I had a wonderful experience here the first timeI came. This was the only place I found in town that did the dip nail polish! Easy to make an appointment, nice interior, and great location. The first time I got them done my nails lasted the expected 3 weeks, and then I slowly removed them myself. I went back a couple of weeks ago to get them done before a wedding by the same person, and I had huge chip, like half of the polish came off (pictured below) within 5 days. All my nails chipped so much and were so loose, I was able to peel it all off within 5 minutes after only having them done for 6 days which shouldn't happen :( (also pictured). I would have gone in to ask them to fix this, but I was out of state for the wedding and just wanted them done for this event which unfortunately did not happen. They were busier and seemed more rushed the last time I went due to a staff who did not come in so I'm Not sure if this had something to do with it.Really disappointed about how they turned out this time- may check around to see if other salons do these type of nails the next time I want to get them done. Fantastic gel manicure experience with Karleigh! Not only did she give me an awesome manicure, but she's also really personable and made the experience a lot of fun! Treated my stepmom, 3 year daughter and I to pedicures for Mother's Day. I'm pregnant and it was my daughters first pedicure so it was suppose to be an awesome day. I made the appointments 2 weeks in advance and doubled checked that we were getting what we wanted. I asked if they could accommodate extra massage (pregnant swollen feet) and for the little, I wanted her to have the full treatment. Soak, massage, trim, file, polish. I also made sure that this is what we were getting when they called to confirm the appointments. Of course I assumed it would take less time for my daughters treatment on her little feet and that was ok but when we got there, whole different story. We had 2 people working on the 3 of us. All my daughter got was a short soak, trim on her big toes and polish, all before my stepmom and I were even started on. So much for relaxing. I was worried she was going to be so bored while waiting for us and this was suppose to be a fun experience for her. Luckily she entertained herself and of course my massage was mediocre and too short so I guess that helped since I had my 3 year old bored out of her mind. Also, the polish job was poorly done. I've been going to this salon for a great many years.  The prices are comparable and sometimes less than most salons I have been to.  While my nails aren't always perfect when I get acrylic, they are darn close, and they are happy to fix what I point out.  Also, the staff has always treated me really well!I recently came for a pedicure, and as expected, had a perfect experience.  It was toward the end of the day (after work) and the place was hoppin!  They were ready for me and my friend (who was a few minutes late) upon my arrival.  Daylan did my pedicure and he made sure that my water was nice and warm the whole time (he did so for my girlfriend too).  He was extremely gentle with my incredibly ticklish feet.  But the best part... his massage was out of this world.  By far the best experience with a pedicure I have EVER had.  My toes looked perfect; not a speck of polish out of place, everything was even and smooth.  He even joined in the conversation with my friend when he heard she was pregnant (about the joys of parenthood).  It was a great experience for us both.  Daylan is an excellant employee; if you want the best experience, you should absolutely ask for him by name!  The cost is pretty standard too; paid $30 for a 45 minute relaxing experience. I have been going to Jenny for about a year. I always get an acrylic set with gel polish. Her attention to detail is fantastic! And the staff is friendly. The establishment is always clean, bright and inviting. They also offer cold water and coffee. I Highly recommend Jenny! Read Less

Overall, I've received nice manicures and pedicures from here. However, the male that works here often makes suggestive and inappropriate comments to his clients. I've experienced this personally multiple times and I've witnessed it happen with others. I went to French Nails yesterday and had a wonderful Gel nails manicure with Daylan.  He is very friendly and makes you feel appreciated.  His wife has the station next to him yet they don't chit chat while working.  The shop itself could use a clean up but to give them the benefit of the doubt I was the last customer of the day.   I would definitely go back . Will not be coming back. Walking out of this place with my feet feeling dirtier than walking in and my nail polish lasted less than a month. The guy who gave me my pedicure made very awkward long conversation, interrupted conversation several times between my roommate and I and complemented my shorts while he was giving me a pedicure (super uncomfortable). I found the owner very judgmental and rude.......................one of the gals that did my nails long ago over priced me and I felt it was due to the fact the owner always gave me bad vibe when I walked in.........I gave it a good try....thinking maybe it was me being over sensitive,  then I realized it was not.............I do know know this lady, either of them.  Or the man.   also a woman told me to be careful with some of the girls there when I was waiting,    which I thought was odd.  I chose not to go there, because of the energy in this place.  I am paying for a service, not to be family.  If I feel stressed going through any doors of a business that is my heart telling me it is not the right place for me.    REMEMBER THIS IS JUST ABOUT ME,   there are lots of people there and so she must do a good job for others.............they are still in business and I wish them well.   I have no time for this.  I shop where I am comfortable. I went to French Nails last night for a manicure, that is all I wanted with clear nail polish.  First, the lady seemed aggravated that I only wanted clear polish.  I then received the worse cursory manicure I have ever gotten. It was almost as if she was just making the motions of the manicure without really doing anything.  I think I am done with French Nails.  :( Read Less

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT; they aren't quite staffed to reliably serve walk-ins.  $30 for a basic pedicure is just pushing into the pricy zone for me, but the jury is out on how well it lasts--if I'm set for the month then I'll be reasonably pleased.  I do think that my cuticles could look a bit better, but am willing to let that go if the polish stands up.  The most surprising thing was the fully 15-min leg and foot massage; I never received that so thoroughly before and it felt GREAT!The setting was nice enough:  certainly not the fanciest nor the most divey salon I've ever been in.  And as was pointed out earlier:  the pedi chairs are back away from the smelly chemicals, and it's a bit hard to find - tucked into the middle of the mall.  All said, neither the best nor the worst salon I've been in, and if it lasts, I'd probably go back.UPDATE:  am demoting from four to three stars because the polish didn't last as well as I would like (maybe because they don't use light to "cure" the topcoat?).   A really good pedi can last a month without touch-ups--at just over two weeks, I'm in desperate need for another.  Will try another salon this time. Let me sum it up: if there was an option for no stars, I would certainly be giving this salon that rating.Unfortunately, I was gravely disappointed. I came here with my mother only to receive poor service and horrendous treatment.I asked for stiletto nails, and I ended up with uneven, mis-shapen, bubbly, and visibly lumpy nails. The woman (I assume the owner because she was telling the receptionist what to charge) did my nails so fast that she cut me with the nail drill. Not to mention she tried to charge me a price that 1. did not coincide with what was listed on the price list but 2. when asked, could not explain why it was so high and claimed it was for services that were added on that I was not asked about nor did I approve.I was charged 42 dollars for the application of uneven almond tips, a lumpy gel base topped with a simple nail-polish and clear coat. (I didn't even get the typical acrylic powder on my nails!! it was a plain, normal china glaze nail polish). I was so frustrated at that point that I did not ask the woman to fix my nails because she was in an argument with my mom about prices.Needless to say, the pricing was awful, the service was worse, but the lack of honesty was by far was the most frustrating. I got a full set of acrylic nails done yesterday, although they turned out great, it was completely over priced. They completely took advantage of me and added on a bunch of features without asking me. I got ripped off and paid double than what I normally do for the same service at other salons. I'm directionally challenged and struggled to find this place, but I had no trouble once I called and received concise directions. Park near Euphoria Chocolate in Oakway Center to find the strip mall entrance, in which you'll journey to this little gem. Okay, it's more a diamond in the rough, but at least it sparkles. Bad news first: If you're hankering for high-end salon luxury, you'll have better luck elsewhere. No frills and thrills here. I felt rushed while choosing my colors, and the language barrier prevented any kind of fun, Legally Blond-like bonding experience with my manicurist...or any conversation, really. But in terms of my priorities as a college student, this spa NAILED it. Service, although lacking conversationally, was extremely efficient. Within 40 minutes, I was homeward bound, my once tragic nails now nicely shaped and radiating with a shiny teal blue gel polish that should last at least two weeks, and my wallet only $27 lighter. My chaotic cuticles are cured, and I've already received several compliments on the color.One of my best (ahem, cheapest!) nail endeavors in Eugene, hands down. Read Less
