Had a set put on and i looked like I had five inch thick clubbed nails. The acrylic powder they applied was done horribly I felt like I had weights on my fingers that's how heavy they ended up being. On top of that I asked for French manicure and even though I said I wanted thin white tips they made them so thick looking it made it look like I had short stumpy nails with an inch length white tip. Amazing service, wait time was not very long. Staff was nice, funny and very welcoming. Very clean and organized. The walls look very nice and the environment is very laid back. I called and scheduled my appointment for a solar full set. When I arrived I was promptly greeted and situated. The salon is very nice inside, and CLEAN. When I selected my style and color my nail technician laughed at me and said "all you girls are the same, always getting the same thing" okay whatever I laughed it off, sure of my choice. I mentioned I wanting coffin shaped nails that were on the shorter side. She once again laughed in my face, and said "Why? It's not like you young girls do anything" Not like it matters.. but I do in fact live a very active lifestyle, gym, hikes, a year old pit, and working full time, etc.!It just made me uncomfortable that she just wanted to undermine me in her slight remarks without knowing me.. a PAYING customer. That being said my nails were cute, great shape, and length! She did leave some nails feeling pretty sore unfortunately, and left globs of of the acrylic behind 2 nails. New to the area, decided to try Luxe since it's close to my place.  Wow, have not had such a thorough and well done mani-pedi ever.  From the complimentary drinks (mimosas???  yeesh) to the warm wax foot treatment, everything was top shelf.  Both feet and hands got base coat and top coat in addition to the polish.  Highly recommend this salon. The staff is so sweet and caring. They remembered my grandmother after 5 months from when she came in and took very good care of her on her visit. I regularly come in for my solar nails and have always received superb service. They really do a fantastic job on top of it all. The staff here is lovely and their pedicure almost put us to sleep as it was so relaxing! We also loved the unique colors of polish available. The only "downside" was that the massage chairs had a mind of their own.  Will definitely be back! Read Less

I love Luxe! The owners are amazing and have amazing staff! I've been going to Helen for years. She never disappoints. Some of the reviews are comical and stupid and should be ignored if you're thinking about going to Luxe. Let them prove to you why they are so amazing! You don't like the smell... um HELLO it's a nail salon it's expected. It's like going to get your hair done and not liking the smell of someone getting a perm. They also serve complimentary drinks which is nice but don't be upset if they forget to ask. I was looking for a new salon closer to my house. When I walked in, I stopped got a business card and walked out. They were nice enough and greeted me immediately. The floors were clean BUT the stink was awful. No ventilation. I can't personally sit in a closed room with fumes that are known to be hazardous. When they care enough about their customers to improve the air quality get and use an air cleaner, I'll look into them again. I woke up and was in a serious need to get a manicure and pedicure. I called at 10AM to see if they had time for me and they did! I got Tammy and let me start off by saying she was absolutely wonderful! She was gentle with my feet and hands and she gives a really wonderful foot and leg massage. She also is a perfectionist (which is what you need in a nail technician). She was super sweet and took great care of me the entire time. I decided to try out this place since it's close to my home and it looked newly renovated in the recent times I had driven past. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the two sisters who owned the salon used to work at the place I always get my nails done! They have always done a great job when they've done my nails in the past. This salon was very clean, modern, and they had great nail technicians there. Priced moderately but worth every penny! I called on a Friday and was able to come in immediately. I was greeted when I walked in and they remembered me from the phone call which was comforting, everyone was really nice. I was directed to a seat then offered a drink and received a ice water in a wine glass, I felt fancy.I got a simple white shellac pedicure in addition to getting the previous pedicure removed as well. By the way there was a great selection of shellac colors. Anyways Josie worked on my pedicure and she was really nice and gentle. It shocked me I had a hangnail and I didn't feel any pressure from the nail while she did that.  Overall it was great, normally I spend $45 and this was $35, I recommend this for sure and I will be back. Personaly, this is where I always go. Two sisters own it  I usually have them do my nails every time. They are amazing! Every 2 week fill they look awesome again and the shape & color is everything I want it to be eveeytime. I recommend going here and making appointment with Lynn or her sister. So, I came here nervous because I had a horrible experience down the street and hadn't had a pedi since. Well, my experience was so fantastic that I brought my sister-in-law back two weeks later for a birthday pedi. From the moment you walk everyone makes you feel welcome. It's a clean, organized space with wonderful chairs for pedis. Kim did my pedi both times and I very highly recommend her. What I really liked was they don't hesitate to ask you to come back if they're too busy instead of cramming you in and rushing your experience. Everyone is very friendly and smiling.
