I called ahead to schedule a full set and pedicure appointment. When I walked in I greeted everyone but the only ones who looked at me were the customers. I literally had to wait 5 minutes before anyone said anything to me. A man did my nails and I could tell he was annoyed by me because of the way he was acting. I hadn’t gotten my nails done in over 8yrs so it was hard to relax my hand and fingers and he kept jerking my wrist to let me know to relax, rather than say can you please relax. There was a nail shape template on the desks to choose what type of nail shape you wanted. I wanted the coffin/ballerina nails which weren’t on the template so I went with the square. As he was doing my nails, the girl next to me said she wanted the coffin and her nail tech had the nerve to say “yeah, coffin shape is better than square” which totally pissed me off because I figured they only did the shapes they have on the template. I've been to Bells several times and always have had a good experience. However, tonight - while I was getting a pedicure - I began thinking someone was smoking in the salon. I asked "is someone smoking in here?" to my nail tech. Come to find out, a cigarette had been lit and set in the "good luck area" (next to the Buddha) to literally just sit and smolder until the cigarette went out on its own. I was thoroughly disgusted. Love this place! I found Rosy, and will no longer let anyone touch my nails but her! She is amazing. This is ombré done with solar powder, the sparkle is shellac over solar powder. Speaking of shellac, they have an entire wall filled with 100+ colors. I also got a pedicure, it was amazing. $45 for at least an hour long pedicure. I've never been to a nail salon that offers what they do. They have different kits for different needs. Lavender, mango, jasmine, olive oil etc. in includes an amazing sugar scrub, mask, and lotion. This place is a gem! A little hole in a wall next to Indios Mexican restaurant. Upon first glance I was worried about the quality, but based on the reviews I decided to check them out! So glad I did!I got a pedicure and acrylic full set. The pedi was ok, I paid 37 for shellac on my toes. The water was cold, but I didn't tell them anything. It was borderline uncomfortable as I like my water to be warmer. I'm sure if I would have mentioned something they would have fixed It. I came in wanting ombré sole mails as others raved about, but the girl who usually does them was not there. I was nervous to get something new not knowing what he finish product will look like. I'm so glad that Quinn was available because he did an amazing job. First of all, I asked for coffin shape I have never went to a nail salon, in which the technician was as meticulous as he was. He really spent time on the shape and I was more than satisfied! I paid 58 and I was so pleased with the way they turned out. My nails look perfect, and the price was reasonable. Only issue (not even really an issue, just something a little different) was three different people were involved with doing my nails. One person started, then I switched to a different guy while the lady he was working on got her feet done, then I got switched to a third person when the other lady's pedi was finished. BEWARE!!! I had my nails done here two times! The first time I asked for a simple 2 color design I found on their website it took 2 hours and she charged me $72.00 this does not include the tip! I was shocked! I went back a second time and had a different nail tech do my nails. Another simple 2 color design I found on their website. It did not take as long this time but she charged me $62.00 not including tip. AND a week later I noticed my thumb nail was getting discolored under the solar nail. I removed the solar nail and now I have a gross nail fungus that I can not get rid of! Worst nail place ever! I really wish I can give this place a good rating considering the lady who did my nails (Lynn) was very nice to me, if a little hesitant to talk to me at first. This was my first and last experience at this location.My mom and I both made an appointment for just a manicure with regular nail polish. I usually like gel polish but for personal reasons needed something that I could remove easily later on. We entered, mentioned to one lady that we had an appointment, and were motioned to sit. A man rushes in who obviously works there, smelling really heavily of cigarette smoke, and chastised my mom that we were not allowed to just sit anywhere.He ended up working on my mother, and didn't ask her how she wanted her nails shaped. He was also very brusque and pretty much demanded her what color she wanted. When my mother lost her patience with his manners and became brusque to him in return, he was pretty much complaining about us in Vietnamese to his colleagues. I'm Asian as well, and also speak my parents' language, but try not to speak in another language in front of someone who doesn't because I find this rude and disrespectful. So this upset me. When we were deciding colors earlier before sitting down, I was asking him several times for a sample of the designs they did. He kept saying he doesn't do designs and I'll have to talk to one of their designers and pretty much ignoring my request for their samples. Lynn was very nice to me, but the nail polish they have was very thick and old, which she had also noted. She added thinner into it, but my nails ended up being very gunky and uneven. The topcoat they use is also very old and low quality, so not only were my nails now gunky, but they were also full of bubbles.  Everyone who sees my nails comment that my nails require a redo and that I shouldn't have paid for it.I hate writing such a negative review, and the positive ratings really astounded me after my experience.  Needless to say, I am never returning. I waited to do my review because I wanted to see if my nails would last... And after a week, they have! I am very pleased. I don't have the prettiest nails or hands to work with. My hands are small with chubby fingers, so hesitantly decided to get my nails done. I've gone to other places before, but I just wasn't quite satisfied. I didn't have an appointment, so I went in as a walk in client. They looked busy but they were able to immediately work on my acrylic full set. One of the gentlemen worked on my nails. He wasn't very talkative but when he did he spoke pleasantly. I was in and out but I thought he did a great job. For the first time, I'm not ripping off my nails within the first few days. This is my favorite nail salon. Since I've been going here everyone is more than pleasant and never has anything bad to say, on top of that their nail techs are amazing; Rosie does special interesting nail art, and the tech I've been going to, Hanna, is phenomenal. She has a great eye for detail and is more than willing to work with my picky needs, like nail shape, filing under the nails, tiny tid-bits that I want fixed, and never complains even though I must be a pest; doesn't see to waste her time or the customers if she doesn't do her best job each time, love it. The first person to ever do my nails where each hand matches the other, nail too!The whole salon staff are great too, I've seen them clean the heck out of tools and tubs when they're doing pedis, very sanitary for each customer!!! I reserved an appointment for my boyfriend and I at 3:30 appointment for 2 pedis. We had to wait 20 min before being seated because they let 2 girls they thought had an appointment go, and another 20 min in the chair. They claimed that we were inpatient while speaking to one another before starting on us. While working on us they talked about us in viet. I am Vietnamese and they did not know that, so they were talking about us in viet the whole time. Their job is to do nails and the lady talked about how nasty my bf toes are. pretty nice place i guess however they did not make it clear that i had to specify manicure acrylic for them to clip my hangnails and stuff like that. However what bothered be the most is how fat they made my nails. I got square and i have pretty small nails and they did not file down the sides at all so it almost looks like an inverted triangle. Also I made an appointment for 5:30 and they could not fit me in until 6:20 which i didn't mind because i was there with a friend but just something to keep in mind. A couple of my girl friends recommended this place because I haven't had my nails done in a while, but wanted to for my wedding. I get a classic French with a lot of white, so it's done with both pink and white powders instead of white tips. The gal kept trying to talk me into the white tips, and I kept declining. I know it's a process but it's to achieve the look I want. I also wanted square shape. The acrylic was so thick I had to ask the gal to thin them, not to mention getting rid of the "humps" where the acrylic met my cuticles making it more flush. When I came home, my husband (then, fiancé) wanted to see my nails. His exact response was, "What the f*ck?! Why are they so thick? I hope you didn't pay them." I was initially drawn here by all the great reviews of Rosie and the fact they offer chrome nails. My actual experience was not super. I will list pros and cons below, but one particular thing really stuck with me. The man that works there (owner?) is exceptionally worrisome. I did not have my service done by him, but he seemed to be involved in just about everyone's business. My nail tech and I were making small talk and I asked her how long she'd been doing this, she said 'two years'. The male coworker heard her and started screeching at her in vietnamese. She then quickly corrected 'more than 2 years'. This is just one example of him seemingly berating his co-workers while I was there. I know these types of nails salons are NOT the pinnacle of great labor practices or fair treatment, but this was the first time I left actually worrying about the women's safety who work there. Came here based on pretty good reviews. Spent about 40 minutes in just for basic acrylics with gel polish. It's been two days since I got the nails and I'm trying to get them off. As you can see in the picture the nails already look grown out, they are very very thick and rounded making them look very fake, much longer than I wanted and also the color needed a couple more coats because as soon as I'm in light you can see the streaks and uneven color. I'm a fan. I've been looking for a place closer to my home and made an appointment with Rosie based on a photo I'd seen of her work. I've only had the nails a few hours but I really appreciated that she listened to my request for thicker nails on the ends due to the work I do with my hands. She also added more color to the tips than the usual nails as well. So far so good, I'm hoping they hold up for two to three weeks. My usual place has been hit/miss lately, so I decided to venture out. I'm so glad I did!! Not a lot of places are open on Sundays, and I walked in about 45 minutes before closing, so I didn't request the person I'd planned to (based on Yelp reviews). Basically figured I'd be happy if they took me. I had to wait about 20 minutes (no biggie), then the girl got started. I don't want to say who it was because I'm a terrible person and don't want anyone taking up her time when I need her... :P But it turns out it was the girl I'd wanted to request!! (That's a big hint. Look at the pics if you care and are feeling detective-y.) She was fast but very meticulous, and my nails turned out perfect. (See pic. I know I need lotion, shut up.) I usually don't have the white curved up so much, but I was feeling dangerous.My only complaint, and the only reason I killed a star, is because I kinda felt like a needed a respirator to be in there. I know nail places smell, especially if someone is actively getting acrylics, but there was NO circulation in there and I felt it in my eyes and lungs the entire time. But again, great job! I would of been a new customer today.Made an appt hours in advanced.Gentleman who was scheduled to do my nails (and also the one I spoke to when I made appt)showed up 10min late with children in tow. He walked around, checked appt book, talked with kids(passing me several times)  and then finally spoke to me and asked what I wanted(blunt ,rude,no eye contact) An apoligy for being late would of been ideal but instead I just  told him id like a full set and without even sitting down he walked away once more. Few minutes pass and then a gal comes out and tells me I will need to wait while he takes kids back home.Meanehile 2 other plp walked in and got helped right away. This is the 3rd time I've been here. Each time I've called and made a same day appointment. They're friendly, but....can't say I'm THAT impressed with their abilities to do nails. Every time I've left and gone home I find a bump or bubble or a crooked nail.I've save this review to return for me last time. And I won't be going back. Never in my 10 plus years of getting my nails done have I ever ONCE got a nail fungus! I took my nails off that I got done here about three weeks ago and saw my nails and flipped! I don't remember the girls name who did them but she was a little bit older, might I add she didn't even do the color or shellac I picked out it was much more bright red than the dark wine red I had picked. The nail is my ring finger and I know for a fact it was because of this salon because I had previous nails on and had broken my ring finer nail and needed a new one. Absolutely disgusting! I've always wanted to get acrylic nails, so I decided to take the plunge! I searched Yelp and came upon Bell's Nails and saw the great reviews, so I called them up and booked an appointment.Upon arriving I was greeted warmly with smiles and "hellos" into a well lit and very clean salon. I was seated before Rosy who showed me a display of her work and boy, was I impressed. I showed her a picture of something similar I wanted and she was like, "Sure, no problem". She worked so fast and efficiently and chatted with me the whole time. The end results speak for themselves. They were a perfect shape and length and the design is fabulous. I was blown away by how beautiful they were. I can't wait to come back again, needless to say I'm addicted!I highly recommend this business to anyone as the technicians are fabulous to work with! They Are Honestly The Best Nail Place That I have Been To! I have given them a 5 out of 5 because the 100% Deserve it!  They all were very welcoming & they made me feel as comfortable as possible from the moment i walked thru the door, I was give a very comfortable seat & a Bottle of water. I am very particular about how my nails are treated and they did an outstanding job, they also wanted to make sure thru the whole process, if I truly like my nails & they paid attention to all of my requests, & when I showed them a picture of what I wanted they matched it as close as they possible could. I love this salon. They're my go-to for everything. Even when they're busy you're always greeted with a smile! Which is important, and rarely happens nowadays. Sometimes if I'm in a hurry I'll go to a different salon for a quick fill, but I'm never satisfied unless Bells does it. I will honestly go back to them and say "help me!"
