Kevin is an excellent nail tech.  I will continue to go to Luxury Nails.  Prices are reasonable, love the atmosphere.  After going to Lovely Nails across the street next to Safeway, and continuously having lifts after only one or two days, it was a no-brainer to go to Luxury Nails and have beautiful nails, compliments all the time.  I've also been to four seasons in Sherwood, many times, I can never manage to get the same Nail Tech, so it is very difficult to get beautiful nails all the time. Ive never done a review in my life, but when it comes down to this salon I just had to. Super bad customer service. Worst nail salon I've ever been to. I tried this nail salon a couple months ago and got a full set.. my nails were all crooked and when I asked the nail lady to fix it she was very upset. my recent visit ended up with me having to leave after wasting almost an hour for just a polish change. The lady did not file nor trimmed my nails and polished them a different color than what I had asked... she proceed to do 3 coats of the polish and my nails literally looked like they were balls. Worst experience ever. Did not feel welcomed at all poor attitude and waste of time! I was told that if I didn't like the work that the nail polish was going to be removed but not re-done. Not trying to backlash on someones business but the lack of customer service and attitude just made it worst. The overall work was just horrible. I was not impressed with how my nails came out. I recently had nail dipping done in Midland and they looked very feminine and polished. These however are noticeably bulky and look very dull. I think the nail technician used too much powder... One thing that really bothered me is the nail technician did not trim my cuticles or put lotion on my hands like most salons do. Instead she ripped my cuticles with the electric nail drill and left them looking ugly. Needless to say, I did not have a good experience but 2 stars for the welcoming atmosphere. Read Less

My daughter and I went in for a pedicure and full set each and this was our first time visiting. There was a bit of a wait because they were swamped but everyone was pleasant. Shelby, the receptionist was such a sweetheart and constantly made sure we were comfortable while we waited. Andy also did a great job on my daughters Glow nails. We will be coming back for sure! Today was my second visit. All of the staff have been so nice. My daughters have tried a few other places locally this one is the by far the best! I tend to ask alot of questions, its just how I am. Kevin answered away. Also i noticed that the staff knew alot if people by name. Oh and they are gentle. In the past I haven't experienced gentle nail techs, they were always going as fast as they could. Not here! They are gentle, and aren't rushing through. So if your looking for a friendly, accommodating, gentle, patient, and personable nail shop give this place a try! Read Less

I went 3 times here first time to get my old acrylics removed and to have them put on new solar nails 2nd time a fill and pedicure .. I came back in less then Week later to fix a broken nail and also pointed out my nail was lifting and was told whoever put your new set on did it wrong.. when I told him it was them he got defensive and denied I came in and said sorry you only came in last week for the first time and that it was just for a fill .. I told him no but he was still... very defensive and asked me the day and looked in his scheduling book.. I said fine because I didn't want to argue anymore even though I was right!! I went home looked up my bank recorded sure enough I was charged $41 on 5-19 for my solar set and 2nd time a fill and pedi on 6-8 .. I'm very disappointed I really wanted this place to work out I just wish he would admit he was wrong ... and fix the problem and not be so defensive... See more Read Less

I have been going here since I was in high school and I won't go anywhere else. Kevin and the staff do the best job and are very friendly. They try very hard not only to give you great service but also a very welcoming feel. They continue to greet me by first name and remember things about me in the past and check up on them. Plusses: the staff is SO NICE. The really go out of their way to learn their client's names. The leg massages are awesome. Also, they are updating the pedi chairs and I like them a lot better. I've always been 100% satisfied with the pedi service. Negatives: the shellack top coat is meh. It's just doesn't retain its shine add long as it should and sometimes ends up looking a little patchy. My other complaint is really a wish... I know that shellack takes a while to do, but I wish they'd do more massage with a mani. Read Less
