Used to come here for acrylics. Started going to another salon for SNS Dipping Powder, but recently haven't been pleased with their work. Started calling around to see what salons do the SNS and discovered that my old salon did them. Couldn't be happier. Basically was a walk in and was done within the hour - other salon would have taken at least an hour and a half, and then the cost was ten dollars less! I literally always just walk in and get a full set of acrylics with little to no wait. They do the basic nails perfectly. They can handle coffin shape, stilleto, almond, all that, but some stuff, like stamps, they won't have. To get a full set of acrylics for 35, you can't really expect them to keep all those tools in stock.  My manicure is almost always flawless. This place used to be a great place to go for your nails, but they changed management in May 2017 and now this place is absolutely terrible.I got a white tip full set and a pedicure. Both were a nightmare.I asked for a white base coat on my toes with a gold glitter over the top. The job was so incredibly sloppy that I was embarrassed to have the polish on my feet and immediately went to another salon to have it replaced.The white tip set began lifting within 24 hours, and had lifted to the MIDDLE of my nail within a week and a half! I've been getting acrylics for years and have NEVER seen that amount of lifting before. I went to get a fill at a different place and they told me they would have to completely remove the set because the gel that the Nail and Spa Center had used was so low quality that it would continue to lift even with a higher quality fill.I tried to give them a second chance and went back for another pedicure and had another terrible experience. I absolutely do not recommend this location and think that the new management do not hold up to the standards that the old owners did. Read Less

Went in with my girlfriend so she could get a manicure while I do a pedicure. My pedicure went good but my girlfriends manicure went bad. The guy doing her nails made them extra thick and cut her finger. He passed it off saying "it was a new file, I sanitized the cut already" and still charged us full price. We brought it our own nail kits because we do our nails quite often and he used his own file which cut her. Even after arguing the point he said "if you not happy I can take off the nail" I kept repeating how does that fix the cut? His only solution was to take off the nail and said "I'm not giving refund". We will never go to this place again, there are other better options in Corvallis. Read Less

Very unhappy with the nail job they did. I went in and asked for acrylic with gel nail polish with a coffin shape. First when filing my nails he made a deep cut into my cuticle and blamed it on being a new file. He attempted to glue my cut but the seal kept breaking and continued to bleed. Then I had asked him to file the nails down because they were really thick and uneven to where one side of the nail would be thicker than the other but he said no because of the shape they couldn't be thinned out (mind you they were pretty darn thick). Regardless of shape, no nail should be uneven. When asked again to fix it since it was more noticeable with the nail polish, he refused (I also posted a picture to show what I'm talking about). He did not take the time to make sure the fake nail was the right size so how I have nails that are smaller than my actual nail. Not only with unhappy nails, but a cut on my finger as well no compromise was made. I will never go back to this place again. Read Less

I really loved my nails! The guy who did them was thorough and made sure I got what I asked! I shopped around and this is the best deal in Corvallis.I took off two stars because the lady who did my brows totally butchered them. Review written by my wife:Sorry it's long, but relevant. I came in last week for a combination acrylic and gel French manicure. I've had it done other places, but they looked at me like I was crazy for asking. You're supposed to thin out the acrylic a little more so that when u out the gel on, it's not too thick. They didn't. So my nails turned out to be so thick I can barely use them.  Not to mention, he used the wrong tips (too small) so there were these huge gaps in between my nail and the tip. Totally open to dirt and bacteria and even mold to get in.  I pointed it out and he just filled it with nail glue, but did not even do a good job at that. I was very frustrated. Their door said they were open til 8, so after my manicure I asked for a polish change on my toes (French manicure style to match my hands) and they said "come back tomorrow, we're closed."  It was only 7.  I said I was going on vacation to New Orleans and leaving at 2am, so I couldn't come back tomorrow, so I asked if they knew of any other salon still open. He said "fine I do your toes."  He went so quick and hurried, they look awful. I left frustrated, and if I hadn't been going on vacation, I would've gone back the next day for a fix. One week away in NOLA, my nails were filled with gunk. I obviously showered every day, and I washed my hands and nails WITH A TOOTHBRUSH multiple times a day and the "gunk" still wouldn't come out!! It was disgusting. So I went back to get them fixed when I got home, and all he did was file them and put more nail glue in them!! I asked for new tips, and he said "come back in week, we file and add more glue."  So now, they're even THICKER, filled with glue, and still dirty!  I'm furious. 20 years of getting nails done, this is the worst job I've ever had. I have been going to this nail salon for over a year, Lina and Kyle are very nice. My nails look amazing every time I leave and I get many compliments on them. If she is busy, she gives me the option of waiting or coming back at another time. I have taken my mom, my sister, my daughter and even my husband for a pedicure. I love this place. Read Less

Worst customer service ive ever experienced. The lady that looks like she runs it is horrible. She was rude to me the first time i went for acrylics but i decided to give them a second chance. I called to see if they do eyebrow waxing she said yes and hung up on me. I walked over there walked in and she asked the girls after me how she could help them. I stood there waiting for a few minutes and finally she acknowledged me. I asked to get an eyebrow wax, all she said was "shes too busy" and turned to help someone else. No apology, no time frame to come back just ignored me. I understand when businesses are busy. They usually ask me to come back at a certain time and i have no problem with that but to just disregard my business is absurd. So rude and rest assured i will never go again or refer anyone to them. I love this nail salon. After moving from Seattle to Corvallis I wasn't sure I would find a good nail salon.  I tried a few before hearing about Nails and Spa and thank goodness I took the recommendation and booked an appointment. Wow! What a surprise, the least expensive pedicure in Corvallis, turns out to be the best! I got a same day appointment, arrived on time, waited an unheard of 5 min! The polish selection is incredible, I had a hard time deciding. My technician was friendly, took his time and did an amazing job.The salon was clean and didn't have that awful chemical smell of many. I went here before my wedding to get my nails done up and relax with a pedicure, my Maid of Honor came with me too. I loved the massage chairs at the pedicure stations. I got a full set of acrylics and they did a great job on my nails! I did go in a few weeks later to get them taken off, and the tech started ripping them off, which wasn't so nice, but it got the job done...Overall it was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. Went on a Saturday evening around 5pm. Service was quick and everything looked clean and sanitized. I got a solar full set, French tip, for $36. It took around 30-40mins, and the nail technician really listened to my wants (I like my nails short and thin, more natural looking). Overall, the service was great and I loved how my nails turned out. Bonus- My nails aren't sore vs. previous times when I have gotten them from different places and they were sore for a few days. I went in for a gel manicure and ended up coming out worse for wear.  This salon is one that obviously values quickness over quality. The nail prep was improper (i.e. sawing motions when filing, which can cause nail layer peeling, and quick,  careless cuticle nipping that ended up cutting into my flesh causing a little bleeding). Gel base coat was not applied, and the tech tried to short me by only applying 2, semi opaque coats, polish got on my fingers and the lines are nowhere near crisp,  plus improper application of topcoat made my polish look mottled and pock marked. On top of my own experience, I noticed that the tech next to me did NOT properly clean and sanitize his station and equipment between clients. The lack of attention to detail, quality of work, and general uncleanness means I won't be coming back. Read Less

I've been here a few times now and they do an amazing job on my acrylics every time.  The two guys who work there are my favorite they do such a wonderful job. They listen to what you want and I'm always satisfied. Their student discount is pretty good too, $25 for a full set and $15 for a fill! The only thing is that they are a little slow, I made an appointment and still waited past the appointment time by 20 minutes. Read Less

Just got back from my pedicure ... it was amazing !! The staff is friendly and in my opinion, this staff actually had pretty good English skills !! :-) They currently have a discount because it just opened -- so my 25 pedicure cost 22 instead ! I don't know how long this discount will last but it was a nice surprise.  I would recommend this place to someone who is looking for a manicure/pedicure etc.  The place is very clean and their pedicure utensils are fresh/safe/clean.  If you have a pedicire packet (for scrub,  nail file etc) you could probably bring it, but it seems like they didn't charge me for mine,  and if they did - it wasn't much to notice a price difference.
