they were okay. she kinda rushed my nails so a couple of my fingers bled a little bit. she forgot to put cuticle oil on one hand. the color swatches didn’t really match the actual colors so it came out really bright. the owner was doing a lady’s nails next to me and he was kind of course with her. but on the bright side she let me pay 40 when it should’ve been 45. idk they were pretty average and id rather go to la vai nails in meridian if im gonna spend this much 🤷🏻‍♀️ Read Less

I called to make appointment and advised her that I did NOT want the owner to do my nails because he is " rude and disrespectful" but sure enough when I arrived it was him that " greeted me" and as always he was both rude and arrogant! " . ...I stood there listening to them talking back and forth in their language leaving the customers having no idea what they are saying! This is not appropriate in a business!! Never in my life have I received such horrendous treatment at a nail salon. I’ll preface this review by stating that I’m visiting from the east coast and my dad wanted to do something together since we haven’t seen each other in five years. I walked in and was going to get a pedicure and a fill. The wait wasn’t very long at all. An older woman started my pedicure, I’m unsure of her name. As she was scraping my feet she made several comments about my leg being heavy and asked me to hold it up higher. I told her that was as high as I could hold it up since I’m 8 months pregnant. She continued to work on my feet while muttering about me being fat. As she swept up the dead skin she poked me with her broom to show me the dead skin and said “now you’ve lost few pounds”. I asked her to repeat herself several times while she was trying to laugh off her comment until she repeated her statement. At this point I went to stand up to leave and she PHYSICALLY HELD ME THERE WHILE I ATTEMPTED TO LEAVE. When I walked in one of the nail people was holding a customers baby and the baby was screaming his head off while the mother sat there talking to the other worker when the lady and the baby finally left the lady said she would then help me and what I wanted I told her I wanted acrylic nails set done and she said ok you sit then strated just glueing on the plastic nail pieces and only glued on 2 nails straight she kept jabing back the edge of my fingers and when I told her it hurt she just continued to do it worse when she did the powder part the nails didnt even go all the way to the egldges or the back of my nail making it look evwn more sloppy mesn while the guy worker sat there talking about another customer and his wife complaining that she's an evil bitch and does nothing but makes him feel bad when I go to pamper my self I want to relax not feel more stressed our by the employees I got my nails done on monday February 13 it is now Friday the 17th and I have had 6 nails fall off already I really wish I would have read the reviews before ever going there cause I definitely never would have paid 30 dollars for horrible work that just falls off its been about 6 months since I've Done my nails with normal acrylics and they usually last about 2 to 3 weeks with me ipebing boxes and workink before I need to get them filled and only pay 25 dollars these nails lasted me 4 days and I was sitting at home doing almost nothing with my nails now that is absolutely rediculas never will I ever go back to that shop ever again they are completely horrible Read Less

Terrible hygiene in this salon. They do not disinfectant their implements between clients. They just throw them in a drawer and keep using them all day on everyone that comes in. Totally against state regulations!  I would never have a service done in this salon again. Read Less

I did get right in, but first I'm not sure how sanitary it is. The same paper towel used prior was not replaced before my nails were done. I had gel French mani and pedi. There were two toenails that came off the day and a week later I have two nails done on each hand and the big toe nails on each foot. I went in for a refund, but they would only redo them not give money back. No wonder they only take cash. Not at all pleased with this place. Read Less

This salon doesn't even deserve one star I got my nails done just a simple acrylic white set and when I went home I noticed they were already starting to life 3 days later the whites of the nails started to peel off because they didn't glue them on right and when I called and told them and they said I had to pay for them to fix them even though they made the mistakes they are horrible and don't care about there customers the guy sat on the phone and talked while he was making a sad attempt to doy nails even made a mistake and said looks better this way horrible place to go Read Less

I had a shellac manicure on 1/21/15 and let me just say.. never will I go back! The lady who did my manicure didn't bother to soak off the previous shellac that was on there, she just sanded it of with the dremel all the way down to my nail. In addition, she nicked my skin with the dremel! I have little cuts on several of my fingers.. Lastly, the polish looks terrible, wrinkled and not shiny. I have been to Happy Nails many times and each time I walk out loving my nails. Andrew and Wendy are so nice, they are priced just right and are always busy. I cannot understand how a business with so many bad reviews could get so much business.....Well, it's because Happy Nails is a great place to go for manicures, pedicures, nails and much more all within a great atmosphere. I almost never go to get my nails done, but when i do i just want to feel relaxed and pampered. The atmosphere first walking in was quiet and awkward, and the guy was cmplaining about hating Christmas and all holidays and cooking...such a drag, but i went with it anyway. The guy didnt make small talk, didnt look like he even wanted to be there. Ive always had short nails from picking at them so i always get crap from the salon people. But this guy was just plan rude. He looked at them slowly and disguted like he couldnt work with them and made rude jokes. He didnt take his time at all. Just a quick cutical snip and sanded the top of my nails. When he lotion massaged my hands and arms his hands felt like sandpaper. He slapped on the polish and then the second layer before the first had dried so it was all thick. He didnt even clean up the edges! Then said he was done, go dry them. It looked like a 2year old did my nails! I almost cried it looked so bad. And almost didnt even pay! But im not confrentational so i just looked pissed off and hurried out, never to return. I have no idea how they are even open. Please dont ever bother setting foot in this place! if I can, I'm giving -zero stars! My 2 daughters and I went there. The polish chipped off my nails the same day. I went back in to get it fixed. The guy told me we will fix. he repainted my nails (white french tip using the air gun), this was on Friday. during the weekend every nail had polish that was chipped off. Monday I went back in and asked him to fix them right, and to try painting them with polish this time. he tried using polish remover, couldn't get the polish off so he used the dremel tool. sanded everything off and painted my nails. they are awful! he missed some areas and there are lines from where he sanded. they aren't smooth. after my nails were dry I told him thank you and walked out. hefollowed me out wanting to be paid! The man that runs this place is rude and nasty. I mean the place is dirty, they do not clean their tools between customers.
