I went in yesterday, had an appointment for 6:30. I arrived right on time and didn't have to wait. There was only one other customer and she was being treated like a queen, having her solar nails done while getting her pedicure. I had the pleasure of having Tammy as my nail tech. And let me tell you she gave me THE BEST deluxe pedicure I have ever had!! It was quiet, clean, relaxing music.... VERY tranquil. The only thing missing was the thing they do when they like punch and chop the back of your calves....(I love that!), and a glass of SWEET wine, ( all theirs is very dry and bitter. All in all it was a great experience, hoping soon I will be able to go back for and Mani, and a wax!!!! Read Less

I believe it was the owner that did my nails. Didn't catch her name, but loved that she was so experienced, and that she talked to me in perfect English. I was in and out with a full solar pink and white set in about an hour. Made an appointment and still had to wait about 10-15 until she started on me, which wasn't too bad because they turned out perfect, but that is where the lack on 1 start came from, for the wait time with appointment. I will definitely be back for my fill in 2 weeks, and maybe try their wax room that was so popular while I was there. Keep up the great work! Read Less

I have been to every nail salon in Milwaukie, Oak Grove, Sellwood and all surrounding areas near our house (excluding day spa/full service salon/spas) and Amazing Nails does the ABSOLUTE best job BY FAR! Their employees are incredibly nice and attentive, and the do such an incredible job on nails and will gladly touch up and fix anything you don't like, even if your Shellac ships in the first week they will touch them up for you at no cost! They're even amazing for eyebrows ...too, and this is the ONLY nail salon I would EVER trust to do my brows - I'm more of a brow bar type myself because I have unruly, fast growing, uni-brow as a kid type natural thick eyebrows, but *TINA* especially does such an amazing job waxing, I've stopped paying $30 for my eye brows because she does a BETTER job for a third of that price. Fast and AWSOME! Jennie and Lisa rock. They took us w out an appointment and did the best solar fills! Both my bff and I are SO HAPPY WITH OUR NAILS! We loved the shop and the nail tecs! Came in for a fill, she didn't want to cut off the old parts of my acrylic that had lifted, said that would be like doing a whole new set which I wouldn't have minded but she didn't offer... she cut my length way to short, was rough with my hands and nails.... overall not how I'm used to having my nails done. When I told staff, right in front of the actual nail tech who thinned my nail polish and ruined my pedi, how unsatisfied I was, I was tild that I "scare" nail staff. I went here for 6 months, formerly JOHNS NAILS and the techs will DOUBLE BOOK apointments and make you wait over an hour...even almost made two customers late to get to the airport for vacation because they waited an hour for their scheduled mani.
