I needed my nails done before I could make an appointment where I usually go. The sign says pedicure was only $25 and the cheapest was actually $30. It says fill is $15 and I ended up paying $30. The lady didn't shape one of my nails, she jerked my hand away when I tried to look at them, I asked her to make it straight and she just handed me the file and told me to do them myself. She finished my nails in the pedicure chair in barely any light so she missed parts of my nail and painted my skin. Once my toes were dry I started to go for my shoes and the lady forceibly made me put on their flip flops. The next day I had bruises on my feet from the pedicure, but that was the least of my worries. Three days after getting my nails done the polished started to peel and chip and there was bubbles in the polish. My friends turned out pretty but I will not return here. I came in when I was around 8 months pregnant, so needless to say, very uncomfortable...they treated me with such care that they have seriously made a customer for life out of me! They gave me an extra long massage on my hands and feet which was greatly appreciated and provided me with warm towels to help me relax. I'm so conflicted about this business. Sometimes my experience is good and others it's not. They have an amazing color selection when it actually comes out of the bottle looking the same, part of the reason I come back. However I shouldn't feel shamed for wanting longer nails in the first place when I'm made to pay extra for them anyway (which I might add, I ALWAYS do feel shamed). This time was truly disappointing however. For comparison (see two pictures above) I asked for a slightly shorter length than my deep blue nails the last time. This is what I left with: sloppily done coral polish that was sheer after three coats, way shorter than what I asked for (and I pointed exactly where I wanted them cut) and for those that may ask, my appointment was at 10:45 for a new solar set and I didn't leave until 1:15. Unfortunately I had other things to do and felt it would be inappropriate to cause any kind of scene in front of all the other guests there. I would never go back to this place.I honestly have been going to my same nail shop for over 10yrs, I recently moved out here to the area so I decided to try a new place "Nail V Angel" to be exact. And let me tell you.... bedsides being the most expensive place I have ever gone to, their quality of work was the most poor I've experienced. I was highly disappointed!!!! I've had my natural nails for several years now and have just been getting powder and gel on them, my nails were long already and thanks to making the mistake of going to this place now they look disgusting and have all broken! The powder and gel started cracking and parts were stuck to my nails, so that instantly broke my nails and made them bleed. I'm so sad! Thought I would warn everyone who chooses to go here! So disappointed in this place. The reviews made it seem like the perfect place to go. My daughter and I selected the most expensive pedicure ($50) because it was "the works". Supposed to remove calluses, long massage, etc. Well, the "massage" was long but all they did was rub lotion, no pressure or any real massage to it. My feet still have cracks ands calluses. Selected a shellac polish which I knew was $10 more, found out when I paid it was actually $20 more because it was a special polish. This pedicure was NOT worth $70. If I could give no stars I would. I literally just had the worst experience with them. I needed my acrylics taken off but the girl I had spoke no English. She cut me so many times and didn't do the correct color. My friend was with me and had a horrible experience as well. They cut her and messed up in the color. I've been looking for a nail salon that would do a fantastic job at stiletto nails, and after viewing the reviews and photos, I decided to set up an appointment. I got a full set while my boyfriend had a pedicure to pass time while waiting for me. I've had some awful nail experiences in the past, such as technicians being too rough/cutting me, or bumpy manicures, but luckily none of this was the case here. My technician was extremely friendly. I'm not a very talkative person, but I appreciated her kind, casual conversation. The nail booths were basically like a bar/table of four seats together, which may not be preferred for some people, but I actually really enjoyed the set up. The girl seated next to me asked me some questions about what I was having done, something I've never experienced at a nail salon, but I found it fun and really enjoyed the atmosphere in this salon. My boyfriend stated his pedicure was great, and that his technician was incredibly sweet. All in all, my nails were $45 due to the length, and my boyfriend's pedicure was $35 (with all the options offered). I definitely plan to return here and would recommend it! Read Less

This place was nice! I don't like that we needed cash but oh well. The atmosphere was lovely and the prices were average. The woman did a phenomenal job on my nails though! She nicked my skin, got shellac everywhere, got it too thick, the acrylic nails too short and I came out with an awful color (the first color was orange so she just put a gold glitter over it... but the edges are still orange). What a major disappointment! Holidaying from Perth on a girly weekender we pre booked to ensure the four of us could be treated together. On arrival it was evident this was not going to happen and we were in line for a 3 plus hour wait. Prebooking acrylic nails seemed to be pretty straight forward however the first of us ended up with badly gel coated nails and told that there were customers after us and that they wouldn't fit us in. Good nails for the price. My nails have always held up the two weeks between fills, and the service is really great. My favorite thing about this place is even though they do accept walk ins they are honest with how long the wait will be and don't start on the new walk in nails until the client they are sitting with. This is my new favorite nail salon in Clackamas/Happy Valley area. I've gone to some crappy nail salons in this town so I know what I don't want. But this place is wonderful. The husband and wife that own the salon are so kind and always go above and beyond. They're are always yummy snacks here too ha. Asian crackers yesss! I am happy and not disappointed every time I come here. Also they wax my eyebrows for 8 bucks where my other place is 20! First, let me say that I am extremely picky with my nails. Since I moved up to the PNW from CA I have been searching for a great nail place and I found it. Lee did an incredible job. I had a fairly detailed request for the design on my full set and she took her time and made sure it was exactly how I wanted it. This was also probably the best pedicure I have ever had. Even with the basic pedicure I got an incredible message and was completely pampered. She also added a cute flower detail to my big toe with a cute pink rhinestone. I could not be more happy. Terrible service. Had pedicare and polish. My polish started chipping off in the first day, then more everyday. Went back and spoke to Manager and she agreed that should not happen and booked me in for a biosculpt appt. Due to unforseen circumstances we had to move accommodation at the time of my appt and in all the moving looking after 2 1/2 year old I forgot my appt and husband mentioned it that night. I rang next day and to reschedule or get refund. Lady initially said bus...y but then said Mel manager could do it a 2.30pm. So I was ready for 2.30pm and then received a text saying no appt available come and see manager at 3pm.I then had to explain the whole thing to Manager who had seen my nails a few days earlier and at that time had said they should not chip so early. She then said that no one would have booked me in for 2.30pm as there were no appts. I said I spoke to one of your staff they made the appt. It was in their system as they text me to cancel appt. I then said look if u are too busy I understand I can just get a refund. The manager flatly refused. I have never had such bad service in a beauty salon. I understand that I missed my appt for a redo but it wasn't deliberate. They had offered another time then cancelled that. I thought businesses try to work things out with their customers well not this business MBEAUTY. all I asked for was a $40 refund and the answer was no. Bad service news travels fast. They will learn. I grew up in dunsborough know a lot of people in local accommodation and local businesses. I also always have a lot of friends from all over the world asking me about recommendations in Dunsborough because I grew up here and visit regularly. I have pretty high standards when it comes to beauty and nails. I almost always leave a nail salon not completely satisfied with the results. This time though, I left feeling 100% satisfied with the results! Tina did an amazing job on my full set acrylic nails with shellac on top. She paid very close attention to details and took her time. In the past, I've had a couple bad experiences with coffin/ballerina shaped nails but Tina was able to shape my nails exactly the way I wanted them to look! Mel is amazing. I feel extremely comfortable with her and at the salon in general. The Youngblood mineral make-up is worth every cent. It lasts for months, and no matter where my tan is at, blends in naturally. I rarely experience outbursts of acne due to its light compound and protection against sun. I will never use another product for foundation again. I strongly recommend purchasing makeup and a quick guide on how to apply from this establishment.
