Was in Eugene needing a haircut. Walked by this salon in a beautiful Victorian house, went in and was greeted by one if the owners, Kim, who not only gave me the best haircut of my life, but also a great scalp massage and some cool conversation.  I'd recommend Bel Ami for a great guy hair experience! I have been so happy with my salon experience at Bel Ami! I have been going there since they opened and couldn't be happier and have been working with Cindy before that. I show up to my appointments with only a lose idea of what I want. They are always great with working with me to solidify what I am looking for. It comes out better than I could have come up with on my own! They have also been accommodating when it comes to quick bang trims to keep my hair looking good between appointments. I have gone to both Kim and Cindy for different services and have always been very satisfied. They have such lovely personal touches and I feel comfortable and at home in this boutique salon. I would not recommend this place at all. I got my hair cut and colored by a woman named Kim. At first I had high hopes because a friend recommended her to me. Kim was friendly and  initially greeted us with coffee. Not only did Kim charge 40$ more than the original estimate, but my hair didn't turn out remotely close to the three photos that I brought her. I brought a friend with me to help explain what I wanted. I wanted an ombre, however all she did was color correct some of my roots and DARKENED my hair (I have natural dark hair). My ends were not lightened AT ALL (not even a slight ombre). Over the phone I gave her the length of my hair and explained that I was going to be lightening my hair. She gave me an estimate of 140$ but ended up charging me 180$. I called back the following day to ask her for a partial refund because my hair didn't look anything like the photos I showed her. She refused to even correct some of the harsh color "correcting" she did. Kim did not have any professional integrity. If you choose to get your hair done at Bel Ami, just ask for anyone but Kim unless you enjoy wasting your money and time. This was the worst salon experience I have ever had. Read Less
