This is the only place I will go to get my nails done. They are so sweet and really take their time. The prices are reasonable and they even have stamp cards so after a few times, you get to earn $8 off a future visit. I have been to many nails salons, and none compare to this place. They do a great job. Staff is very friendly. The only thing I would change is I wish they would put up a sign advising, "No cell phones." A nail salon or a spa is a place to relax but this last time I sat there listening to the gal next to me have a long, involved, boring phone call with her friend. Not relaxing at all. I want to start off by saying I don't like to complain or write less- than- nice things about people or businesses. I've had my nails done many times before, shellac is the type of nail I'm most familiar with. This is my second time to this particular salon and my first solar nail experience. I didn't mind waiting about half an hour in a chair as I didn't have appointment on a Friday afternoon. I didn't mind the overall amount of time that the service took. What made me most sad was that over half of my nail cuticles had been sliced open with the drill. The manicurist did apologize for cutting me, the problem was that every time she made her rounds with the drill to adhere the nail, she would reopen the cuts. After my appointment, not only my fingers but my hands stung for over two hours. My nails do look pretty. The staff was nice. I'm just iffy on if I ever want acrylics again. It's possible this could just be an off day, or that she is newer, or that she hasn't had as much practice with this nail service. Read Less

I asked the lady how much they would charge for pedicure, she tells me it's $27.  2 minutes later she tells me I'm sorry it's $28.  She once again asks me,  "we have to charge you one more dollar for a nail file.  Is that okay?"  So total was $29.  Why they don't tell me this in the beginning?  This should've included in the price.   I should have said no and walked away.  She was scraping off my skin with the file that I purchased separately.  It was painful.  My big toe nail was not shaped properly, my middle toe was way too long.  What's more she didn't buff my nails with the buffer that I purchased separately.   I didn't have extra time to ask her to redo, so I just let it be.   I will never go back. I called last minute for a shellac manicure ($27) and they so nicely fit me in - and even stayed open a little late to finish. One of the most detailed shellac manicures I have ever had - so patient and great attention to detail (and even three coats)! I will go here again for sure :) Read Less

I like the basics: good massage chairs, good polish selection, pleasant technicians, efficient and quality work, and nice massages. They do a nice job here. I came here the first time and they did a great job on my toes. I had to get acrilic nails for a wedding I was in and I asked them not to make them thick but they were huge and looked awful. One nail was wider than my finger. The whole experience was very expensive.I decided to go again and give them another chance (remember they did do a great job on my toes). This time I just went to get a gel manicure. My nails were wondering short... They broke after the fake ones we take off. The last told me that they don't look good because of how short they were. They give you a shoulder massage at fancy nails which I thought would be awesome. It lasted two minutes. The phone rang right when she was going to switch from my left side to my right. Well my right side never got the massage. Then when they put lotion on your arms, less then 30 seconds each. My nails look like something an 8 year old would get...Icing on the cake? Got overcharged for the whole thing. I originally thought there was a fluke with the acrylic nails not being nice but now I see the fluke was getting a good pedicure the first time I went in. I have been to this salon twice and both times the service was great and quality was excellent. I just went for a manicure yesterday with my mom and got a holographic manicure. The ladies here pay great attention to detail and even though my natural nails look awful and have taken a beating from repeated acrylic application, my manicure is flawless and beautiful. Also, if anyone is thinking of getting a holographic mani, DO IT! It is so cool and mesmerizing to look at. Read Less

Awesome salon that I just came across when driving on Mc Loughlin. They have so many shellac colors and several glitter shellac colors which others salons don't have. The salon is also very clean and the owners are very nice. Pedicure was awesome and very thorough. Great massage with hot stone. Shellac manicure was awesome too. I will be back! Nancy (loan) did such a good job! She spent a long time (1.5) hours on my gel nails and every minute was worth it! I did ask to correct a crooked nail as it was being applied and it was saved:) She followed my many wishes and advice. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she followed it to the T! a cute salon with new owners. I saw the storefront but couldn't find on Yelp very easily.  New name, New Owners. Although, I think there are several "Fancy" Nails in Portland Metro.  Greeted warmly and received nice treatment and a solid Pedicure.  I was the only patron in - it was a little after 10am.  They politely offered beverages, I asked for a hot tea.  They allowed me to select from a menu of offerings.  I liked that they didn't push any one service.  I went for the medium priced Pedicure, $30, hot paraffin treatment. It was efficient, but thorough, they had a great selection of polishes, OPI and other.  I hope they do well.  They accepted my Debit Card.  I helped myself to a few candies out the door. Read Less
