The past 5 years I was living in Arizona and so moving back I needed to find a new nail tech. Found this one on yelp and decided to give it a try with the great reviews. I went to Hoa and I've been to her about a handful of times now and still continuing too. She is really good at what she does, she takes her time and she listens to everything I want. I really hate my nails thick so she makes them thin for me just the way I like, with the fair warning that they can break easily if I'm not gentle with my nails in which I understand. After she shapes, files and buff my nails she always lets me know the price I'm paying before she starts painting them. I like that they tell you how much everything is going to cost before the end. My nails are about $35 for acrylic fill w/coffin shaped nails. $30 for regular square fill but If you want special shapes it's an extra 5 dollars. Honestly that was a little bit of surprise to me cause I've never been someone where where they charge for the shape but honestly she's so good that I don't mind. Also if you want designs and all that other jazz then of course it'll cost you a little bit more but so worth it.Everyone is so nice there. They always know my name and my sisters, who I may add that hasn't gone there in forever, they remember them. The first time I walked in they told me I looked familiar  and asked if I was related to such and such and I was. That's amazing they remember people's faces even when they haven't been in for awhile. I've also seen Hoa husband Michael and he's great as well. This is an amazing place to get your nails done compared to all the other options you have around the area. When you walk in you are always greeted with a warm hello, you'll also notice how organized and clean they are which is amazing because every other nail salon ive been to has papers all over their desks, dust every where and the nail table filled with unnecessary things. File u Fancy has none of that.My nails are absolutely amazing! Michael did such a wonderful job, and he took his time too. They look like my natural nail except longer and stronger. He made sure every nail looked perfect as well as made sure that I loved them as well. They listen to the client, which other places never do! Extra Tip: Call atleast 6 hours or the day before you want to get your nails done, otherwise you might not get an appt. that day. They keep a very organized schedule because of how busy they are. Evon was able to get me in last minute- on a Thursday afternoon! She was so sweet and did a great job. It was nice and clean and there were so many nail color/types!! The owner served me a mimosa and thanked me for coming. It is over 2 weeks later and my nails have not lifted and I have gotten compliments every day. This place does such a good job, and takes great care of their customers! When I initially came in they were booked during the time I was available, so I made an appointment for the next day. When I came in the following day, they greeted me by name, and thanked me repeatedly for being willing to come back. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. They take the time to make every single customer feel special, and I never once felt rushed. Now for the manicure itself? That was fantastic! Never again. How are you going to charge $25 extra in top of a full set for "length?"I asked her not to paint my nails because I was in a hurry and she still charge me 65$ for a full set!They are not solar powder, they were not gel, they were basic acrylic nails.The lady said how she never saw this long of nails in 2 years! This is a lie. Or no one goes to you because you charge extra.The rest of the people seemed really nice and had good customer service but the woman I got would not talk to me and was incredibly slow. For some reason I felt guilty like I still had to leave a tip and I was only going to leave 5$ but I took a dollar off for each finger she cut while doing my nails. Went here for the first time a couple weeks ago. They got me in right away and gave me a free mimosa, off to a great start! I didn't catch the guy's name that did my pedicure, but it was hands down the best one I've ever had! He even took care of my ingrown toenail that had been bothering me for months! I've been going there for years! I specially love Hua! They are all so nice and very personal! I feel like Family when I go in there. I just wish they had a few more experienced nail techs to make appointments more convienent for my daughters work schedule. My daughter turned me and all of our friends and family on to this place. This is an awesome place to get your nails done! I walked in on a Saturday morning hoping for a pedicure. They were booked almost the whole day but they were nice enough to squeeze me in even got a shellac! The only stipulation was I had top wait about 20 minutes between the cleaning and putting the polish on but who cares! Between the awesome massage chairs and free mimosa I didn't have a care in the world! They were so sweet too! They continually apologized for me waiting! While I continually told them I was just ecstatic they were nice enough to squeeze me in! I absolutely love the color that I choose too! My toes are a little odd shaped but that's only because part of my big toe nail was fractured. Considering the shape it was in before they did am excellent job. I defiantly will be back! Read Less

They did a fabulous job on our nails. My daughter and I got the basic acrylics. The only reason I gave 4 stars is we had to wait a while even though we had an appointment. They were behind and we were there much later than we planned on. Otherwise, we absolutely love their work! Read Less

I've been going to this salon for years- I can't imagine trusting my nails to anyone else- it's the little things that make the difference- welcoming you by name when you walk in the door, offering something to drink and everyone is so happy and anxious to please you- Hoa does my nails and I love that she takes her time and is very much a perfectionist at her work- my nails look perfect every time and they last beautifully until my next visit- I've lived in Gresham 23 years and this salon, bar none and hands down, is the best all the way across the board!!
