I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Trish and the girls at Vivid are so lovely and care a lot that their customers are happy. This morning I, completely my own fault, chose the wrong colour nail to match a dress for a special occasion. The girls removed my gel polish and re-did it for me, squeezing me in even though they were really busy and it was my silly self who was being difficult! I felt terrible but everyone was so lovely about it and made it feel like it wasn’t too much trouble. The is the WORST nail salon I have ever been to. My sister and I had appts at 4pm for the dip powder nails. I was not seen until 5:30pm. The only reason I stayed was because they had already half way soaked off my previous dip powder and it would of been embarrassing to go to my event with my nails half on. The lady who did my nails, I believe she was the owner tried to talk us out of doing the dip powder and only doing one layer with shellac on top. The shape she did my nails was nice but I told her they seemed really thing as you could bend them. This is why I do the dip powder because I like they strength and look. My son and I went here for the first time on a Saturday with an appointment. They had me wait 20 min even with an appointment. The delux pedicure (hot stones, paraffin wax, clip&cut nails, skin scrub and salt scrub) (women have that and nail color) for women and men is $35 for men $55 for women. They cut my nails with a clipper and the gel French tip looks great. I was asked if I liked the white line before finalizing the gel. I've always hated it when shops don't put pricing somewhere for customers to see. The ladies are very nice and there is a English accent woman in the front if you have issues she is very nice as well. They do accept walk ins. I DID NOT LIKE that they used a cheese grater on my heal that was not only unusual but creepy. They also cleaned the chair while I was still in it, I guess that effective but....... Read Less

I have been going here for about a year now.  Lena is the lady I have for my pedicures.  She always does a great job.  The polish lasts a long time and she gets my heel calluses off.The shop could use a bit of a face lift, but Lena told me that they will be remodeling soon.If there are a lot of customers, they tend to rush.  I try to go early to attempt to solve this issue.I kind of wish they would offer water or tea, like some of the other salons do. This is the WORST nail salon I have ever been to. Both my manicure and pedicure were awful. There were 2 different ladies that helped me and they both were terrible. It took only 45 minutes for a deluxe pedi and mani? It is because they did things in a hurry and even cleaned the pedi spa with me still in the chair! They don't even cut your toenails with normal clippers they just use the tool to cut cuticles which made my toenails uneven. Very unprofessional. A child could have done better. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I had my nails done (buff, shape, and polish - $12) for my birthday. Usually, my nail polish chips within two days, however it has been four days and they are still perfect, and I think they will last a week or longer. It wasn't just a coat or two of polish, but included a base coat, two coats of the base colour, a coat of glitter, a top coat, and then something magical from a spray can. I did have quite a lot of bubbling, but it may have been from the glitter coat and is not noticeable due to the glitter. I would come here again. It seemed relatively hygenic. Read Less

I hate this place. Started 7 years ago when I stopped by for an eyebrow wax and they butchered them. I have nice not too thin not too thick eyebrows but needed a clean up. They thinned it down so bad my then boyfriend spoke up on my behalf. Over the years when I have had to get my nails done they have done an awful job. Last time I went to them to take my gel nail polish off the attendant didn't let my finger soak in remover but as soon as she finished wrapping the last finger went back to the first and started scraping the polish off. She ruined my nails and I almost threw up at the tugging/scraping she was doing (I have never felt this immediate reflex to someone taking off shellac). Hate this place. Read Less

This was my first visit to this nail salon. My young daughter and I frequently get manis and pedis for mommy daughter time. All of the three employees that were working here were less than welcoming to my young daughter and I. She is a very well behaved 5 year old, and they actually YELLED at her when she attempted to sit in a chair next to mine. I would have left at that very moment but I didn't want to give them the satisfaction of leaving. Have never experienced anything like it. At this point I don't care what my pedicure looks like...giving them 1 star for horrific customer service! Will not be back, unfortunate because this is so close to my home:(Update: still not too happy about the unfriendly welcome however, they warmed up to us and we're nice to my daughter after our long wait and our pedicures were pretty decent. So I went to this shop today for my first time and I got my eye brows waxed, the pregnant lady that helped me took off my skin on both sides of my eyes and left open wounds on my face. When I told her I was unhappy multiple times, she giggled and told me to cover it up with make up, and that I'm fine. I'm clearly not fine if I'm leaving a place with open gashes in my face and in pain, I understand redness and irritation after getting waxed but this is an issue. I almost started bawling my eyes out right there because of how my face looks. I suggest you find employees that know what they're doing and also know how to problem solve. She didn't say sorry once or offer me my money back.  I recommend not spending your money here, I'll try posting a picture. On top of that when I got there she gave me no time to pick my color for my nails and she kept trying to choose for me so I'd hurry and multiple times kept asking me if I'm ready, they weren't busy and all she was going was sitting on her phone before and after. MICHELLE! ASK FOR MICHELLE! She is amazing, I don't know how or why she is so good, but my nails look exactly how I need them done every time! If I see something I wan her to fix as she goes, she is always sweet about it and polite unlike other salons. I have to take a extra 20 minutes just to get to her from my new home rather than go to the places down the road from my house because it's worth it. Won't ever change salons unless she starts working at a new one. Only negative is I wish they did punch cards.... I've spent alot of money there it'd be nice to get some discounts eventually. This place is the best nail salon I have ever been to.. on one occasion I stopped by after a long day of work, wanting to get a mani pedi.. I hadn't realized that they were about 20 min from closing. but the very kind lady said it was okay and told me she would stay open and do my service for me. she was so friendly and we held good conversation through out the whole visit. made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. the quality of her work was AMAZING, and I couldn't find one thing to complain about if I wanted to. the services were very affordable, especially for the high quality of work. which was nice, making it possible for me to leave her a generous, well deserved tip! my color lasted what seemed to be longer than normal, never chipping or peeling off. the shellac was definitely worth the extra couple bucks. today I made the mistake of visiting a different salon closer to my house..  It's hard to fully explain just how unhappy and disappointed I was upon leaving with such a crappy mani-pedi! I will never make the mistake of going to anywhere else besides "Angels Nails" again! after taking the time to write a brutally honest review for "Sunrise Nails ((the salon I will never return to again))" off of Highland Drive & Powell in Gresham, I felt compelled to write an equally honest review for "Angels Nails"..the place I wish I had gone to instead!! LOVE this place.  All the people who work here are very friendly, they do a great job and have LOTS of colors to chose from.  They also will do designs and have color changing polish that I haven't seen anywhere else.  When I bring my young daughter, they paint her nails for about 5 bucks while i'm getting mine done and they don't charge extra for designs on hers.They do a great job and the prices are very good... about $25 for a gel mani.
