DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! WORST EVER!!!!! My daughters and I went for manis/pedis 5/21/2018 for my daughters birthday.It was terrible! The lady nicked my daughter twice while doing her mani. Polish started chipping off our toes within 4hrs. The ladies didn’t even fully clean up the cuticles during the mani. They didn’t soak off my shellac off my toes before painting them with regular polish/just filed the dark color off. The lady asked for a tip!! HELL NO!!!!!!! I called to get some kind of a refund. I was told no! I would stay clear of this place!!!!!!! I will be taking my pictures to the owner in person that are date stamped to hopefully get part of my money back! I am so impressed! I had my eyebrows microbladed and they look amazing! No touch up needed. I get compliments on them by all my friends. I also just went back to have eye lash extensions, and again, I left so happy! I am having a chemical peel and hair extensions done next week... I’ll tell you how it turns out. I called this morning to make an apt. No answer. They called me right back which I was impressed. Made the apt for 45 minutes from then. I get there and they claim there water heater isn't working. The place on the inside looked sketchy. He said he could boil some water for me. No thanks! Yuck. Really upset! I work nights and accidentally slept in, rushed up to go get my toes done in time for my anniversary. I showed up at 402 thinking that they closed at 5- and it might just happen. When I walked in, the woman had two people in the pedi chairs and the rest empty- she simply said "what you want?" I asked if they had time for either a mani or pedi- she rudely said "we close at five- not happening today" I'm a normal adult- I can handle being told no- but I am also a firm believer in good customer service and I have to say I won't go back because of this. I'm not a local to Oregon City, but I was a tad disappointed with the service I received from my nail tech, Kim, at this nail salon. She was initially friendly enough, but was rather rough with how she was cutting my nails and sped through the actual painting. I didn't receive any top coat on my toes and felt the end product was one of the messier ones I've experienced. Last minute nail appointment, called at 10 this morning and the lady on the phone was very nice. Got to Pretty Nails at 2 and she continued to be nice when she greeted a friend of mine and I, and was still so sweet throughout the whole nail process. I been searching around for a nail for a long time.. well search no more I finally found one pretty nail one of the best nail salon i been to.. when I walk in the atmosphere was good.. friendly workers good services and quality.. Today was my third visit. First two times were great! The salon is very clean and the decor is current. I called two hours ahead to make an appointment. Brandon told me to come in at 5:45. I arrived at 5:30, and was prepared to wait until my scheduled time. When I came in they got me seated in the chair right away. The lady who was going to work on me spoke absolutely no English, which was fine but created an issue when it came to selecting the type of pedicure I wanted. After I made my choice and pedicure things went downhill from there. She forgot to apply the callus remover, and instead did a mask and scrub which I did not want.She apologized and kept going. When it came time for the paraffin treatment, she left it on for two minutes-usually they let it sit for ten minutes. The massage was hurried and at the end she only knocked $5 off the price. I had a horrible time at this place! I had a woman named Anna, she filled out the foot tub and in I went. I wanted to relax! It had been a long time of me not going to the nail salon. She starts doing my nails and a man comes and sits next to her, I figured he would leave but he stayed there the entire service. I was so uncomfortable that were flirting infront of me talking about kids and going to Europe. I then ask a question and his response was "Cut your foot off" (I just had a friend whom had her leg amputated) so this "joke" wasn't funny at all to me. Anyway, she did such a horrible job because she was talking the entire time and kept turning to look at him also I had asked for a manicure and the man decided to get up and do it himself, the worst manicure I've ever had! So bad I even asked Anna if I can use her nail nipper so that I can do it myself. When we came in we were greeted but not like a friendly hello, it was more of like a hello I am ready to process you. We sat down and they got to work. Brandon did a set of solar nails for me and they are amazing! I had done a fibreglass wrap on my nails,  so he had to deal with getting that off.  He was very particular about getting my nails just right.  I did a clear tip with clear polish and he made sure they were prefect.  They came out better that I thought they would! My first visit at this salon Chihn did my nails. She was very inviting and genuine. They have over 1000 gel colors, no joke! So many great choices. She did an awesome job and was very friendly! The next day I accidentally cracked my fingernail but wasn't able to make it in until the next week.. Kim was able to repair my broken nail for no charge! I had a nice pedicure and all the ladies were very nice. Although the shape and look of my acrylic nails look AWFUL completely uneven and crooked. Bubbly and not at all attractive. For $55 I expected so much more. She rushed through the entire thing. She burned me with the file so many times and was careless with her process. Very disappointed and will not be back.Update:I called today because I had two nails break 24 hours after my appointment. So on top of them being awful now I have two broken ones. I called the salon and in my ten years of getting nails done I have never asked for a refund. My experience was so horrible the thought of her fixing them was out of the question. The gal Cihn who did my nails answered, I asked to speak to the owner and she kept telling me he wasn't there and I had to talk to her. I finally explained my issue and said i just wanted a refund.She refused to refund my money to my card over the phone and made me come in to see her. I drove the 40 mins out of my way back to her salon. (I went here because of reviews and I was in this area). The moment I got there She instantly started trying to convince me to stay and have her fix them. Found this place on Yelp and I'm glad I did. Their nail bar is literally like a bar - it sits up high, which I love! They have 1000 gel nail colors here which is insane! I had a full set done by Brandon, he made sure to know exactly what I wanted and in a long time finally came out of a nail salon satisfied because I got what I asked for. He made sure I liked my nails and kept asking me exactly on how I like my nail shape. Most of the time after first or 2nd day getting full set I regret getting my nails done because I am not happy with how they look like the nail shape and how thick they are, it's been almost a week and I am loving them. Got a pedicure from "Tina" this weekend with my friend who had Chinih. Water was freezing cold which Chinih happily fixed. My friends pedicure went without issue.Tina, however was brutal. She filed the skin on top of my toe that left it tender. That wasn't the worst of it. The corner of my toe was sore all day, I figured she was over zealous with the file and I'd survive. Later that night I sat up all night from the pain, she cut my nail so short at the corner that it was raw. Now 4 days later my other big toe hurts, I find that while also cutting this toe nail short, she left a jagged sliver that became ingrown. Read Less

I've been here three now. First I saw Brandon and second visit I saw the owner, Chinh (chin). Both experiences were superb. Great atmosphere for such a little place. It was very beautiful and inviting both with the decor and customer service. I went to the same place for 6 years and it became my families go to as well. Since I moved however, it's now too long of a drive. I've tried FIVE other places that ended up being horrible. Pretty Nails is now our families go to!
