I used to love this place BUT the acrylic nail removal was barbaric at best. No regard for the health of my natural nail. Made an appointment for a pedicure. Liam sat me in a chair and no one came to do my pedicure at all! Waited patiently for 20 min until I finally said something and they said they were “too busy” to help me and gave me a rude “sorry.” Not trying to sit around and wait at 32 weeks pregnant...that’s WHY I made an appointment. I can see 5 min but not 20 then being told to wait another 15. Terrible experience after making an appointment and needing my nails done for a photo session tomorrow. This is the place to go if you are looking for great costumer service as well as quality nail care! Also in a great location. Ive been here to get pedicures and once for a fill in w gel polish and I could not be happier with the results every time. They have complimentary drinks if you are 21+ and getting a pedicure. Louise did a great job. And i cant remember the name of the man who did my gel fill in but he was very meticulous and made sure my nails came out perfect. I just moved to the Hillsboro area recently, and I've tried a lot of different places to get a shellac manicure. Aria is by far the best! I made an appointment with Louise, since I saw she was highly recommended on Yelp. She was amazing! Great attention to detail, listened to exactly the kind of shape I wanted for my nails, and was pretty quick too! It costs $30 to get a shellac manicure with removal, which is about the same as other salons I've been to. The inside was clean, spacious, and had a high-end feel to it. Came in for a fill, shellac and a broken nail and they were done amazing by Louise. I accidentally broke another nail being reckless and came back in a week later and got it fixed by Ann who also did a great job. I absolutely love this salon. My normal is just a shellac manicure, but I wanted to change it up! I went with a full set of acrylics --A friend of mine recommended Louise - she was amazing. She is extremely precise, a total perfectionist. My regular nail tech at a different salon is amazing, and she really made the experience stress-free. Any person who who has a regular salon/tech and decides to switch it up, knows that can be a stressful situation. Nonetheless I was very pleased with my decision.Another plus is that the owner created a point system based off of the amount of money you spend - $1:1 point. I believe once you reach 300 points you get $30 off of a service! How awesome!Not to mention, as other yelpers have mentioned, this salon is very clean and chic. I'm 50/50 on this place. I walked in and was able to be helped right away for a full set, which was nice since I was in a hurry. I let the guy know who was helping me I wanted a specific design which was a chrome ombre fade on the tips. He consulted with another lady who I am assuming was either the owner or manager, she told him to use a nude colored powder and then chrome over the top. I pulled up another photo to just show him another example of what I was looking for, he then went back over to her again to show her, she turned around and looked at me and said "honey you need to make up your mind." I was honestly shocked...I was thinking in my head so that's how you talk to your clients? I then explained I wasn't changing my mind I was just trying to show him more pictures of the design so he would understand what I wanted. He sat back down and then told me it would be $65 for the full set and the additional Chrome detail, I thought it was a bit steep but needed to get my nails done a I had a wedding to go to that day so I agreed. He did a great job overall on the shape and thickness of my nails so I was really happy with that. once he got done and it was time for the chrome part, I asked to see the colors again because I was thinking of switching the color from gold to rose gold for the ombre fade. He gave me the swatch again and then re consulted with the lady again, she came over and explained I wouldn't be able to change the color because it just wouldn't work with the nude acrylic I had on my nails. so at this point I was just really frustrated and told him to just leave them nude and not do anything else to them. Then once I got up to the counter I grabbed one of the brochures just to check the pricing since I thought what he had originally quoted was high and sure enough a full set was priced at $35. So of course I asked him about it and he said that because what I originally wanted had chrome it was extra...I'm thinking an extra $30 for chrome that's insane! I then said ok well we didn't do the chrome so how much would it be then since we left them plain, he then stated he would only charge me $45, like he was cutting me a deal when the brochure listed $35 for a full set. I understand charging extra for using a colored acrylic but I don't think I have ever paid more than an extra $5 for that anywhere else, and as you can see in the pictures they were nothing fancy at the end of the day. Walked in for manicure and was seated right away but sat for 45 mins before being serviced. Ken was very apologetic. The sample colors do not match so the color was completely different than I was expecting. I understand this isn't the nail tech's fault and he offered to redo it. But then the manager Tracey was the one who came over to redo it and was rude about it and was purposely very rough with the nail file directly on the skin rather than nail. I asked her to be careful on my skin and she said "it happens" and was very rude. My skin is cut on every finger. Will never go there again. I had pleasant interactions with every other staff member. Poor customer service and greedy! I made an appt. for a pedicure and manicure at 3:30pm and didn't get out until 5:30pm. I didn't get started on until 4pm. The person handling the check-in had poor customer service - barely acknowledged me or apologize that they were overbooked. It appears this place is only concerned about getting high amounts of customers regardless of its a walk-in or appts. 4/5. Had a ladies' pedi/mani here. I requested an appointment online and they responded quickly to set it up for all of us. When we walked in, we were greeted and shown to our spa chair really got away.The pedicures were amazing. The massage chairs were quieter than some I have experienced. The best was the foot and calf rub. The manicure was less fun. It was the same person for both but I felt like she was trying to rush the manicure. The hand massage was about 30 seconds, just enough to rub some lotion on. When it was over, she said 'finished' then got up and she walked away! I had to take the toe separators out myself and my finger nails got smudged. Overall, it was good. I would do another pedicure here, but skip the manicure. So I just moved to Forest Grove Oregon a few weeks ago from the bay area and words cannot DESCRIBE how happy/overjoyed I am to find a gem like Aria Nails.. I am quite picky with who I go to get my nails done and I have to say, Aria Nails (specifically Louise) goes above and beyond my expectations!! I was referred by a girl at the tanning salon I go to whose nails are always so beautiful and she said she went to ARIA nail salon!!! So I went, and boy was she was spot on, they do such a FANTASTIC job that (I would even venture to say, BETTER?!? job than my old manicurist from back at home who I've been going to since forever (and like I said i'm a picky girl when it comes to who I go to for beauty services!!) ;)It's located next to a very large nice/high-end outdoor mall called The Tanasbourne Town Center which has a Macy's, Victoria's Secret, etc, so it's in a very convenient location especially if you shop a lot, you can just drop in and get your nails done and then do some shopping!!The interior is very modern, clean, & upscale. They have so many massage/pedicure chairs, I was astonished by how large this nail salon actually is!!The lady who did my acrylic nails (I came in for a fill from another salon in Portland who did a subpar job) and Louise made my nails look FABULOUS!! You can tell their technicians here are very experienced, and incredibly meticulous leaving you with beautiful elegant perfectly manicured nails!! They pay attention to details, and you can tell her skill level by the her ease and precision with which she uses her equipment!! The shape, design, curve are all perfect and uniform!! She is also SO fast but does not compromise meticulousness. The place I went to originally all the way in Portland had great reviews on Yelp, but honestly I found the lady to be super slow/TOOK FOREVERRR and my nails looked uneven, and the job was a little bit sloppy.  That is NOT going to be your experience here!!!!!Looks like I will not be going ANYWHERE else now!!! The ladies and men who work are so pleasant and give out good vibes and are always smiling and talking to their customers happily unlike other places where you can never tell if the ladies are gossiping about you or are just in general having a bad day lol.A++++++++ Perfection for ARIA nails!! Where do I begin?! Tracy is absolutely amazing, and she does a wonderful job managing her staff! You can tell that they are very busy, which to me is a good thing! Sometimes it is a little bit of a wait, but you never go unacknowledged, and get discounts for your patience depending on the circumstances! Tracy works so much, and I don't know how she does it with kids in the mix as well! She has done my nails twice now, and a younger man did my toes today! Crystal did my boyfriends toes, which are hard to tackle, as he is on his feet all day for work! I am a licensed nail technician and know the laws and rules of the state of Oregon. I looked but never found a license for any nail technician that was working in the salon. They are supposed to be posted at the station where they work so that you can readily see them. The girl who did my nails burned by skin with the primer. She was very slow and it took over two hours to get a full set. They charged me almost $50 for a full set of nails. The Niels were not shaped very nicely and they were finished by a drill not hand finished. I always try and finish my nails and I could get a set done in 45 minutes. I have never, in my 26 years of life ever felt the need to write a review. But today's experience was definitely called for! WARNING!!! This is by far the worst experience I have ever had! The customer service experience and everything about it was absolutely TRAUMATIZING. First of all, there is a guy in there who tried to force gel acrylics on me. I kept saying no yet told everyone to still try and sell the gel on me. Excuse me, no means no. I'm already alittle irritated at this point. I then show Kathy a picture of the nail shape and length I wanted and unfortunately partway through it realized it was way shorter than what I wanted it to be along with the fact that the coffin shape was alittle off. Basically, I did not like it and voiced it to her over and over again. Yet, she continued to work. She wouldn't stop and told me each time it was too late. Honestly I should've walked out then and there but I was doing my absolute best to bite my tongue and just have her finish it. After she finished I was told to pick out a color but I really did not like anything about it and personally did not want to pay for such a shit job. I tried to speak with that same guy who kept pushing gel on me ($45 compared to just $35 regular acrylics). Verbatim, I had expressed that I really did not like my nails and asked if there were any discounts they could maybe offer me. He then tried to argue about it, raising his voice and literally looking at me like he wanted to punch me in my face. I told him to get someone else I could talk to. He came back and said no discounts, $35. Are you kidding me? I then called some friends and asked what I should do I really didn't find it fair. Under Oregon's service law.. they didn't finish the job and I did not like any part of the service done and therefore had a right to not pay and walk out. I really didn't want to walk out. I have worked in the service industry my whole life and so I understand the inconvenience of it all. I asked them to remove it as I did not want to pay for something I did not like. They refused. Therefore, I walked out. The guy ran after me and grabbed me by my arm and grabbed my Alexander wang backpack and literally tried to yank me back into the salon, ruining my brand new sandals I bought the day before. I was in absolute shock and had to call the cops as 3 of their employees put their hands on me leaving scratches on my arms and back trying to yank my backpack off of me. In fact one of them literally walked out with nail clippers trying to grab my arm to cut the nails off (after I specifically asked if they could remove them ever so nicely beforehand). SMH! If this isn't the worst kind of service ever, I do not know what is anymore. I hope your business fails miserably. Note to your business, any kind of business, you do not put your hands on customers! Horrible costumer service from manager Tracy. I brought my mom to relax , they cut her twice , manager didn't apologize , she just said " it happens " they put rubbing alcohol on the cut without warning her ... the relaxing time she camefor turned into a very uncomfortable moment. What made it worse was the lack of concern and care from the manager. Very rude woman, she won't sympathize with you if you get cuts. One of the best things about this place is how easily you can get an appointment even on a Sunday!! We took appointment for 2 on a Sunday evening.. Good choice of colors.  We settled down for a relaxing session and we got what we wanted We did not feel rushed, the ppl who did our mani pedi did not chatter to themselves which always happens in other Salons in a lang we never understood! Buyer beware. I had an awful experience at this salon. I had one tech start my pedicure then tell me another would finish because she needed to go do a manicure. I sat for 30 minutes waiting for my toes to be polished. When someone finally came she rushed through it. After the first nail I asked her if the polish was too thin to cover and she told me yes but it was too late to change it but that she would do extra coats. Needless to say there were patches of my nail not covered my polish, she left polish on my skin and left a small cut on the tip of my toe. I asked for the manager and it was her. She said she wouldn't give me a refund and that she had clients waiting and that our conversation was making her look bad. That I should call and we'll resolve it on the phone. My friend Kassandra recommended this place to me. And boy, I can see why she did.  I came in with nails that needed to be fixed, and Tracy worked her magic! I wanted coffin nails and she did an absolutely beyond perfect job. She took her time and made sure everything was perfect and precise. Which I truly appreciated. This place was definitely worth it! There was a mix up with my appointment but they were apologetic and I understood! It's busy on the weekends.  Tracy was amazing!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely love my ombré nails!
