Walk in with my hubby and was going to get a pedicure done but decided not to cause the moment we both walked in we were not greeted and was give a stare so just walk out. Advice to people that want there medi and pedi done don’t do at the mall the there is to many customers and the people that work there is all about how many customers they can get instead of leaning how to greet and welcoming them. This is not a particularly respectable, upstanding, customer service oriented business. The employees exemplify the owner's personna which is  basically rude. Prim Nails gets an "F" for customer service. If you need your nails done at the Clackamas Center go to the Foxy nails near Penny's.  The DO exemplify customer service and get an "A" in my book. I received a gift certificate to this salon as a Christmas gift and I was very skeptical about using it as I had gone on google and read some of the reviews and they were horrible. HOWEVER, my personal experience was very pleasant. I went in, and they were not at all busy, I told them I had a certificate and chose my service and then my polish. They were not pushy, or rude, they simply served right away. I chose the Earth Spa Pedicure and it was great! The chairs were very comfortable and my technician even got me some water to drink before she started. Whole process lasted just about an hour, which I think it great for a pedicure. My technician wasn’t too talkative, asked me a few questions, mostly about how I wanted my toes and to make sure I was still doing okay. Great prices and quick service, which are both big pluses. I went in early without an appointment and they got me in promptly. The setup was strange though- myself and 1 other woman were seated immediately, without nail techs. Mine arrived first, and she had to put all of her stuff up and get her station ready while I sat there. The other woman waited longer, and another tech awkwardly sat a coffee right by her, making it appear it was for her, for her to later discover it was for the nail tech who hadn't arrived yet. The rest of my time went fine- my nails turned out great, and the price was one of the best I've ever paid for a shellac with designs on multiple nails. I would be weary of coming back here though unless I had an appointment with one of the friendlier staff like who I had, because the woman next to me got the short stick for sure. Her nail tech had reasons why she couldn't do 4 different designs (didn't have that color, didn't have that glitter, her nails were too short...), answered a phone call in the middle of doing her nails, and other awkwardness. With all the delays, though we'd arrived at the same time, when I left with my nails done, her nails were still only being shaped which seemed absurd. I'd have been extremely unhappy if I were her. I had some time to kill so I decided to get a pedicure at Prim. I walked in and I was seated in about 7.8 seconds. A nice lady came out and introduced herself as Tammy. This place is the worse nail salon I've ever been to. The lady cannot speak English at all ( I'm not a native speaker as well but I can't really understand her) she couldn't understand what I said and what I order for. She was really hard on my legs and my hands and not gentle at all! I told her to be more gentle but she cannot understand. I'm not the last customer walked into the door but because of her I'm the last one walked out. I felt like she can't see clear so she kept fixing the color on the nails' edge. Horrible customer service! I walked in a clearly stated that I was there for a full set and pedicure. As I was trying to sign in the clipboard was yanked away by a lady that I believe was just the mother of a nail tech saying she would finish the sign in process. I brushed it off and head over to pick my color. They instructed me to sit down for my pedicure first and Yen did a decent job. She's the only reason they are getting 2 stars. However after she is finish she tells me to wait. I must have waited about 30-45 minutes before the mother comes up and asks me, "so how are you going to pay?" I told her that I still needed a full set. Obviously she forgot but played it off like I didn't inform her of this. She then walks around asking if anyone had time to do my nails and no one did so instead of letting me know immediately she waits another 20 minutes only to come up and ask me to wait 20 more minutes. We had gone to another salon called iris nail salon. The lady we got did such a sloppy job (even after re-doing them 4 times). Went to prim and was a little nervous since we have yet to find a good salon. Was greeted instantly by what appeared to be a manager(?) We told her about our experience and she promised us a good job and they delivered. The lady we got was nice and hilarious. I didn't get her name but she took pride in her work. Job well done. She went above n beyond what a normal nail tech would do for just a simple polish. The manager(?) also checked up to make sure we were satisfied. Friendly yes, quality of service 0. I went in for a nail fill. The tech only filled the back grow out area and did nothing to the sides of my nails. She then tried arguing with me that a nail fill doesn't include the sides since she didn't do them the last time. She finally agreed to fill the sides but the whole experience took 2 hours. 2 HOURS FOR A FILL! I will never go back and I will never recommend them to anyone. I tried calling the next day to talk to the manager and for 2 hours the phone has been busy. I give up. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT QUALITY NAILS. Read Less

My friends and I scheduled an appointment for 10am and made sure they accepted credit cards before we came. Our pedicures were pleasant, short and sweet, but when it came time to pay their card machine was not working. We had to wait over an hour for them to fix it- they would not let us leave to walk around the mall or eat. They were not apologetic at all and when we asked if we could get a discount for waiting so long she said "No." and that was that. Terrible customer service and quite rude. Got an acrylic set done by Karen about 4 weeks ago now. My nails held up so well. I work at a dog boarding and grooming place and my hands are in the water and soap a lot and I use them all the time. The nail on my right pointer finger fell off today but the rest are still going strong! I was shocked I didn't expect them to hold up so well. Will definitely be coming back. Read Less

Staff was rude, the boss told me one price and the nail girl upped it "saying oh she doesn't do nails I do" she got glue and Acrylic all over my hand and did an awful job cleaning the bottom of the nail. I had a really good experience my first time coming here. I needed a nail removal and to get a new acrylic set as well and for all of that was only $30 which was such a good deal to me. Christina did my set and she was very gentle and detailed. Definitely will be coming back! Read Less

I took my daughter here to get her nails done for her 16th birthday she got the shellac done and I thought they did a great job. I went to get my very first mani/pedi for a very important occasion with my fiancé from Prim. I made an appointment with high hopes of a quality shellac manicure and pedicure that would last. I was checked in and walked back to the tub where I would be soaking my feet. It was my observation that they do not clean debris from tubs between clients and do not disinfect. There was skin and toe nail clippings in another tub that I was standing next to that was getting prepped for another woman. The nail tech rinsed the tub with plain water and started filling it. I saw no debris in my tub so I decided I would go ahead and continue services, since I was already there. I put my feet in the running tub and the water was way too hot. I know it's supposed to be hot to soak in but it scalded my foot. Not alright. She should have known. So I soak my feet and she starts scrubbing and clipping my nails and trimming cuticles. She CUT me on my cuticle and tried to hide it with a tissue! No sanitation was used where my blood had been, she was touching things with blood on her gloves and then applied a liquid in a bottle similar to polish with a brush. Blood contaminated the bottle which she borrowed from another tech and then put it BACK in her area instead of discarding it (all of the polished used on me were then put back on the shelf).I had to return 2 days later to have 2 nails fixed because of her error, which I made an appointment for. I traveled there and was told they didn't have time so I would have to come back!!I went back, and was finally able to have the same tech fix it (it was her mistake to fix). She was filing my big toe nail shellac off to redo it and she FILED into MY SKIN! I started bleeding again! I had bought my first pair of MK shoes (strappy sandal heel) and had a huge scab on my toe for our $$$ dinner date. I am NEVER letting anyone touch my nails again, I've invested in my own polishes! I emailed the owner about my experience and never heard back because my toe was infected. Go elsewhere to save yourself the pain and suffering due to to their negligence of sanitation and care for their paying customers. Read Less

While on vacation, I decided to get a pedicure at the mall. I walked in and was told about 5 mins, so I made a phone call and came back in, only to be told that it would actually be more like 30. When they were able to take me, the girl told me it would be an extra $2 unless I had my own file kit, which I of course did not. Horrible experience, the Vietnamese lady with thick drawn eyebrows and black rim glasses. don't exactly remember her name was doing my nails and was going way to fast, didn't cut my cuticles, put on a top coat and gave a very sloppy and short hand massage. she also charged 5 to remove one nail with previous shellac. All the nails formed bubbles underneath and became bumpy, photo attached are only a day after my manicure!! Super disappointed and never coming back, foxy nails is much better I promise! Read Less

My friend and I walked in thinking it was a cool looking place. I was really surprised at how quickly my lady was done with my pedicure.... No massage, just a quick lotion application. I walked out and got back home. Woke up the next morning and was missing nail paint on one of my toes! When I pay 30 bucks for a pedi, I expect it to stay on for a week at the least! I live in Beaverton and there was no way I was going back to Clackamas! Thankfully I had a similar color. Now it's just only been 5 days and one of my toes on the other foot has major wear. Overall not a great experience. Since they do walk-ins they should have a better judgement with time. Don't tell me 30 min and come back and ended being 1 hour...The quality of the service on my nails were mediocre. No attention to detail that much here. All the massaging sucks so I never even bother having massages. I would come here when I'm lazy to do my own manicures and pedicures and that its close to home. I was a bit skeptical going into here at first. One of the men that work here is not very friendly or talkative. When I walked in he asked what I wanted and after I answered just completely ignored me. So I sat and waited just a couple minutes. Tina waved me over for my simple manicure/pedicure. It was fantastic! I needed a day to relax and feel girly and she really contributed to that. She was nice to talk to and did my nails wonderfully. I heard one of the other ladies giving some young girls advice and I thought that was really cool too.
