I just had my Nails Done at the Venice nail bar this afternoon. Giving it one star is me being generous! I went with my aunt, it was her bday gift too me and I was so so disappointed. Right when we walked in, the atmosphere was so negative, unwelcoming. The man was very unfriendly. The woman who did my Nails, I'm sorry didn't speak any English at all! She cut me so many times, pretty much every finger was bleeding. She didn't apologize or anything. They didn't massage our han...ds or really pay any attention or spend any time. When she painted my Nails, it was so unbelievably sloppy, it was like I did it myself pretty much. There was nail polish all over my fingers, she missed spots on my Nails then when I pointed it out she only tried to go over that one spot, which left a noticeable difference in my nail. It was horrible. Then a man came he heard me complaijn to my aunt, after I had tried to tell the woman numerous times what to fix. The man told the woman. All she did was remove the excess nail polish from my fingers it was over all a very bad experience. 15 dollars for a regular manicure that I could of done for free at home, but I go to get my Nails Done by "professionals" so they they don't look like i did them at home. I will never go to this establishment ever again. They have a lot they need to work on. Especially customer skills. So negative, rude, short and just unwelcoming. Just had a pedicure there. It was absolutely horrible! That was no "spa" pedi. I basically paid $30 to have my toes painted badly! So badly in fact I'm going to have to redo them. Reading through these reviews the owners obviously don't care enough to change anything. I'm not sure how they are even still in business. I walked in on a whim. No appointment. The lady did an awesome job. I got regular acrylic with white tips. She was very detail oriented and did a perfect job filing. I am super happy with this experience. I went to ultra nails last time And they did a sloppy job, so I am happy I tried Happy Nails! Read Less

Went there to relax with friends before my first baby comes! Such a great relaxing time! I got the Caribbean pedicure and it was amazing! We all got to sit together during our pedicures and they gave me a water bottle as well. They also have SO many gel colors to choose from. They have matching sets for your fingers and toes as well! The gentleman that helped me was extremely rude and refused to even listen to the shape I wanted and insisted that I was wrong and it wasn't a real shape. The shape I wanted was a semi-long, narrow nail with square corners. I've gotten this shape for years from various nail artists. I tried to explain to him that it's kind of a short coffin shape. My nails are currently not the same size and some are crooked. I felt he treated me as if I was a child and had no idea what I was talking about even though I've been getting my nails done for many years. Avoid like the plague. The woman did my pedi and leg waxing. Cut my heel. Adequate pedi. Not much of a massage. Also, the absolute worst set up for waxing; the table bangs into the wall?? Friday morning I walked in to get my nails done. I was the first person there and only one for a while. I got acrylic nails with black gel nail polish. Same day when I got home the black gel polish was all over my hand and it was already peeling off on a couple nails. Not happy, and I live about 30 minutes away so it's not easy going back to fix it. Nothing "spa like" about the pedicure, pretty much a nail trim and polish change for $27. Kept asking for warm water apparently their hot water heater only provides tepid water! Customer service dismal at best! So rude! Read Less

Love this nail salon! Being in the spa industry myself, I am very particular with sanitation, professionalism and quality. Venice nails is clean, the employees are professional and the quality is great for a reasonable price. Julie is my favorite technician! Her massage is perfect, she takes her time and my toes always look great. I never feel uncomfortable or worry she is going to injure me when using any of the nail tools. You are also offered a water bottle during your service and I love that they provide a customer loyalty card. Great job Venice nails! Read Less

They are fine I guess for basic stuff. The argued every request I made. Tried to tell me the color I picked wouldn't work, couldn't or wouldn't do a simple fade. I'm going to have to find a different place in Dallas. Read Less

A friend of mine recommended Venice Nails Bar to me. I enjoyed my first experience there for a gel manicure and a pedicure! The salon is very clean and unique with the nail bar set up! I am THE pickiest pedicure person EVER! Today after reading review after review raving about Venice I decided to give it a shot. First let me say, I walked in at 4:45, 15 mins before closing, and they took me no questiI had the lavendar spa pedicure, It was expensive at $55 for 60 min pedicure, but was worth every penny! I have been having my nails done here for years!  I have never had any issues with my nails and have never even lost a nail.  I know that he isn't always personable to walk-ins but I wouldn't give up the experience and quality of work that I receive!  Won't go anywhere else! Read Less

I wasn't even greeted as I waked in the door. All I needed was a quick eyebrow wax and the man just said "we don't have time." He didn't even make any sort of eye contact with me. I went in for a simple acrylic fill and to have one nail repaired because the woman I usually go to in Salem was out sick. The man (owner) was rude from the beginning. I asked if he could do gel polish, which is what I usually get, and he told me no, no one does that anymore and if I was worried about chipping I should just buy the polish from him and fix it. I wish I had left then. While doing my nails he spent more time jerking my arm around, swatting my hands  and complaining that  I was holding my hands wrong than he did fixing my nails. He then asked me if I had arthritis and if that was why I held my hands the way I did. I have been getting my nails done for years and have never been told I am difficult to manicure because of the way I hold my hands. I really hope he reads this and realizes that women get our nails done as a way of pampering and treating ourselves and his behavior completely ruined the experience and was extremely uncomfortable.
