn't get her name) was very thorough in preparing my nails, I liked that they allow customers to bring in their own kit (I didn't have one so bought one for $3, which I found very reasonable -- and of course it's yours to keep), the scrub, massage, lotion, hot rocks, wrapped feet and steaming towel leg wrap were all wonderful (and far more than what I get at my home salon for about the same price). The entire pedi lasted well over an hour (much of that time was the massage and pampering). My feet (and legs) feel and look great. Loved the comfy massage chair as well. I will definitely make it a point to stop in for a pedi every time I'm in the area. Really the best pedi I've ever had -- EVER. I saw the good and bad reviews when I pulled up Yelp to add my experience/review; can't speak to the negative ones, but I can say that my experience was wonderful -- very satisfied customer! I have gone to many different nail salons and ended back at Dazzle Nails. Joe is funny and does a great job. I continue to do business there and if you are polite they are polite. Some people need to understand cultural differences and adapt. If you feel they are being rude then ask them why they are acting that way. Most if them will apologize. Hopefully they shutdown soon! I have given them 10 chances. Just to see if it was off day etc. They are very insulting like other reviews have said. She asked who did my nails last basically they were done wrong and I told her the guy there. She shut her mouth. So basically she insulted her own coworker. I needed an acrylic fill and usually do shellac over it. I told her I did not have a lot of time. So I said just do the fill I have my own gel kit. She said you come back later we will paint them. Told her I don't have time. Really I only went there cause they are the closest and I needed a fill. They charged me the price I would have paid for a shellac color and not a regular color even though they did NO COLOR AT ALL! I also wanted to buy the nail color they had and they said they could not sell it. So I asked if I could have the name of it and she said she did not know. Really?? So how do you order it then?? I have on other occasions have seen them treat customers condescending etc. there is also an older lady there that they have still doing nails and one time I and another customer left with cuts all over cause she cut skin not nails and found out later she can't see well! I went in for a gel manicure which in my opinion was very over priced,  $28 not including tip. The guy that did my nails was nice but talked on the phone (his personal phone) almost the entire time. I asked for a different color on my ring finger and he was so distracted with his phone call he painted my ring finger the wrong color and I had to remind him that I asked for a different color, he didn't apologize, just wiped it off and continued his phone call. When he was giving me my "hand massage" he was bickering with a friend/family member of his who was hanging out behind his station, speaking a different language paying no attention to me as a customer and totally neglecting me to make conversation at some points. As he rubbed the lotion into my hand my pinky stung really bad and when I looked, the tip of my pinky was bleeding. I don't know if it was from the filing or the clipping, but he made me bleed.  Definitely wouldn't recommend,  and I will not be going back here again. Read Less

I have been going to Dazzle Nails for over 6 years.  My sister has been seeing Anna for over 16.  I ALWAYS get compliments on how beautiful my nails are.  I have never had a problem with service nor breakage since I have been seeing her.  I believe that unfortunately people in today's world look for reasons to pick others apart.  The reviews on here are truly sad.  This woman goes above and beyond for her clients as well as supports her family via this business.  It is truly sad that we live in a world where people will look for ways to attack businesses to make themselves feel better.  Her licenses are posted and she is and always has been up to code.  I have been to other facilities and developed problems with my nails.  Anna made sure the health of my nails are always cared for.  I hope by posting this anyone reading the other posts will understand that a business can't make everyone happy.  Especially a business such as dealing with women who may be on their period and simply looking for a reason to complain instead of be grateful.  It's just very sad the general public doesn't find ways to say thank you anymore.   We would rather complain.  I won't have anyone else touch my nails but Anna.  I hope you find this review helpful. I used to go to Anna when she first opened this salon, but the service and quality of the manicure went downhill quickly. When I decided to stop going to Anna she left a nasty phone message on my cell phone. Then I recently heard that several people in the community had also experienced terrible manicures, rude behavior, unsanitary conditions, etc. In checking online today with the Oregon Secretary of State, she apparently did not renew her assumed business name license for her company with the State on March 31, 2012 as she should have; therefore, she has been conducting business WITHOUT a license since April 1, 2012.  (According to ORS 648.135, if anyone suffers an injury as a result of their negligence, they can recover damages of $500, plus their attorney's fees. She can also be assessed a $100 penalty by the State for still conducting business.) I believe the City of Sandy also requires a license, which she apparently has let lapse as well.  I certainly hope if anyone else suffers any more nail problems (that become serious or infected) they will seek an attorney.  She needs to be reported. I had an unpleasant experience there. I was 8 min late due to hailstorm that blew thru and driving was slow. I was told your late! And why are you. Then as we started I was thinking about other things not talking to Anna and was told I was boring and she proceeded to prop up her phone to watch a show while she did my nails. Terrible service!! Anna is never friendly. She thinks she is really funny, but she is actually being flat out rude to her customers. I went to pay with my debit card once, and HER terminal was not working so instead of staying calm, she told me to write her check after I explained to her that it's 2014 and I don't carry checks. She decided to say you work at a bank and you don't carry checks?! What does that have anything to do with... I have watched her tell a customer that they were late for their appointment so she skipped over them, and wouldn't take them at all for that night. They are always rushed to get people out of there. I went in there recently with a friend who was getting her nails done. I was looking over some shellac colors and I looked up and said Anna is there someone here that could do my nails. She said to me "I could tell you wanted something" I told her yeah I do. I am a customer. She said not really. Which I am, I don't know her other then from the salon. My most recent situation, I got a manicure just last week and you can see on my nail under the polish there is a nasty hair in it. I asked her to re do it and she complained that I was asking her to do all my nails over (which I wasn't) when I told her to re do only one she told me that she didn't have time for me. This is the worse nail salon around. We pay a pretty penny to get our nails done. I have given up on dazzle nail and will NEVER return. Read Less

I went to get a set of nails put on, granted I was the last walk-in of the night, but it was obvious they were not happy about it. Joseph threw on the fastest set of nails in history, along with some flesh he took and a lot of attitude when I pulled away cause he was hurting me. I am not a baby usually, but my finger nails hurt even the next day. I asked him to shorten all of my nails more and he only did one hand and very uneven. I went home and shortened/evened them myself. Also is there normally an up charge for white tips? Thought those were standard, but it's been years since I last had nails. I will never go back. This is the second time I have gone to this salon. The first time was not bad for a $35.00 Mani Pedi and $10.00 brow wax.However on my return trip early on a Friday morning. I was told It would be a 15 minute wait, which is fine as I was a walk in. I went next door to get a cup of coffee and when I returned they took a twosome who came in after me , also walk-ins! The woman who did my pedicure had a cold and coughed on me during the worst pedicure I have ever had. The hot rocks were cold, the message was five minutes total. The polish was all over my toes. She put my shoes on before she polished! All the while the owner did my manicure IN THE CHAIR, which I hate! It took her about five minutes. She put on one coat of polish and said she would come back and do the message! While the woman polished my toes with my shoes on, she started to do my hand massage. About 10 seconds into it the phone rang and off she went. I sat there until she had yet another woman do the hand massage in the chair! After that lovely experience, the owner took me in the back for a brow wax. She did not wash her hands and she double dipped into the wax!This was the worst mani pedi I ever had. Anna waxed my brows and upper lip! My brows can be difficult  because I have a scar.only $15 for both. The hygiene could have been better.she did not wash her hands before touching my face,and she double dipped the wax stick (cleaner higher end places never dip a used stick into the wax again).i would recommend washing your face soon after.next time I will just ask her to wash her hands first.I broke out on my lip because of the unsanitary conditions.
