The fastest and worst pedicure I've ever had! Don't waste your time or money here. I needed a Spa pedicure as they advertise and we made an appointment for 3 people. They were not organized and we could not figure out if they were even going to do the pedicures. Didn't even ask us to pick a color & told us we wanted pink. Ugh! They turned the water on high and walked away. When we said it was too hot they turned on cold and we had cold for the rest of the time. They did not clean my heels they still have cracked skin. She just barely rubbed it for a few seconds. I think the leg massage was about 2 minutes and they barely touched any of our legs. I said we wanted the wax with our pedicures...she had no idea and wanted to wax my eyebrows. Really....most places are trying to upsale but these people took every shortcut. About $45 for 20 minutes and afterwards I can't even walk because I got a cramp in my foot. Awful service!! Read Less

The services are very cheap, which might have been a sign when I went here to get a pedicure. There were a few red flags during my treatment. I made an appointment for 2 pm and when I showed up there was a line of people getting pedicures, okay whatever its a Holiday, sometimes you gotta just treat yourself. I was seated shortly after I arrived and put my feet in the water that was in the bath. When I looked down, there was a toenail swimming in the water, but alas I journeyed on. the technician made quick work of removing the nail polish, and shaping my toenails. She trimmed them very short on the sides (I have square toes and she shaped them for round toes) and she clipped and removed the side of my left toenail. It was painful, but I thought "you don't do this for a living, maybe that's just a thing they do." Next came the removal of my callouses, she offered a razor, I declined and opted for the pumice stone. It was really worn, like used a bunch of times before it had met my foot. She buffed my heels and then rinsed it in my foot water and put it back on the stand. I should have been worried earlier, but now I was worried. That cannot be sanitary or up to health code. The rest of pedicure was relatively normal, except that I got booted out of my seat since there were so many people waiting. When I got home my toe was sore, and the next working it was sore, red, and hot to the touch. Thankfully I was able to clean it and put some neosporin on it and that seemed to help. I've been going to Z Nails for years and find myself surprised at some of the reviews. Cleanliness is very important to me and I have never found an issue with them not being clean. Sometimes you have to wait when you've made an appointment (never very long)  but that's because they are always so busy ... I find that to be a good sign. Love the people that work there, they are so nice and accommodating. I would recommend this business to anyone as I have had such great success in having my toes and nails done there....priced well. Oh my lord I absolutely hate getting my nails done because every time I go I have the worst experiences no matter where I go. It might be that I am a young blond 18 year old girl that makes these nail ladies so ridiculously rude. The first couple times I came here I thought it was great! Close to my house, my nails came out beautiful and they were cheap. I would small talk with the girl doing my nails about her day and I asked how how long she's been doing nails for and just having a chipper time. But then GOD FORBID I pointed out that one of my nails were crooked or I asked if she could round out the tips a little so I didn't have fricken dagger talons. I might as well have insulted her great ancestors because after that she was always so violent with her tools and throwing my hands around, a couple times I left with bleeding cuticles because she would press her file so hard into them. She stopped asking me if I liked the shape or if I wanted them shorter and just was overall displeased to have me that I just stopped trying to small talk and only talked with her in regards to my nails. Last time I went she did my nails so poorly that the lengths were all different and at least 3 were so crooked I could have went fishing with my bare hands. Came in to get s pedicure and shellac .pedicure was great until I noticed that when she was painting my nails she painted on all over my cuticles....who does that? I could have asked my 5 year old and he could have done a better job .So I told her my concerns and she looks at me with a dumb stare like she has no idea what I was talking about. Was a bit timid to do my shellac since I do white nail polish . I asked her if she was comfortable to do white and she said yes. I'm giving 2 stars because my nails actually look ok, and the massage chair was awesome. But the pedicure itself was just a very short waste of time. 20 minutes is not enough time for a pedicure. Especially on Mother's Day! Will not make the mistake of going here twice. Read Less

My experiences has always been good but my 2 most recent visits, I saw someone I've never seen before. I believe she's newer than the rest. I wanted pink shellac with white French tip and instead she gave me white French tip with very light pink coating because "I didn't tell her and it's too late." Worst nail experience ever. Two friends and myself had struck out at a few other places and gave this place a try against our better judgement. The lady didn't cover my entire nail in acrylic and was rude and told me she wouldn't fix it. She then walked away to the back room. We asked the other lady working to fix it and she did put more acrylic but didn't file it or put a clear coat over it when she was done. The place was also cluttered but after sitting down and looking around it was also dirty. Two of us were tired and didn't have our files and just assumed they'd charge us a dollar for new ones at the end, and they didn't. Hopefully we don't get nail fungus. I called around town looking for a reasonably priced pedicure that actually had availability considering everywhere is packed on the weekends. My sister and I came in and they greeted us Instantly, it only took a few minutes to get seated into our comfy massage chairs for our pedicure. My water was a little cold but I didn't want to say anything because I'm too nice but you know what, two of them checked in with me to make sure and I told them. So I stopped here on a whim with one of my girlfriends and I really wanted to like this place because it's close to my house. The owner was very friendly and the girls working were also nice but that cannot make up for how my toes look. I got their most expensive pedicure which was only $33. It was supposed to come with a callus treatment but she never put any on. She actually use one of those razors which I know is illegal to use now. When she first started right away she cut way too deep into my ingrown and now my toes are misshapen. I've always had square toes and she made them very round. The clear coat was sloppily applied and I could see it seeping onto my cuticleThis is just my opinion, but I do believe they reuse the toe separators and the heel pumice stone on everyone. I had asked to take my pumice stone so I could upkeep my heels in the shower and she said that because they're heavy duty they are not disposable. But I don't know any pumice stone that you should be sharing. I cannot say that I will be returning here due to the unsanitary practices. Read Less

I've been here before for a eye brow wax and have gotten my nails done. But I went for an eye brow wax just recently and they burned my face. It's been a day since the wax and I still can't leave my house. It looks so bad.  She asked me of my face was sensitive after she waxed my eyebrows. I've been here a few times and I've never been truly satisfied with the nail job I walk out with, I only return because it's in my neighborhood. What made me want to write this review was my experience a little while back. It was the day of winter formal at the local high school and although I wasn't attending I still wanted my nails done which was a horrible idea. The salon was filled with girls who needed nails AND toes done therefore everyone was rushing. In my defense, I was there before the rush of girls came in so I should've gotten a decent job right? But no, my acrylics weren't even attached to the end of my nails, so it was as if I had two nails on each finger, one on top of the other and anything that was a little goopy that I touched would get stuck in the gap. Aside from the gaping nails, the shape was just horrifying. I ask for a squoval shape but instead got the fanning out square with round edges. I immediately took them off within the next two days because they were just so ugly and inconvenient. If you're look for a good nail job like acrylics, I would not recommend this place but if you just get shellac done, they won't mess that up. Read Less

This place was horrendous. Yesterday's trip was the third time I've been to this salon, and it is definitely my last. Let me begin with how horrendously DIRTY this place is. I've noticed before, cringed and bit my tongue; yesterday, however... I was told to go ahead and let my feet soak as I waited for my technician (Kim, the owner) to finish up with her last client. No big deal, I was ready to relax and read my book. However, as I approached my seat, I literally saw old toenail clippings and other nasty floating things (like... The skin junk of whoever's callouses came before mine?!) and I couldn't NOT say anything. I told Kim, "This water looks dirty... Has the bowl been cleaned after the last person?" And she ignored me. I said it again and she looked at the water and said "Oh it is fine!"... Ok.She was rough, rushed, and talked to one of her coworkers MUCH more and louder than any technician I've ever had... Ever. And it was clear they were talking about me; they didn't make any attempt to hide it. They would chatter, pause, look at me- my hair, my face, my clothes, and resume talking, nodding and continuing to stare and talk. I've never felt so uncomfortable while getting a pedicure and manicure. She was rough and ignored me completely when I tried to interrupt her talking with her colleague to tell her what color I wanted, because she began to pull out the color she liked... What the heck? I tried to say something about five times; the ladies around me getting work done all looked at me as if to say "wow... this is ridiculous, I'm sorry".Shitty technical service. Poor attitudes and customer service. Never coming back. I threw away $54 yesterday. OH, and I'm never charged the same price, despite always getting the same service. I love this salon. They do a good job of making the place nice and keeping you entertained. They're always busy but fully staffed. Because they're fully staffed there will be someone who specializes in what you want. And I like their pedicure stations.I go to Annie for an excellent shellac, I have also had my nails done by Kelly and would again.They take appointments and walk-ins. I never feel like they're talking about the customers like I do at other salons. This is a big reason that keeps me coming back. They're all really nice. Read Less
