. Grotesque! Went in to have a simple pedicure. The woman sitting next to me was started before I. The technician reached into the drawer of tools and began working on her feet with the SAME TOOLS that had been used on the previous client. Another tech came to start on me and reached into the drawer of the workstation and pulled out a "STERILE" bag that was not even sealed. I was reluctant to say anything at the moment. The pedicure proceeded with the tech seeming as if she realllllly would rather be doing ANNNNYTHING other than providing services to me ,the customer. After the woman sitting next to me was finished and went to dry her nail polish the tech took the tools and slid them back into a STERILE package and put them back in the drawer with the other so called sterile packages. As I went to pay I inquired of tech if "the tools are sterilized after every use" and she couldn't speak English. I was overheard by a male tech that did speak English and I told him what I observed and he basically blew off my concerns. Will not be going back there again. Read Less

Ask for Tee!! I have been getting acrylic nails for 15 years and no one has ever blown me away with their work until today. Tee did an amazing job. Before she put the polish on they looked natural. They literally looked like they could have been my own natural nails. I was impressed. I will be going to Tee for all my fills and new sets in the future. The salon was clean and upscale atmosphere. My initial experience was not so great as I apparently got a tech that was not enthused about her job, she is no longer there now. When the owner heard about my experience with her, he made it right. I had a mani/pedi done and he re-did them free of charge and took his time, including massage. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I've been to Rio Nails 3 times after trying other Nail Salons in the mall. This one is good, my best experience was with the young lady with the tattoo on her back. She did my nails exactly the way I'm use to them being done, the fill was applied properly, the polish was evenly painted, & after two weeks you couldn't even tell I needed a fill. The other two times I've gotten my nails done by other nail technicians I really wasn't impressed, she didn't remove all of the polish from my fingers and toes (I had to ask & she handed me a acetone soaked cotton ball), and she didn't apply the polish evenly. Would I go back to Rio Nails... Yep I sure would, only if the young lady with the back tattoo is available. Read Less

Started off kinda bad-tech I had was in a hurry and didn't do a very good job. When the owner heard about what happened to my nail she insisted on fixing it. As she saw the rest of my nails she completely redid the polish on my hands and feet- which turned out amazing!! Owners niece was here from RI- helped her quite a bit - she was so very nice!! They were so thankful that we came to visit their store while we were in town. Next time we are in Tulsa we will definitely be going back to see them!! Read Less

Worst I've had so far. I went in for shellac no manicure as I had one a week prior to coming in. He kept insisting on a manicure time after time, they were SUPER pushy on products and services that I did not want nor need, makes one uncomfortable after saying no so many times. The guy then started stating rude comments on my nails and laughing it off. I only went in because my regular salon was closed never had I been charged for removing my nail polish? Not only was the service bad but 2 entire nails came off two days after and 2 others chipped half way. When I called they said they don't guarantee their service unless you get a mani... (my regular ALWAYS guarantees regardless) they said I could go in anyway and they would redo those nails, that was 3 days ago and 2 of them already fell off last night. Neeeeveeeerrrrr going back!! Their staff really know how to take care of their customers and they actually listen when you're talking to them instead of ignoring you like most places do, I'm definitely coming back again and I'm going to tell everyone i know about this place. I was very happy with Rio Nails in special with Kelly. I went yesterday and found closed! They had gone! I tried to call to the number I have but anyone answers. I'm very sad because I lost the best manicurer I ever found in Tulsa and the best prize also.
