This salon is clean and well kept. Service is pretty good and prices are reasonable. It's very "child friendly" which may be a good thing for some moms but can be a negative thing for someone who just wants a quiet, relaxing experience without loud kids running freely between stations. $$$ for very poor service. Customer service skills lacking. My nails look horrible, I didn’t realize until I got home how badly they were done. TAKE A CLOSE LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAVE! The bright light hides a lot. Got a fill and my daughter a shellac mani and the cost was $77!! Went home and had to file the sides down on my own. WILL NEVER GO BACK. I found passion nails on Facebook with amazing reviews and decided to give them a call and make a last minute appointment. I came in and and they sat me down fairly quickly. I wanted to try something new. I usually always get a full set with just nail polish over. This time I went for solar. I told her I wanted an ombré look with sparkles and jewels and to just go all out. Maria was my nail artist I showed her pictures of an idea that I wanted and she took it all and did just that! I have never been more stunned about my nails before. She really did an amazing job and communicated well with me. I paid $68 total and every penny was worth it. Quality over quantity.As I was getting my nails done women were walking through the door and the staff knew all their names and always made sure to welcome them in like they were their own. A woman next time even went on about how this was her favorite nail shop and she doesn't go anywhere else.The place itself a very clean and well put together, the staff are all very friendly and take care of all their guests and even children! I love that they had a special seat just for kids to get third little fingers and toes done too.  This will for now on be my go to nail shop. I appreciate that this salon is very clean and quiet and has a very extensive selection of colors and services to choose from. I called at 710pm too see if they could get me in and they said yes, the close at 8. There selection is amazing! The place was clean and inviting. It took about 2 hrs to get a full set but it was worth it. These are the best set of nail I have ever gotten. The tech. took her time and stayed 1.5 after they closed to finish never rushing or sniping steps. I even witness them redoing another customers nails because she wasn't happy at 920pm. Went to this lovely salon to get mani/pedi's with my mom prior to our trip to Hawaii. The ladies were so nice and friendly. We got solar polish in both our hands and feet. Our nails looked fantastic! It has been 3 weeks and the polish hasn't faded. Also I was able to message via Yelp and the Manager got back to me right away so I could set up an appointment for that evening. Terrible. I asked for coffin shaped acrylics and got a horrific attempt at coffin instead. Not a single nail matched, and along with that the paint job was messy and did'nt reach my cuticle. Now a few weeks later a nail comes off, and I find fungus growing on the nail. After all my nails were removed, there were two in total that had a fungal infection. I drove from Gresham to this nail salon. Best choice ever. The most choices I've ever seen of shellac and solar powder colors! I had a nail tech named Amy who was basically on her "working interview" who did an amazing job on my nails. I'm very picky about my nails and she did a great job. The place was very clean, and they do offer a complementary refreshment/beverage. They also had a very large and good selection of polish, shellac, and nail art.That being said I had a few things that I felt could have been done better.My friend and I had made an appointment for the both of us a few hours later and they didn't have the staff to fulfill the appointment. As for my nails I was left a little lack lusture. I had asked that my nails not be cut, but they were filled all the way down and the file is uneven. I've noticed that they are all slanted in one direction. I do like that the shellac is even and not puckering/bubbling. However, I got a glitter top coat and it's not even and some nails it's not even covering the whole nail. Lastly a few of my fingers had visable damage from work I did around the house and they were not treated gently/with care when cutting/pushing cuticles. They also used acetone on my fingers 4 times in the process making them dryer than when I came in. Overall my nails are fine, but it's not my favorite and not nearly the best mani I've had. Made an appointment for 2 people at 2pm... I assumed they knew I mean 2 people at the same time at 2pm. Started off weird when she just started doing my nails while I was still holding a nail polish color display in my lap. I finally realized what was happening and awkwardly moved it to the ground. When I was halfway done with my manicure, I finally asked if someone was gonna be available for my friend soon and she shortly said "yeah she's in traffic." My nail person was not very friendly, and I believe the only thing she really said to me was "how often do you get your nails done?" ...This was after she made the area around my ring finger bleed. Finished my manicure finally and she just started working on my friend. Glad we both get to be here twice as long now. Not. I felt like she was rushing the whole time (probably knowing no one was coming for my friend) I got a nude shellac manicure and she didn't even shape my nails all the same. Earlier this week I visited this location for the first time and absolutely fell in love with their service! The place was very clean and the nail technicians were all very kind and respectful. I came in to get some coffin shaped acrylic nails and they came out beautiful! The woman who worked on my acrylic nails was very gentle with my fingers (I've been to MANY salons in the Portland and Clackamas area where I've had throbbing finger tips for days due to the harshness) but my nail technician was very gentle and careful with my fingers. Her attention to detail was also spot on. I love this nail shop. Mary (the owner) the lady that does my nails does an awesome job. She does my nails better than anyone I've ever gone to. There are other workers there and they are really good too. I haven't had my nails done By anyone else but I've had pedicures and they do a great job. Very nice warm atmosphere. And very comfortable Spa chairs. They even offer beverages to drink. Soda, water, tea, coffee etc. They even serve wine if you would like. I was hesitant to pay 35.00 for a spa pedicure, because in the past I've had them done and they were not very impressive. I decided to give it a try and I am sooo glad that I did! I don't know the name of the young girl who provides my pedicure but it felt amazing and she was detailed and took her time. I was there about an hour and twenty minutes and got the full treatment and was not rushed. I actually fell asleep for a few minutes because I was so relaxed. Im definitely going to go back here and Im going to try to talk my husband into getting one with me. The hot rocks, sugar scrub, paraffin, foot mask, and massage time alone was worth it.
