I visited Cali Pro Nails a couple of weeks ago, using a Christmas gift card to their salon my husband gave me. This was my first time there, and it was not the experience I was hoping for. I told the lady at the front specifically what color I wanted, and she informed me she would let the young lady who was to do my nails that evening that she would let her know. I wanted green matte solar nails. I had my nails done, and the young lady seemed nervous as she was doing my nails. She was friendly, however I don't think she had had much experience with doing solar nails on other people. I bled, my nail was crooked, and thickness of the nail was much thinner than I had ever experienced. Then she proceeded to paint my nails red, instead of green. I quickly showed her the picture and ask her if she was doing the nails that I had requested, and she said yes. Apparently there was a misunderstanding. She finished them as a red color, and although it was a nice color it was definitely not the color I had requested. She apologized, but the manager offered no compensation for their mistakes. Within one week of having my nails done, two of them broke because they were so brittle. I have been getting solar nails done for several years, and I've never had this experience before! i have tried most of the nail places in owasso and all of them have good people and bad people doing nails. i finally found a great girl names Cecilla that did my pedi and shelac nails at christmas time. she gives a great massage and is very very detailed. the owner is a sweet lady and will try to make anything right if you just talk to her. my suggestion is if you find somebody you really like keep note of their name and keep going to them. :) Read Less

Terrible!! I only gave them a star because it was required for a review... The first time I went here the guy was 20 minutes late and I was told he was late because he was out partying; once he got there he did my nails and used the wrong top coat. I had let my nails dry for 15 minutes or so and asks the girl if they were good, when she checked everything came off! I then spent another hour getting them done the right way. Today I have them a second chance. Once again awful!! They asked me to pay before my nails were done, I payed down the money and the girl asked where her tip was. I told her she could have one when my nails were done. She cut my fingers up incredibly bad! She didn't shape all of them and when I accidentally bumped one she refused to fix it! When I was fixing to leave she asked for a tip again. Appalled by her question and how she has handled my nails I told her no and she gave me and awful look. I do NOT recommend this place!! I am from owasso and when I lived there I went here all the time. I was recently in town and brought my two little nieces to get their nails done and I get a fill. I told them what color for one niece and what color for the other. One wanted purple and white and one wanted pink n white. One lady does my little niece and soaks her nails and then paints them and puts the wrong color. I did not notice till she was done that she did the wrong color. When I confronted my nail tech that the lady did the wrong color she spoke to the girl in some language and told me she already did it and basically it's too late so I let it slide because my niece was okay with it, then she called over to my niece  and I was thinking okay.... They're gonna make this right......NOPE! She was telling my other niece to come over and I asked okay are you talking to the one with blonde or brown hair, then she goes to say the "big one" at that time I was pissed!!! And to top it off she just painted her nails, didn't soak or nothing! And the nail tech who did my nails trimmed them to the shortest possible, didn't even ask how short I wanted to go and messed up on the shellac on my nails!So to end it all I paid the bill but I will NEVER go back here and if I go somewhere else I am going to another salon in owasso or I'll trek to Tulsa! When I go in, I only see Mary or Lee if Mary isn't in. This particular evening I went, neither techs were in. I usually would make an appointment for the next day but my nails were in desperate need of attention. I was sent to booth #10. First, the man didn't seem too thrilled that he suddenly had to work. Second, he looked at my outgrown nails and scoffed and let out the most exasperated sigh. He was really rude when he told that I needed to come in every 2-3 weeks and that he will fix my nails this time but they will have to be removed if I let them grow out this much again. I have acrylic over my real nail to make them thicker so I don't break my nails at work. I would not have minded him removing the last remaining remnants. Instead, he removed the polish then proceeded to clip away at the corners that were coming up.He was careless and sloppy with putting the new layer on. I had told him 3 times that I wanted white tips painted on instead of color but after washing my hands, he asked where my color was. I told him to just put a clear coat over the acrylic and that was it. I don't mind just the acrylic on my nails, it looks pretty natural actually. I wish he had taken off the old layer. This place used to be my fave but has gone downhill a LOT!  My chair was busted and when I asked the tech for something to put behind my back she actually rolled her eyes and said something in her language to her coworkers who all found it funny.  She never spoke the entire time except to ask for a tip!  Rude is not a strong enough word... Plus, the polish I had on when I came in was very dark and when I left, I noticed their were smears of it on the top of my foot.  Poor service all around. Read Less

I prefer to zone out, read magazines, and avoid chit chat when I get my nails done. And this place was great for that. I was visiting from out of town and Cali Pro was walking distance from my hotel. It's a clean place that accepted me on a walk-in basis, had good color selections (though not a lot of OPI colors). The nail tech was nice, professional and did a great job. They use yoga blocks to prop your leg up when they scrub your feet so you dot end up getting a cramp from holding your leg out for ten minutes. I would go again and you should too! Read Less
