I have been here a few times and they did decent work. I just got my nails filled today with them and what I wanted was not what they put on me. They did my nails so shitty. My nails are not completely painted the design is not complete and they still charged me 40.00 and it was a fill not a full set!!! Spoke with the boss and said I can give you 7.00 back. I was like really not even a hey come back we will fix it or next time we will charge half nothing. He said what do you want me to do. Not even a fucken apology. the guy that did my nails made me bleed TWICE. He was filing my nails so hard and burning my skin and nails with his tools I said it hurt about 10 times to the point where I just had to yank my hands back. four of my nails are SOO damn crooked too!!!! Never... NEVER get your nails done here. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had. We went here because it was the only place nearby that wasn’t super busy and I regret it so much. The person who did my nails was so cruel and mean. He cut my finger really bad with the electric file while doing my acrylics. He proceeded to poor something in it that burned to make it stop profusely bleeding, then shook my arm vigorously telling me to “relax”. Meanwhile I’m terrified, bleeding, and nearly crying from the pain. The woman that did my sisters nails ripped her entire set off using her finger nails to pry them up and also shook her telling her to relax while causing her pain. I’ve never been so upset from a nail Salon experience. Nearly a week later and my finger still hurts and has a massive scab and some of my nails popped off! I have been here numerous times before to have manicures and pedicures done, they are never that friendly but I usually let it go and don’t say anything, but today was the worst experience I’ve had here, I went in for a shellac polish and the polish I chose was running out the whole time he did my nails, I figured maybe he would switch to a new bottle of the same color but he didn’t, then he had the nerve to blame me at the end for picking a color that was almost gone like I had any clue... the lady asked me what number and she grabbed the bottle and set it on the desk so I didn’t think anything of it. Expensive and the gentleman who did my pedicure seemed in a bad mood, under experienced and it wasn't a relaxing experience. The workers have nasty looks on there faces, had guys walking around looking at the females making me feel uncomfortable. The Google reviews seem accurate with a 1.5 rating! Won't be back Read Less

The guy that did my pedicure was very rude and clipped my toe too short and cut it. Then on the way out after my husband paid $75 for two pedicures the woman had the nerve to ask me for $5 more for the French tips she forgot to charge. Go anywhere but here Read Less

Very disappointed. Was not asked what type pedicure I wanted. Gentleman just proceeded with the most basic. Not impressed with the polish application either. If you want good customer service, don't come here. I took my mom here and she never treats herself. She's disabled in one of her hands and the guy acted like her disability was a terrible thing. It was her first time getting her nails done and he didn't speak to her once and when he did it spoke to me and had me tell her what to do as if she was incapable of understanding him. Went here today, had a great experience, I told the tec I wanted a regular Manicure no gel and got exactly what I asked for I have been other places and said the same thing they put a gel polish on and charged me more so very happy that Gel Nails does what you ask, friendly people good work will be back. They don't speak English, I couldn't communicate with the lady. I wanted gel nails, I got acrylic nails with a gel top coat, and was charged 47$. The acrylic say,$25 so I'm not sure what was going on. She didn't understand when I asked, she said, it is gel. It was acrylic powder, and liquid applied to nail tip, then uv top coat. She clipped my nails off and pinched one of my fingers, and it bled. She filed my fingers several times 3 were bleeding. She used her nail to shove sides of nail over, pushing her nail into the area she already made raw filing. She was unable to shape them how I wanted, I'm going elsewhere to get them fixed. All of these reviews are from a year or more ago.  I was there early in June 2016.  I made an appointment for 10:00am, saying I just wanted my nails done with gel.  The place was dark and closed up until a few minutes after 10:00.  The woman who helped me, the only technician there, had a very heavy accent, and I could not understand most of what she was saying  She seemed upset with me beause I did not have my own file, etc. (I just moved here from another town where I wasn't required to bring my own supplies).  She tsked tsked about it, finally getting me a box of supplies, then told me to go over there and wash my hands.  (also new to me!)  When I was ready she cut off my nails very short ( they were uneven and ratty, so I wasn't concerned at first).  But then she got out a box of acrylics!  I said, "no, no, I don't want acrylics, I just want my nails polished with get!"  Again, the tsk, tsk started.  She finally got my nails polished with the color I chose, but she didn't paint them all the way down to the cuticle.  I left there feeling I already had "grow-out".  I didn't complain because we were not understanding each other and I was frustrated.  It was cheap -- $17, and I felt if it had been any more than that I would've raised heck with her.  I won't be going back there. This is one of the worst places that I've been in getting my nails done I got shellac because it supposed to be last longer the next two days my nail color so start coming out,I went and talked to the lady and have them fix it for me I wasn't supposed to charge because the quality of the of the nails it wasn't good but the lady was really rude and The lady wanted me to pay again I pay $60 for really bad quality of service to all of you don't come to this place it's not really worth the pay your money and I have quality!i been to nails now,solar nails, ivy nails and this never happened ! Paid 50 for my nails just to have them fall off and break five days later. Then she wants to say that I have to pay 30 dollars to fix two fucking nails. NEVER GOING THERE EVER AGAIN! Everyone there is very nice but the skill level is appalling. My shellac started chipping and peeling after two days which should definitely not be happening, and they use very old and clumpy polish no matter what color and do a very poor job. Not worth the money at all. Read Less

I highly advise that you do NOT waste your time going to Gel Nails (formerly known as Diamond Nails) on Lancaster next to Arby's and Dutch Bros. I just had the worst experience ever trying to get my nails done. first, the guy didn't listen to nail shape I wanted. second, when I expressed my dislike for the shape in a respectful manner he proceeds to laugh at me and tell me that he isn't done and they won't look like this once they're finished. so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and allowed him to proceed only to stay disappointed by the uneven nail shape he claimed would change. I then showed him the picture of the nails I wanted again for the third time only to be told it was the shape of my nail bed, he laughed at me again at which point I said I did not want him to continue working on them. he said he would remove them but we were no longer welcomed at the shop. after that he violently grabbed my hand and started chopping away at my nails while stating how he did the nail shape all the time and that I was just crazy. as I tried to pull my hand away he gripped on tighter and wouldn't let go, then my sister says "you let go of her hand or I'm calling the cops on you!" and then we left. I admit; I love getting manicures and pedicures.  I'm a guy and all that, but it feels sooooooooooooo good.  I put it off for so long, but when the girl says, "I'll treat us to a mani/pedi day," i'm not about to turn her down.So we didn't make a reservation, but Gel Nails got us right in.  The massage chairs were old, but serviceable.  We got the Super Treatment, so after a soak in the foot tub, we got the foot and leg massage, rub down, hot stone treatment, nail trim and polish, and the callous scrape.We then moved on to the manicure, that was done very nicely.I don't really know what to compare this to...but I had a good time.  I felt pampered, to use a good word.It was a nice day and the people there were very sweet and friendly.  I would have no problem going back again, although I was later informed that the amenities were "dated."  I guess I just didn't know the difference. Gel Nails is on Lancaster at D Street, just behind the Arby's. The shopping center they are in was recently rebuilt after a fire in 2013 so everything is fresh, clean and new. They have 8 pedicure spa chairs and 6 manicure stations. It is a mother-daughter business and they are both very friendly and kind. I like them better than any other salon in the area. Read Less
