*UPDATE: Two and a half days after getting my nails done, one nail popped off completely. Came here yesterday for the first time for a new acrylic set. Technician took an hour and a half and my nails were thick, uneven and the polish was terrible. Went back the next day to fix the color, which they did, but my nails still don't look great. While I was there one other person came back in to have her nails fixed and another woman was complaining about her poor nail job. They also overcharged me for solar nails which I did not ask for. I have been using Nails 2000 for 11-12 weeks now! I love the dip and have used 2 other ladies and yesterday used a young lady that only works weekends and attends Tech! I've been to this place a few times and am usually pleased, but the quality of my shellac pedicure was just awful today  The polish is so far down my nails that it's on the cuticle and will definitely peel away and when I mentioned that, she said she would trim it to make it better (it didn't). The manager Tiffany was really nice and offered to fix it for me, but that would take another 30 minutes I'm sure and I didn't want to make my group wait for me and removing shellac isn't exactly healthy for your nails so I declined her offer. She told me I could call her in a couple days and she'd still fix it but I don't exactly live near by so neither of these solutions really work for me. In the end, I still paid full price, $45 for the worst pedicure I've ever had and I wasn't even offered a small discount for the fact that my toe nails look terrible and I'll sadly have to get them re-done probably way sooner than I would normally. It's saddening because this place is pretty good other than that but I was really not satisfied with the resolutions offered and found it irritating that I still paid full price for sub-par services. I've been coming to this salon for about 2 years now! I used to absolutely love it and all the people here. I've been a regular with my nail lady Vicki and refuse to go to anyone else for many reasons. Today I was in a hurry and thought to myself how bad can a shellac manicure be by anyone else? I have been reminded once again to never go to anyone else other than Vicki here. The lady who did my nails today was very rough, seemed very angry, and worked very sloppy. The guy that greeted me kept making sure I didn't need anything to drink, and the little lady that did my nails, did amazing. A lot of these other salons like to get drill happy and file until they burn my nail bed, however not here. They said guarantee on my nails for two weeks. Definitely the fastest manicure I have ever gotten. My nails were fine, but the experience felt rushed, cramped, and not at all relaxing. I had an appointment and had to wait 5-10 minutes before they started on me. Even then, the woman who was doing my nails was also taking care of other clients, all the while my manicure was less that 20 minutes (18 to be exact!) even though I was paying for a half hour treatment. I waited two weeks to write this review as I was steaming angry after my last experience here.  The customer friendliness is non existent. In fact I'm given a cold shoulder every time I visit.  I've been coming here for 4 years and the owner sees me but totally ignores me when I enter the salon. So what if they offer juice, wine, mimosas or water...I don't really need that and it doesn't smooth over an icy reception. I had an appointment, had my own polish and waited 25 mintues on a non-busy day, a Tuesday. Why bother making an appointment if one has to wait so long?  My feet were in the water for over 30 minutes before anybody paid any attention to me.  Nobody apologized for the wait.  I instructed them to be careful with my toes.  One of them has a callus they tried to scrape off last time and it bled for over an hour and was quite painful. Guess what?  The same thing happened this time and employee said nothing. I felt like I was having minor surgery. They tried to sell me the $40 pedi but this time I wanted the $25.  Things went downhill after that, as the employee got up abruptly in the middle of my pedi and left to clean out a sink a few stalls over.  She took her sweet time cleaning and I'm left waiting! No discussion took place that said "Excuse me while I go take care of something else". She did this right in the middle of my pedicure!  What the heck?  When she returned she kept bending my toes until they became painful. I told her I have arthritis in them but she acted like she didn't care. Hey, when I come for a pedicure I want to be pampered, not brutalized and treated like raw meat. To add insult to injury when she finished with me she didn't wait for the polish to dry. She put my flip-flops on. I asked if the polish was dry and she shrugged her shoulders and asked for money. I paid, left and told them I would not be returning. Another gal tried to intervene but it was too late. No excuse for poor service Vogue. No reason to return to any of their salons.  So, if you like to be treated like a valued customer, go elsewhere.  Trust me, I will not be back. There are plenty of nail salons in the area, and I know Vogue opened two more and I will not give them a chance to treat me this way again. Last time I came for a pedi I waited 30 minutes past my appointment time for them to get started. The pedi was 15 minutes excluding polish...15 minutes!!! I am now sitting in the lobby 20 minutes past my appointment time! Sooo frustrated with the horrible punctuality. I only return because there are a couple of great girls that do a fantastic job. I was a walk in, no appointment and t didn't have to wait very long. I had a pedicure first and the experience was great. My technician was friendly and she did a good job. I had a different technician for my manicure and the experience was bad. She was rushed, the polish was too thick so it looks lumpy, she had to redo two nails because of the mistakes she made...and it took over an hour for my manicure. We have used this salon exclusively for years. The last few times haven't been as great. Today was the worst experience ever! I made an appointment for a pedicure for myself and my daughter. We were rushed out of our chairs to accommodate other people waiting. In this process my daughter smudged her nails. I told the lady and she was super annoyed.... then she didn't even fix them. For the first time ever I actually only tipped 10%... which  is hard for me to do. So sad that even with an appointment we get rushed out and the service and product were terrible. Saturday June 10, 2017 I got a French manicure because I had never done that before. By Sunday it was already chipping and I hadn't my hands in water yet. Went because a friend wanted to get her nails done. We had a few more friends that were going to join us there. My children were there also. So 7 in all. I guess this stressed out the staff. They all weer screaming at each other in there own native tonge. Well that scared my little girls and one of the techs that was painting her nails said very loudly dont move. they do NOT wash the glasses that they use to  serve wine, water and soda !  I contacted the Clackamas County Health Department, and was told this is not regulated as they do not "Charge" for the beverages. PLEASE know that many communicable diseases can be spread by unwashed dishes. I've been to Nails 2000 a ton of times and have always had a pleaseant experience. My mom and I went yesterday afternoon and like any typical Saturday they were busy. The lady who did my toes was very nice and even let the owner's daughter help her with my pedicure. While she was super cute while "working" and I didn't honestly mind, I did feel like I didn't really get what I paid for. Some of the stuff that's included in the service she let the little girl do and didn't go b...ack and do it. About the time I was done someone finally got to my mom. The lady helping my mom wasn't as friendly and seemed to be stalling. My mom sat for a good 10-15 mins waiting for the lady to come back. I am so upset. I got a gel acrylic fill on my visit. Walking to the chair, I tripped over a box in the middle of the floor and fell. Now to the appointment...First I asked if she could make them shorter.... she flat out said NO it wouldn't look good.... There are visible bumps where she filled in my acrylics. Also I asked for white and she said ok, and I even showed her a picture. She still made my nails clear not white!  My nails are see through and she wiped off polish from the ends so now there is just the plastic acrylic part and it looks horrible and so fake. Don't even get me started on the underneath of the acrylics... I'm constantly scratching things with the left overs. Siting in the parking lot so frustrated because tomorrow is a holiday and I can't fix these horrible nails. The nails are not even straight. They are curved because she did them so fast. I went back in because there was 40 minutes before it closed and asked them to fix it. They said she went home already. Then I asked for a  refund and they said no she "already took the money and went home." They said to come in later and I kept explaining that I am from out of town. This place is gorgeous inside, and very very clean. I appreciate the complimentary glass of wine that is served (Although, no on ever carded me. I could be 12.. Fortunately I am not! )For some reason, I think they're adding to the salon because there are big huge boxes all over the place, making it look a bit cluttered.I came in for a Shellac manicure, and the technician I got seemed angry that I was there. She was rough with me the entire time, and cut my finger. The shellac job was mediocre,and not worth 30 dollars. However, the end made it even worse.The tech grabbed my hand and held it in the face of another employee, and whispered something in her language. Depends which nail technician you get, for example today I got my nails done and the lady was so so pushy about me getting shellac that it was peer pressure, after I said "no thanks" for the 4th time she got upset and annoyed that I didn't do it her way, and she ended up doing a half ass job and said since I didn't listen to her my nails won't last more than 3 days. She was rushing & cut me on two fingers that bled. She didn't put a base coat on but two heavy coats of color and a light top coat. I have a new favorite nail salon! This place really has it all. The price is pretty spot on - $40 and you get a long rub down, scrub, hot stones, paraffin and grand treatment. Many times places sort of skimp but no, these ladies take their time with you. You also get wine, a mimosa...soda...whatever you want. Story time, kiddos! So I received a $50 gift certificate for this place from my one of my besties *after* reading about all the reviews - seemingly escalating in negativity about the business. I didn't want to tell my dear friend that she got me a gift certificate to a place where it seemed like the service was going downhill, fast and without brakes. The reason she picked this place was because it was located in Happy Valley (around the area where we both live) and it was clean. She had her nails done here around the era where all the reviews pouring in were positive.Needless to say, I dreaded coming here to get a basic shellac manicure ($30). I have read a few reviews where fellow Yelpers reported inconsistent pricing - especially if the staff found out you had a gift certificate (prices would be higher, for no reason). So I played on the safe side and didn't mention having a gift certificate when booking an appointment for two shellac manicures (one for me and one for my other bestie that I wanted to spoil). There was no way I was going in there alone, haha! Anyways, here are the first impressions:1) Super clean - this resonates well with all the reviews that I have seen on here. Not only does the environment not reek of the usual acetone/chemical smell at your usual traditional Vietnamese-ran salon, they practice good hygiene by using new tools on your nails without charging you a $2 new nail kit like most salons.2) HUGE selection of shellac nail colors, I'm willing to bet this place has the largest selection in the whole Portland...and I have been to a lot of nail salons. 3) Staff looked miserable and there was a lot of back talk about customers. **I told my nail technician that I was Chinese and didn't understand Vietnamese but in fact, I understand both languages (HA! GOTCHA!) - just to see if she would say stuff about my friend and me to her colleague and guess what, she did. Mostly petty things but still unprofessional.When it came time to pay, I whipped out my gift certificate and cash in hand to pay $60. The nail technician looked absolutely shocked that I had a gift certificate, hastily gave me my change (we still tipped them decently), turned and walked away in a huff (no goodbyes or thank yous). Haha, wow. Even though this place is clean and super convenient, the service really threw me off. I've come here a couple of times with my friend; it's her fave. The place is clean, nice massage chairs for pedicures, you get a drink with your service (alcohol!), and a warm neck wrap. They've really put the extra touches in to make it a great experience. They're super fast, and sometimes they rush and/or I wish my service could last longer. I'd give them a 3.5-4 stars. Well, my mom went in to get a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure to treat herself and all of the other times we've been to a nail salon, our shellac has lasted at least two weeks. Funny how she came home the same day and two hours later it was chipped and one nail color completely peeled off. We then went back to have them fix it and ask why shellac would come off in less than three hours of leaving the salon. They just quickly "fixed " the nail and sent her on her way. I looked the next day and all of it was coming off again. We will never return here if this is what you get when you pay for a shellac. I am outraged. Getting your nails done is a spendy thing and so it just seemed like such a waste of money for such a bad manicure. Thanks for nothing. My mom never spoils herself and you gave her a crappy manicure.
