Wish I could give less than 1 star. I was looking forward to giving my 5 yr old granddaughter her first manicure experience but it was a huge mistake to come here. When we first walked in, we were barely acknowledged even though there were 5 staff and no one else in the store. I finally was given a cold greeting but I looked past it and starting to tell her that I was there for a special day with my granddaughter. All she said was, 'what do you want' without even the general courtesy of a smile. I should have clued in and walked out then but against my better judgement I carried on because my granddaughter was so excited for this special experience. I tried to tell her what we wanted but they didn't listen. They sat my granddaughter down and didn't even let her chose her own color. They painted her nails in no more than 2 minutes - slapping on the polish like it was the last thing they wanted to do - no smile, no communication whatsoever. I saw my granddaughter becoming uncomfortable and scared so I took her, paid what was owed and told the rude lady we were leaving. First off, I had my apprehensions because of all the negative reviews. So when I came in with my gift card for Mani & Pedi i knew it would be for a basic one. Woman was nice, and talkative, and told me straight forward that a deluxe pedi would be $35 . Which is pretty standard at most walk in mall shops. I think a big issue is that people want to pay $20 and get this amazing service and not want to tip, or tip 2-3 bucks when it's short. If you want a long, carefully done pedicure pay the darn extra money, or go to spa and get the $55 pedicure ! And tip beforehand ! I gave a $15 tip and she was amazing, even trimmed my fingernails and topcoat free because I only wanted a pedicure, since my job doesn't do well with polish. Wow, thought my experience was the worst, but after reading others reviews, now I understand. "Nicole" was pushy, rude, and did a terrible job on my feet. Worst experience ever! I'm a licensed nail tech and they used dirty implement. The TV was on Netflix showing a marijuana show and swearing.  When I asked about the show the manager started telling me it was legal . My nails look like crap  and if I wasn't desperate to get them done I would've left. Two of the staff were arguing and another customer had to stop them. This place is a joke.  Lesson learned.... After my last experience here on Friday I will never be going back. I wanted a pedicure with polish, not gel. The woman who was doing my pedicure was rushing through it and complained about the shellac she had to remove on my toes and said she would be charging me extra. She also kept pushing me to get the shellac on my toes, and mentioned it at least 6 times. Then she was pushing me to get my nails done too as well as getting waxed. I got sick of having to repeat myself over and over again and told her all I wanted was the pedicure. She got polish all over my feet because she was rushing and after the job she did on my feet there was no way I was about to get any more services from her. I wanted to be able to enjoy a relaxing experience to start my weekend and my pedicure was anything but! Extremely disappointed! My husband got me a gift certificate here (without knowing I would have never gone here) I went because the $ had already been spent on the gift certificate. The lady who did my full set was so rude-she slapped it on quickly and without care, not even doing a good job. I asked for solar she said ok (confirmed) and started putting acrylic powder on, which I had to again ask for the solar powder - she had to remove the acrylic off my finger. The white tips didnt even blend in well with the pink part-several finger nails were put on crooked, there are dents/rivets. I asked if there was anyway she could file the tips to be narrow instead of flaring out and shaped to look natural-She looked at me with a straight face lifted her eye brows and said my nail beds are wide and that's why they flare out. (I've been getting my nails done for 15 years, I have a small-medium frame/bone structure-point is my hands are small and nail beds are definitely not wide) She insisted several times I go with white sparkle (for more $) even though I wanted regular white powder. She rolled her eyes at me several times, like she was annoyed with me and not friendly at all. My husband was trying to do something nice for me because I have been working non-stop day/night, dealing with medical/school issues for my child with special needs, handling lots of other personal family things and he saw I needed a break, but instead of relaxing, I was tense because I didnt want my nails to look horrible for mothers day and the 2 conferences I have coming up in the next few days. I was literally trying to think of a way I could somehow politely not finish the nails and just pay for the service - so I could leave...and then I was thinking how I could get these off before anyone sees them? Was busy was told it be a 10min wait.. I'm OK with that..Another person shows up she has an appointment with one of the girls is asked to wait..Then another lady comes in and is told about 5 min. When the 1st girl is done with he customer she takes the lady that came 2nd after me I gave them the WTF look. I was here before her. Then I told them it was OK I will go somewhere else they all said no is OK sit table 5..So i do I was asked what color I wanted I told tech I wanted the color changing one She didn't understand what I was telling her then I explained color changes with hot/cold water..She offer me different kind of color not the one I wanted I told her last time they had about 6 to choose from, that what she was offering me is not what I wanted..Then she finally after trying to explain what I wanted she found the polishes I wanted..By then she had wrapped my nails in foil. Then I choose a color..Only to be told oh sorry we dont have that one..OK so choose next color...Again oh sorry we dont have that one either..I told her just take this foils off she continued to offer me something I didnt want I told her No I'm going somewhere else thank you. Then she wanted to charge me...I was frustrated by then I told her no is your fault you dont have the colors I want she could of waited for Me to pick a color before she foiled my nails...This place is horrible dont waste your time. I came in after a long shift at work and got my nails done. The lady seem distracted and she wasn't paying attention to my nails. A few days later they started bubbling and chipping. They were uneven and bumpy. I came in and asked if they could please fix my nails and the manager said oh your nails look fine, everyone has a different reaction. I asked for an acrylic set. The sign says $25. I also got a shellac expected to pay a little more for it and was charged $40 because she said that she did solar nails and they don't have acrylic set any more. Aside from being too expensive and taken advantage of, the Rude technician didn't even talk to me and when she asked me how they looked she was irritated that I pointed out they were not shaped well, and extremely flat and too thick. I ended up waiting for the owner and she could only make excuses for her technician. Worst set I've ever had put on. This lady also owns nail garden so I will post my review there as well. I went in with a friend to have a relaxing day. Not only did we end up with bad manicure and pedicure, but we were ignored the whole time and when we tried correcting something got attitude. I tried to get my nail fixed that was mest up and got an attitude and she yanked my hand. Never going back again. Payed to much for  bad experience Read Less

I was very disappointed with my pedicure. Not only did she cut my foot with the grater they use for your feet but was burned with the hot water and the rocks. No apparent concern from the tech. I was considering getting nails done but decided to pass after the pedi experience. Read Less

New favorite nail spa!I decided to go into Nails 4 U after my mother had recommended many times. The salon is clean and spacious and is equipped with massage chair. I got Nail Art and picked up my colors. I took about 10 minutes while I waited for my old polish to soak to get off. Then she washed my hand and started to paint my nail. I was satisfied.I was impressed by the staff. She is friendly and talks with me which makes me feel at home. Most importantly, they take their time and do a great job. Read Less

I got a set of acrylics done here and a pedi both look horrible! I have  nail polish all over the sides of my toes, the dried nail glue is crusted on the sided of my fingers, and one of my nails isn't even painted all the way. The ladies were very kind, but I felt extremely rushed thus the sloppy work. I would not recommend anyone going here! My nails look worse than they did before and they completely over charged me. I've been getting my solar fills, gel nails and pedicures here for years.  I have always been welcomed with great attitude as well as friendly service.  I have walked  in as well as scheduled appointment, if I did not have an appointment I was seen within 15 minutes.  For about 3.5 years I have seen Maci, She is the best, always up on trend and has great recommendations.  I always am satisfied with my nails and am asked several times before I leave if I am happy.  After having Maci as my nail Tech she has also become a very genuine friend.  I would recommend this place hands down as my favorite spot to have great service as well as catch up with an old friend.  I have no idea why this place has horrible ratings, I am picky as picky comes and have no issues!  Owners are very kind, place is always clean and they always offer beverages from hot tea to Soda of all kinds. I have had decent experiences here before, but a friend had her tips lift off so I tried another salon with worse results. I was going to try a new place but it was closed today, so I went back because of convenience/location... and I am very glad I did! I had Emmy and Cam and I will definitely be back and will ask for these two ladies again.Cam is young, but was very thorough and skilled with my pedicure. She checked to make sure I liked the temperature of the water and the wax treatment (not everyone cares enough to ask). I have a couple of in-grown toenails that I have neglected for a while, but she was able to take care of them quickly and painlessly, and even checked to make sure I was happy with them and that I didn't have pain anymore. She then gave a great polish job and long massage. I am often ticklish on my feet and sensitive on my calves/shins, but her pressure was just right for me. During my pedicure Emmy, the manager, came over and did my nails (fill). She showed she is very experienced and skilled with acrylic nails and kindly suggested I try a different shape than what I had to look more natural- I had square nails before and now I have oval and love them! She is very chatty and personable. She also advised me about my ingrown toe nails and how to prevent them for recurring.My only complaints are that they try to push the deluxe massage, and that you pay in cash or by check, but I will be back because they are friendly and do very good work. I initially avoided this place after reading the terrible reviews. I had my nails done somewhere else, then stopped in here to have the gel removed because its close to home. I went ahead and opted for a mani-pedi while I was here. The pedicure was a pleasant and relaxing experience. The downside is the quality of products. Terrible job. Pink and White Solar Nails and the arches were crooked, the edges weren't complete, and the bubbles were visible BEFORE I left! I asked her to fix a couple of things to which she replied "It okay." And did not fix it. I had my 4 year old with me who wanted a pedicure but by the time they got to her, my nails were almost done. They then charged me $10 to paint her little toes. Needless to say I left NO tip. We will NOT go back, nor will ANYBODY I know. Do not waste your money! Thought about letting this slide because I hate writing negative reviews but the more I look at my nails and think about my experience...I just have to. They did a poor job. They didn't push back my cuticles or trim them. Left polish all around my nail. She was yelling at someone behind her the whole time...I didn't understand what she was saying, but she sounded angry.  She started my nails then told me that she had to start another client and that she would come back to me....45 minutes later someone else proceeds to finish my nails. She was much nicer than the original lady that started me...but the quality of work was still lacking. The nails are bumpy any uneven...not what one would expect for a 45 set of nails + the buck they charged for the file. The establishment is dirty, there was a soda cup that looked days old on the next desk. The nail lights looked dirty with nail powder and residue...cotton in old Kim chi containers. This place is disorganized, chaotic, seems unsanitary and not customer friendly. I will be going elsewhere next time...what a shame since it's such a convenient location for me. Read Less

I not to surprised to see the negative comments below.  I have only had my nails done here a few times and generally only go as an outing with certain friends who love it. But even being a "newby" to the nails thing I didn't like how rough they where with my hands. I had them wax my eye brows and couldn't even see any difference.  Each of the 3-4 times I have been here its been  very busy and I have had to wait a long time when I have gone here. The last time my friend and I went we had to wait for over an hour but at that point the other place we where going to try had closed. I felt like they rushed off to other people while leaving me many times. The ladies that did my nails were very nice. But I needed to have them re-done the next day (the final result didn't look like the picture I choose them from), and so they put me through the wringer twice while I was there plus the manager humiliated me as I was walking out because I accidentally touched the polish. I was so mad I could barely drive afterwards. They did a horrible job putting polish over my nails, they looked just horrible. And this was after I paid them $20 to re-do the nails. I've been going to Nails 4 U in Hillsboro for almost 5 years and I love it. The salon is clean, and very comfortable! This place does the best manicures and pedicures. Not only is the price out of this world, but so is the service. The ladies know what they are doing and they do it so efficiently. I always leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. I needed to get my false nails removed. So I went to the nearest salon. Nails 4u. The gal who did my nails spent a great deal of time on her phone or watching the TV screen - Behind her! She ground over half my nails down to nothing so for two weeks now they have been super sensitive and sometimes painful. She got distracted and honestly so did I, she forgot to file my left hand. To make things worst it's a cash only place. But eventually they took my credit card. For a $20 job, I tipped $5. When I check my account, they charged an additional .20 cents to run my credit card! Cheap buggers. So to sum up - They ruined my nails, got tipped for it and then charged me extra for using my credit card. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS PLACE.
