This place is very rude and they discriminate against homeless/people with disabilities my mom came in there Saturday the 14th of april 2018 to get a hair cut they washed her hair then started cutting...
This place is very rude and they discriminate against homeless/people with disabilities my mom came in there Saturday the 14th of april 2018 to get a hair cut they washed her hair then started cutting it. during the cut the hair stylists Veronica freaked out and walked away in a hurry so the manager came to my mom and said sorry Veronica had to leave she had a emergency. Then made my mom leave in the middle of her cut. I called and they said my mom had lice when she Doesn't have lice. It was very rude the way she got treated and NO one has called me back to work this out. What a High end salon.

Since my last post, Elena had moved back to Cali, so I switched the ever-so talented, Kyla! I have nothing but kind words to leave for Miss Kyla. She is very attention to detail oriented & has always surpassed my expectations on what I'm looking for & what she does!
Also, I would like to compliment their entire staff. I have been going to Venus Allure for over 2 years (I think?) & everyone there is friendly. From the receptionists to their entire team of hair professionals, the general culture is very positive & inviting. I think it speaks volumes to say that a majority of their stylists that were there on my 1st visit are still there! Plus, the salon is gorgeous & very clean!

Gorgeous salon, professional service and friendly staff.
I was recently in the market for a new salon and hair stylist. I searched for nearby salons with great reviews, which is how I came to find Venus Allure Salon & Spa. I made my appointment a little less than 2 weeks ago for a trim and partial highlight. I arrived this morning and was greeted by a few of their friendly employees. My stylist was Elena and she did SUCH a fabulous job! She was meticulous and described every step, giving me options to choose from along the way. My blonde color is beautifully blended and natural. Elena really knocked it outta the park. It's been a while since I have walked out of a salon obsessively looking at and feeling my new hair-do because I love it so much. In only a few short hours after leaving to run some errands around town I received about 4 compliments from total strangers.
I was not asked for leave a review, but I feel that Elena and the salon deserve the public kudos. Venus Allure is very clean and you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the front door. The culture among the staff at the salon truly shows. As I was sitting in the chair, I observed many clients coming in and leaving with their new hair and every single one of them with a glowing smile. I will not only be returning but also recommending this salon to those seeking their services. Thank you!

I've been going to Amy Rose since last year when I was craving a dramatic upgrade during my postpartum frumps. With Asian hair, it's intimidating to be ambitious about dramatic hair color but I really needed a change. I asked around for recommendations and one colleague mentioned how their friend in California was grieving because her stylist, whom she'd been raving about for years, had moved to Portland. And that is how I came to book with Amy Rose.She's pretty amazing. She's given me gorgeous natural dark brown to blonde ombre that wasn't brassy. Today, I'm rocking a gorgeous ash brown balayage. She can also cut thick Asian hair really flatteringly, which is rare among non-Asian stylists in Portland. She's given me great tips on styling and hair care, and offered product recommendations only when asked. I love the stuff she recommends! Best part is that my new look is super easy to style and maintain. And her personality? I seriously enjoy her company. She's such a great soul and so easy to talk to. And so much fun. Ugh, I almost didn't want to write this review because I don't want her to get too popular but she really deserves it. Amy Rose, after this review makes your schedule even busier, please save me an evening slot six to eight weeks from now!! I need youz!

Full disclosure, my sweetheart works here - but. I'm pretty sedentary and don't like change. But I needed a quick haircut one day and my regular place couldn't take me. I got setup with Darcy and was really impressed with the result I got! It wasn't a supercuts kinda thing, it was a real haircut. I got hooked. Pricewise It's nearly the same as I was paying, and they hand you a refreshment (a beer or wine) when you come in. too cool. I now go here for my nails too. I haven't tried the massage yet so can't comment but definitely a full service, all in one place. it simplifies my care and is a fun place - Great wifi, and TV too!

Jenny needs extra stars. I can't even believe the miracle she was able to pull off. I was emailing Jenny before I even had an appointment and was explaining to her what happen prior to me going to meet with her at Venus Allure Salon. I did previously have keratin glue fusions extension installed and they were a nightmare from the very start. Jenny assured me that she could fix the issues I was having and there wouldn't be any stress or anxiety. She answered my questions rega...rding what she was going to be doing. This is where Jenny completely used her instinct and experience to make sure my hair look like it came from a human being. Jenny also came up with this awesome new idea so my hair looks even better than I had imagined from where I had originally went to initially. This isn't my new favorite place JUST because Ashley Service does hair here, but, also, because its amazing. Beautiful decor, relaxing yet fun atmosphere, very friendly staff, and uber hip. They offer every line of business you could want in a salon and I'm very exited to try the product line they carry. I was offered something to drink as soon as I came in and, unlike some places, I never got the feeling that I was being judged by how I look or how much money they might THINK I make. Thumbs up all around. Can't wait to go back...I might even start traveling across town for manicures if my nails turn out as amazing as my hair!

I got setup with Darcy and was really impressed with the result I got! It wasn't a supercuts kinda thing, it was a real haircut. I got hooked. This isn't my new favorite place JUST because Ashley Service does hair here, but, also, because its amazing. Beautiful decor, relaxing yet fun atmosphere, very friendly staff, and uber hip.
