My technician, MAY, did an amazing job on my hair! My hair was super dry and damaged from bleaching. I haven't had a real haircut in over 5 years and though I loved the length, it looked really unhealthy. MAY kept as much length in my hair as she could, gave it long layers, and now there's life in my hair again! It feels light on my head, the volume is back, there's texture, looks shiny and smooth, and overall, I couldn't be any happier! She was very professional and took her time to examine my hair before the cut, and after the cut, she made sure everything was even and went back in to make sure my ends didn't look choppy. I have been coming to May for two years now for lashes, shellac manicures, and haircuts. She always does a fantastic job and never over charges. She is super flexible when you need a last minute appointment. She has become a friend - she cuts my kids hair and knows them by name! I loved and enjoyed the services i got from Casey, however, she was not the problem. I do not mind the other ladies speaking in another language to each other, it was how loud they were speaking. One of the ladies was blow drying her client's hair while shouting to the younger lady who appeared to be doing someone else's nails. It became very hard to talk to Casey, we could barely hear each other and we were across from each other. It lasted about a good 15 minutes. I got my pedicure and gel nails filled by Casey, she did an amazing job. The service was not rushed at all. She took her time and she is very detailed. I don't require much being a guy but I follow May where ever she goes because she is really good and reasonably priced.  Whether I have my hair short in the summer for motorcycle riding or a little longer in the winter she always does a meticulous, even cut & trim.  The BIG bonus for me is when she shampoos & conditions my hair...OMG her hands are amazing!  I love her hair washings as she does a great job massaging my scalp, even my temples and forehead -- so relaxing!  Book her after you're done with work if you can as it's a pretty good way to wind down.She also blow-dries your hair and will even add product to your hair if you wish so you'll have some swagger as you walk out the door.Remember, ask for "May" and accept no substitute, LOL! I've been seeing May every month for eyelash extensions since April 2015. I have never had a problem and have, no exaggeration, sent 10+ friends to her who all continue to see her as well. Even right before I need a fill I have people complimenting my lashes! I also do gel manicures and they always last my about as long as my lashes!! BIG FAT ZERO!Twice I've made appointments with this business and twice there were no-shows. The first time, the nail tech "decided to take a longer vacation" and didn't bother to tell my friend and I who made these appointments weeks ago. Then giving the business the benefit of the doubt, I made a hair appointment. 20 minutes later, no "May" but the 3 other employees lounging on the massage chairs said she knew she had an appointment and knew I was there. I have now seen May 4 or so times along with my roommate and her mother who have been going to Dep Beauty Bar for the better part of a year. May always does an amazing job and is very friendly! I highly recommend this place. May was able to take out an awful perm I had gotten somewhere else, and has done my nails and eyebrows multiple times; she has done a wonderful job every time. What a fabulous experience! Trish did my Shellac Mani & Pedi and did a great job. The polish was even and shiny and there were a lot of colors to choose from. I had a Groupon which cost $17 for the Shellac Mani (usually $30) and the pedi was $40+tip. So not bad pricing either for what you get. Read Less

I definitely would not recommend getting your lashes here. Poor customer service. My lashes looked terrible and the girl was almost 35 min late for my appointment and rush because she's was late, her next customer after me was late too. Trust me...don't go! Read Less

First time I went here I bought a groupon for a mani, and the owner offered me to buy another one for the future directly thru her instead of Groupon for the same price. However, I lost the receipt and today she refused to honor it. So I bought another Groupon deal and she refused to honor that too because it was my second time here. So whatever, I paid full price. Got mani and pedi which was very slow but a pretty good job. Then I got my haircut by the owner. I requested a simple A-line cut with bangs, but instead received a bubble cut that is all fringed around my face making me look like a bobble head. It will take me 3 months to grow it out long enough so I can have it reshaped properly. Needless to say, I wont be back. Read Less

I highly recommend Dep - I have been going to Tammy Do for years for hair cut and color, solar nails, lashes, pedicures and brows. I have been loyal to Tammy because I think she is uniquely skilled, detail oriented and artistic, especially with my dark asian hair. She always has great ideas and taste when it comes to changing hair styles and colors, and I always received many many compliments on my hair. I also receive many compliments on my lashes as they look very natural, and are long lasting. May has also done my lashes and nails, and she is lovely and does a wonderful job as well. I've been around the corner so many times for coffee at Ava, boba at Mo Cha, and even Korean food at Du Kuh Bee, but never have I seen a beauty salon over here.Thanks to the boyfriend, he had me pampered at his aunt's shop (this one). We were there for a handful of hours but I definitely loved the result. Now, I'm not over exaggerating or anything but I have been to so many hair salons and each time my hair has always come out unsatisfying. I was really nervous coming in here because I decided to forgo my goal of growing out my hair to get a cute A-line bob cut for the first time. I trusted my boyfriend's aunt and the results were amazing. I love the look, we also dyed my hair back to blonde (as an asian, I absolutely dread dark/black hair). Tammy also had her hair blonde, pink on top, and crimped. She gave me ideas about wanting to color and crimp my hair haha! She's so sweet and nice. We moved to Vancouver a few weeks ago but definitely worth the drive to Beaverton    to get my hair did. She also has nail stations and I got my nails refreshed with some light purple sparkles. I wasn't going to write a review because the woman who was the real problem was not the woman who usually does eyelash extensions, but as I sit here sick, I realized it's a matter of hygiene, and that's important. When I arrived for my appointment, the woman who does eyelash extensions was still cutting someone's hair, so someone else told me she would be starting my extensions. She put the tape under my eyes, and her hands smelled so strongly of cigarettes, I had to hold my breath every time she came near my face. There is no way she could have washed her hands after smoking. She then spent a couple of minutes digging through something looking for the lashes to put on me, and would occasionally throw something onto the table, hitting me in the shoulder. This was particularly jarring since I COULDN'T OPEN MY EYES. How about you find the lashes before you essentially tape my eyes shut?? As she started putting my lashes on, it was as if she didn't realize my nose was attached to an actual face. She would just smash my nose with her hand and arm while applying lashes (I was still holding my breath because of the cigarette stench). The worst part thought was that the whole time she was sniffling, she stopped to sneeze once, and as soon as she switched out with the usual eyelash woman, she walked out of the room hacking and blowing her nose. She was touching MY EYES while sick and having clearly not washed her hands after smoking. And of course, 3 days later, I went down with a cold. Absolutely not hygienic. And to top it all off, the lashes look cheap and fake. They are just too shiny and plastic looking. I will be sticking with the places I know use silk lashes. Read Less
