They were very nice but the quality of the work was not.  She cut my toe enough that it bled at home. The quality of their "shellac " was very poor.  It was thin snd still feels sticky. Very disappointed. Will not go back. Read Less

The short: This was an such an amazing experience, that I am writing my first google review just because I was so impressed, and I will definitely be recommending Luxury Nails and Foot massage's services to anyone coming into town. The price was very fair for quality of work and service--$15 for a regular manicure, $25 for a gel manicure, $25 for a regular pedicure, and $35 for a deluxe pedicure, but honestly, I have never been to a place with such long leg massages and the regular pedicure (including parrafin wax and hot stones!) is more than perfect. The long: I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Luxury Nails, and that seems to be the norm; the ladies in chairs all around me were dozing off to nap during their very relaxing leg massages! They had to turn several walk-ins away about half an hour before closing, but they were able to squeeze in some last-minute appointments (including us) and after about a 20-minute wait, they did two manicures (one gel) and two pedicures in an hour to get us out just at closing. My nails looks great, the place was super clean, friendly, and comfortable. They did our manicures in the spa chairs instead of moving us to the tables (they have many more spa chairs than tables) and they are used to clients bringing in their own bag of supplies if you don't want to use the shop supplies. The only issue I had was I wish they had more colors--they have so many gel colors, but less variety in nail polish--however, for the price of their services, it may be very well worth it to do everything in gels. The caveats: I didn't notice anyone around me getting acrylics, and there was no nail art on display, so I cannot speak at all to their acrylic/nail art ability. I am a cis-woman and I brought my (cis-male-bodied) partner, for us both to get our nails done (for my birthday) and while they were very friendly to him, I do not know how friendly they would be to male-bodied queer folk looking for service (my dude didn't get polish, and they seemed to take this for granted and directed all questions about his services to me.) Was really disappointed in the service. My pedicure the day before was fantastic but my acrylic set was awful. I'm not sure why the woman was in such a hurry but she immediately went into putting acrylics on without even attending to my cuticles even though I told her they needed to be and were a mess. My nails came out super square which I told her were incorrect and her solution was to file on the side and not even fix the nail polish. My nails were not properly polished on the sides and I could see tons of my natural nail. When all was over she didn't even put oil on my cuticles or lotion. Love Luxury Nails! This spot has a great atmosphere. Their hours are very accommodating. I always call ahead and get a same day appointment. Walk-ins are also welcome. They offer the best deluxe pedicure and a wide variety of shellac/gel colors. I personally like to see Kim but have also had a great experience with others working there. Would definitely recommend. Love love love this place.  I have tried nearly every top rated nail salon in NW Portland (no exaggeration) and this is by far the best.  It's open and airy- never smells like nail products.  They use a new sterile package of tools for each client, there are at least 10 new pedicure chairs (installed in the last 6 months) plus two specialty smaller chairs for kids.  I never have trouble getting an appointment and watch them seamlessly accommodate almost every walk-in.  They do not lie about being able to fit you in then make you sit for 30 minutes, never make people with an appointment wait and are always very polite and professional.  The color selection is great, they're open all the time and they remember everyone's name even after only 2 visits.  I've been coming for almost 2 years now and never had a bad experience once.  Definitely worth the drive! Ever since they got a new owner it has gone way way down hill. I have been going to the same nail lady, Jenny, for 3 years. I called up there one day and they scheduled me an appointment and asked for Jenny and they said they'd schedule it for me. Well I let them and showed up and Jenny wasn't even there that day! They tried setting me up with one of the new people they brought and i left. I went up there one day and spoke to my nail tech and told her what happened and she ga...ve me her personal number. She ended up leaving and moving to a new nail place. Well I forgot to delete the old number and accidentally called this place.. I asked for Jenny 3 times and they kept trying to say "yes, you can have an appointment with Jenny, when is good?" This was odd to me and I realized I didn't call the correct number. I told them Jenny was not there anymore and they STILL tried scheduling me with one of their new people. They do not do what you ask, and try and trick you into getting your nails done by one of their new people instead of the person I've been with FOREVER. They ended up losing the best nail tech I have ever seen. She is now at Escape Nail Spa, and they're amazing there. See More Read Less
