This is the ONLY nail salon I will go to. It is by far the best in Yukon. It is so clean, the staff is great, the atmosphere is so wonderful! I like to stay there as long as possible. Used to be my favorite place - but it’s gone way downhill since they opened the new location. Sloppy job the last few times I’ve been, and the people there now are rude and act like they are doing me a favor by allowing my presence. I’ll be looking for another place to go from now on. It took forever for them to get started on my nails. They took me back and started on the nails of my best friend, but made me wait 15 minutes until they started mine. And then she left a hideous mark on my thumb nail. I paid for a dip and tip set, so it was not cheap to begin with. I attempted to leave a small tip on my card, but told her to cancel that and I handed her cash for the tip. The next morning I woke up to find that they still charged my card for the card tip as well. Do not go here! I’m not coming back. Today was my first visit to shangri la and I was very pleased with my manicure and pedicure. My technician was Chi and she was very meticulous about shaping and polishing my nails and it shows because they turned out fabulous. The salon is very clean and nicely decorated. I wanted to love this place. I did the first few times. I brought several people with me and recommended them a lot.  The last time I came in the man who did my nails (Dustin I believe was his name)  told me I didn't want a design when I asked for it and just went on with his plan of only paintings toes. I again asked for a design on my ring fingers and he again told me you don't want a design. I asked if he knew how to do them or if I needed to get someone else. He said no, I can do anything. He didn't do a design on my fingers or my toes. He also clipped the decoration of my sandals when he saw a wire hanging out and I told him to just tuck it in that was holding my shoe design on and he didn't listen. He clipped the cord which caused my sandal decor to fall off. He also took my ankle bracelet, which was my daughters first necklace off my leg and kept it. I called back after paying and leaving to see if they had it and to tell a manager about my experience. I spoke with Jessica who promised to have me see the best nail girl they had (no name given) and that they would not only cover my next visit with a design but would also give me a gift certificate for the next time to make up for the shoes he ruined. I went in today with my daughter and we had a great experience getting our nails done. The problem came when they refused to honor their word of covering my pedicure and nails today as well as the gift certificate for next time. They tried to take the gift certificate out of my hands and yelled at me repeatedly saying that would be stupid to pay for it twice. I explained one was for the disaster of my nails which didn't even stay on from last time and the other was to make up for my brand new shoes they ruined. I asked them to please get Jessica on the phone to verify. They spoke in another language and said that was not true. They refused to honor their word and told me there will not be a next time that I wouldn't be coming back there and to give them back the certificate.  They yelled at me as I left the salon with 4 of my children present. I knew I should have made them give me both certificates when I went back to claim my bracelet. I trusted her too much. She wrote down my name and number when I went up there and shook my hand apologizing and promising to take care of me the next two times. I really love this place! Full service pedicures for $35  you also get a snack basket with a beverage and Chex mix snacks. Staff is friendly and they do a good job!There was a solicitor that came in, selling home-baked goods and I prefer that not to happen when I'm relaxing during my pedi or mani. We had an incredible experience here before going on vacation.  Three adults, two children, matching gel toes with pineapples for a beach trip.  The drinks and service were great.  Some pineapples were better than others, but tiny art on toes is hard!  I will drive back to Yukon to go here again.  Excellent experience and fair prices. This use to be my go to nail salon. Super clean and amazing service. As they have got busy the service has continued to decline. Last time in was for a pedicure. Did not clean up my nails/cuticles and there were multiple spots that they missed polish also didnt seal the nail to prevent chipping and give a polished look. My mom had gel manicure same day. I am never disappointed with my visits to Shangri La!Whether I am getting a mani or a pedi or both, I know I'm always in good hands! And they do Dip for your nails! It's so great! I went just before my vacation. I got the spa pedicure and relaxed into it. Then as the lotion message started the man doing my nails was disgusted with the callous on my feet. They were still rough no excess skin was removed. I was embarrassed and had no time to stay to get them fixed, even if I could get past my embarrassment to ask for a fix. In short poor job. It was my first and last time to go. Service was horrible, the girl doing my pedicure did not explain how the chair worked or spoke to me. It was so packed and someone said it's always like this. They are all about quantity not quality. My pedicure was 11 min from the time I sat down till the time I left. This is my new favorite nail salon. I have come here now a couple times and loved the service each time. You get more for your buck for the manicures and pedicures! No wait time. I forgot to ask my artist for her name but she did a great job. I got black stiletto nails and she did an awesome job shaping them, and wasn't rough at all. The place is clean, a small snack basket is given at the beginning of your service. The remote is very intricate to work, and it may take a couple of visits to find the program your like. I enjoyed the massage during my pedi...the best so far. I'm 5 days out and my pedi still looks good. My gel mani started peeling off on day 4. Do you think it should be fixed? I do. Today I visited Shangri La for the first time. I have seen this place multiple times and always just disregarded it as a tiny, no good nail shop. The second I walked in I was greeted multiple times. I could see it was pretty busy as well.I got a full set with regular color for $25! I have only been to one other nail salon in Yukon/OKC and I already never want to go back there. I love Shangri! The best nail salon I have found with great prices. The gel color wall is huge! So many options! The colors did get mixed up for my mother once. Maybe too many options? No!  They serve you drinks and chex mix while waiting.The chairs are amazing for pedicures! You also get a mini massage at the end. Depends on the nail tech although. They also do waxing. It's so hit or miss here. I've now gone 5 times. Yes 5 and got waxing and nail services. I swear every time with my nails im disappointed. They do fast work and don't even make sure nails are same length. This last time was deal breaker for me. They are expensive and then within 4 days 2 nails broke.
