Booked an appt. for my daughter and me for her birthday.  This was my 3rd time here and I love the place.  Why?  I don't worry about fungal infection.  Why?  They sterilize ALL metal tools for each use.  The pan that they use to soak, etc. is also cleaned before each use.  The other utensils are packed for you to take or thrown away.  The nail polish shelf is full enough to find a color you like, but not so full it has old polish.  I noticed that they clean each polish container before returning to the shelf.  They offered and we used a spray sanitizer before the manicure.  Good idea.  The atmosphere is kind and gentle. The music low and the lighting comfortable.  The decor is minimal and easy on the eye.  I would like a chair with a bit more back, but not a deal breaker.  If you pay attention as you walk in you will realize there is no "make my eyes water" chemical odor.  Awesome!  I bought the basic mani/pedi, but gave dear daughter (and mother of my only grandchild) the WORKS.  They buffed, massaged and wined her the whole time.  Did I forget to mention the free wine??  She was in heaven and her poor feet very happy.  They may send a thank you letter to Well!  I like they do not over push cuticles or over cut and scrape nails.   Kinder to all concerned.  My toes were happy as well.  The poor technician had to put up with my restless legs (damn things would not take pity on her or me) and the fact I am ticklish!  She deserved every bit of the tip!!!   We had been set up for a prior visit, but they called to say their power was out and offered us a discount the next time we came.   Their word was good!  I will never return to the $30 mani/pedi at the mall salons again!  My podiatrist agrees.  He actually recommended I not get a professional mani/pedi again, until I told him about Well.  I may take a few card and brochures to his office, next time I go. I went to Well Beauty back when they first opened for a pedicure, but I just hadn't gotten a chance to make it back. I went a little before Christmas for a holiday manicure and loved it. It is a little bit more expensive than your run of the mill nail salon, but the atmosphere is much more relaxing and my gel manicure from Alex is still going strong after almost two weeks. It usually starts to peel at about a week and a half when I go to other salons. I did notice their gel color selection is a bit slim, but they have all the classic colors you'd want. Since high school i'd been going to the nail salon by my house, but would always be rushed out or they would do a mediocre job on my nails! My boss and I had talked about trying out Well Beauty and one day I noticed on their instagram that they had a $25 flash gel mani! Maybe it was a sign, I had taken off my acrylic nails the night before and my nails were a mess. Chilapha did a stellar job and took her time and care on my nails. Really impressed by the customer service here. Two days after coming in, I noticed a bubble that had popped. The gel didn't cure like it should have so I called and was told I could come in and they would fix it for free. Everyone there is really sweet and I can't wait to come back! What a lovely, breathable space, staffed by the sweetest, welcoming staff! Jenna gets a special call-out. She is an absolute dear. No one appears hurried, and this definitely doesn't follow the "assembly line" model. You're there to be pampered, and it feels that way the moment you walk in until you leave. I'm often intimidated when I walk into a salon-type situation, which is ironic, considering I managed beauty salons in a former life. I'm just so removed from the culture. I have, however, never lost my spidey-sense when it comes to "those kinds of salons" - you know what I mean: trying too hard, a little too snooty in the "we can fix you" regard. None of that happening at Well Beauty. The interior is minimalist without being naked, and as I said, it's just ... breathable. And gorgeous. I love the predominately white space, with the NICEST staff you could ask for. Funny side note: I had a pedi once in China, and well, considering I spent my time on an island never putting real shoes on, let's just say my feet needed some serious TLC. I could hear the ladies doing my pedi (in the few words of Chinese I picked up, plus their tone) that they were like, "OH, GURL."Again, none of that business at Well. NONE. Also not happening at Well Beauty? That almost toxic chemical smell that permeates most places, especially those dealing w/ nails. I love this place and will definitely return. Great website -- I made my appointment online for a same-day pedicure. They even list time estimates for each service they offer. I also noticed that you can buy and print gift cards from their site, which makes gift-giving really easy. The salon itself is immaculate and modern. I loved that all the instruments come sealed in sterile pouches. I also like that the foot soaking bowls are removable, so you're not getting in one that's just been used by the previous person. They also give you your nail buffer and file at the end of the appointment. Everything is all-natural: the foot soak was dried rosemary, juniper berries, and epson salt, and the scrub was sugar, coconut oil and lavender. Everything smelled amazing -- plus there was no overwhelming nail polish/chemical smell that you sometimes get at nail salons. The absolute best part was that there was no upselling or pressure to upgrade/buy addons. Everyone who worked there was friendly and kind, the overall experience was relaxing and positive. Urged on by all the previous very positive reviews, I made my way down to this studio though it's about 20 minutes from where I live and I wouldn't generally go this far for a manicure. I had scheduled online and chosen the "Weller" gel manicure option, hoping the massage add-on would make it more of a spa/relaxation experience. The studio is very well decorated and has a very boho, Pinterest-y vibe which I love. The manicure itself was actually sub-par from my pretty extensive experience as a consumer. I really like it when they soak my fingers which they didn't do. Also, I think it's strange and let down when I'm given a sugar scrub and told to go to the bathroom at the back of the studio to scrub it on myself. Really? I could have paid $5 for a whole jar of sugar scrub and done it myself at home- I'm coming to you guys for the service! My cuticles were not pushed back much at all and looked overgrown within 3-4 days of the manicure. Also I had chipping occur on one nail within 24 hours! That just shouldn't happen- but there were edges of the gel that she just didn't paint correctly and easily came off. The biggest disappointment of all was the "massage". I couldn't believe I paid even just the $5 extra for this. She massaged each hand for 30 seconds maximum, no exaggeration. It was so sad!!!!! And I was the ONLY customer there the whole time I was in, so even though being rushed isn't an excuse, she definitely was not.Cute decor but if you're going for the more upscale nail spa experience, I think that you'd best go elsewhere! I used to settle for salons that had cheap pedicures, but the salons were dirty, poorly maintained, and the staff were sloppy or didn't speak English. I thought that it was worth it to get a pedicure for less than $30. Until I found Well Beauty! This place is clean, stylish, thoughtful, and reasonably priced. The salon has comfy arm chairs and herbal tub soaks for all pedicures. I must admit that the chairs could have a higher back or some neck support to make them more comfortable. The staff is always friendly and offers wine or water while you are thete. Great touch! You should always book an appointment. I recommend the Wellest pedicure which gets you a sand scrub, hot towel wrap, plus all the nail detailing you need. So relaxing! Read Less

This nail salon is a great hidden gem in the Plaza District. They offer green products without harsh chemicals which you can definitely tell when you walk in. There are no strong smells!! The staff are very friendly and professional! I was unable to make an appointment I thought I had scheduled for the "Summer Vibes" special and Jenna was so accommodating and let me come in the next day for the same special price. One week after getting my manicure here, half of my nails chipped.The studio is clean and appealing, however the power was out when I arrived which I was not told when I made the appointment. I chose the Wellest Manicure and Pedicure and was pretty disappointed.  Considering the power was out during half of my time there, they could not perform the entire pedicure and still charged me full price. The lady who did my nails was very nice and did a good job on the pedicure but I don't think it's worth the money I spent. After putting my nails under the dryer, they bubbled up and I showed the manager. She told me that they could "fix it for free" which I thought was obvious. Another staff member also said in front of me that someone mixed up the cuticle cream and the drying oil so that could be why. I should have been there for an hour and a half, but instead spent 3 1/2 hours. I was hesitant to write a review because the manager eventually gave me a 10% discount on my entire services, but then most of my nails chipped in a week's time. Clean high-end studio and maybe there were so many troubles because the power was out, but I feel like I should have been told that before arriving or told they couldn't perform the entire services for the full price. I scheduled an appointment for a mani/pedi on a Saturday afternoon and arrived a few minutes early. They let me know that they were preparing for me and asked that I pick a polish. A previous review mentioned that there was a "limited" number of polishes but I thought there was a good variety of colors and the one I picked out ended up being so pretty! I don't know about you but I hate having to pick from the massive wall of ancient polishes at those other places. I was really impressed by the fact that they use fresh foot sinks that they bring out to you while you're sitting on a super comfy chair relaxing with a glass of wine or sparkling water. My pedicure and manicure was very well done and I can't decide if the rosemary foot soak was my favorite or the minty scrub! I appreciated that all of their products were herbal and natural because it added to the relaxation factor. So to sum it all up....Is it more expensive than those other places? I decided to treat myself to a mani/pedi for my birthday month at Well Beauty with a friend. She scheduled our appointment, which is required, and we met on a rainy evening. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the staff member at the front desk knew who I was, based on the appointment, I'm sure. The polish selection is very limited, but I did find two colors that I couldn't choose from for my toes and an absolutely perfect pink for my nails. The pedicure was nice and relaxing, especially after a stressful day. THEN THEY OFFERED WINE. It was perfect. My pedicure took just over an hour and the nail technician was very thorough and provided a decent massage. After she painted my toes I realized I didn't like the color so she changed it without an issue. I'm pretty picky so it's not uncommon for me to get an eye roll or some form of attitude when I don't like a polish that has been applied. My manicure was also excellent then I pulled out unicorn nail stickers. I'm sure my tech probably thought I was crazy, but was very kind and indulged me. I have a sparkly unicorn and rainbow on two fingers and couldn't be happier. I will definitely return for a manicure, but I like a bit more intensity with my pedicure. Read Less

Pro tip: walk in and make an appointment, and then go eat at Aurora. Afterwards, come back to Well Beauty, full of delicious food and ready to totally relax. That's what I did on Friday, and I was a better, happier and nicer person as a result. Everyone who encountered me over the weekend was probably thankful I had treated myself to Well Beauty. I got a mani pedi, and splurged for the "Weller" option, with extra massage. I'm glad I did, because the massage was great and the lotion they used was even better. Just as they have paid wonderful attention to every detail of the decor, this was also the most precise mani/pedi I've ever received. Every step of the way, the tech was careful to get every stroke just perfect. The precision even extended to the way she cleaned the rim of the bottle with a little cotton pad before she put the lid on - it was an OCD person's dream. It was great to know I wasn't inhaling a ton of chemicals or acrylic dust. It was also of course nice to be in such a peaceful, relaxing setting with such care and thought put into every piece of furniture, every little touch. It is a stark contrast to the mess and chaos most of our everyday places have. The only think I would change: I would have liked to have been soaking my old gel mani off while I got my pedi. I reminded both the receptionist and my tech that I would need to soak, and maybe I should have been more pushy about doing it while I got my mani. In the end, it took an extra 15 minutes of my time and her time, and we could have avoided that. She asked if I would still like my massage, and I did. I wondered though if part of why she asked that is I had already been there for two hours including the soaking time, and I'm sure she was ready to take her next customer. But that is a small thing, and in the end, it gave me more time to sit in the calm space, listen to the book I was listening too and just enjoy some time on my own where no one needed me to do anything more taxing than pick a color. I'm torn about this review. I loved the lady who gave me a pedi; however, I am used to the typical nail spa and honestly, I prefer my favorite typical nail spa. This place is cute and trendy and clean and fresh but they don't have massage chairs or heated foot sinks. Also, it is quite a bit more expensive and you have to pay even more to get the foot and leg massage. Otherwise, the pedi itself is about the same. I could almost get two pedis at my favorite "typical" nail spa for one pedi here. If you want a unique and special experience, this place is for you. I probably won't be back. Read Less

I can't say enough great thinks about Well Beauty!! I called to make an appointment for me and my bridesmaids the Friday before my wedding. Since it was a large group they were able to reserve the entire salon so we had the place to ourselves! The only negative was since it was so many girls and it is a small boutique salon we weren't all able to get worked on at once, but the service made up for that negative! Since I was getting married I wanted to make sure they the color I wanted. They didn't have the shade that I was looking for so they so graciously offered to order it for me!! I'm not much of a girly girl when it comes to pampering myself. I'm the world's worst when it comes to treating myself, especially when I'm not on vacation. HOWEVER, I've found the perfect place I don't mind treating myself to from time to time because it's worth it! Why is that? Well Beauty is not just a typical nail salon. Their green beauty, low toxic materials make me feel like I'm actually taking care of myself.. not gaining beauty from pain. They don't lather your hands in fake fruity smelling lotion and oils, but natural relaxing lavenders and mint products that really moisturize well. You aren't choking on chemical smells while you try to enjoy your experience. The tunes are on point with either their relaxing sounds or fun power femme pop songs (I love whichever they are normally playing). They offer complimentary drinks; water, sparkling water, and wine. The studio and itself is inviting and inspiring. The location is awesome. It's women owned and operated! The prices are actually quite affordable, though you probably wouldn't expect that from a green centered nail salon. Also, the quality is amazing! Their normal polish (non-shellac) lasted over a week without chipping (including 3 of those days on a weekend Bachelorette trip to Miami!) I even trusted them with their shellac for my wedding day. I couldn't have been happier with my choice! The shellac didn't chip until day 15 (and 7 days were spent also on a beach).The only downside to Well Beauty is that they aren't always able to fit walk-ins in or large parties (at least last minute). But they are still growing and may soon be able to. The upside to that situation is that it makes me take quality time out for just myself or me and a close friend. Read Less

I have to say this is my favorite nail salon in Oklahoma City.The one thing I hate about nail salon it's a smell of acetone dislocation the moment you go in has no smell like that and it's because they use vegan products so most of their nail products don't have the formaldehyde or the acetone.The ladies here are super courteous and very very detail oriented. The price might be a little bit higher compared to your other nail salon but I feel like the quality of the product and the customer service is so great that the price is well suited.Another thing I like about this place is that you can book your pedicure or manicure online and that's really convenient in today's modern world.They use natural organic vegan friendly products and your skin comes out glowing and feeling fresh.This is my second time but it sure won't be my last! I was looking around for a good salon for a wedding and found this wonderful place! Now I don't usually get my nails done due to my busy and nail-chipping conducive lifestyle but for special events I like to treat myself.I decided to go with the weller combo + shellac on the manicure and I'm very pleased! The whole time I was there, about and hour and a half, there was only ever one other guest/patron in the place, which for a Saturday was quite relaxing!Their minimalist approach and "green" products made it much more pleasant than your average chemical-filled and crowded salon.That being said, because they avoid the chemicals you only get the option for regular polish or shellac. Sadly, my cheap nail salon and I are on a trial separation because a newer and hotter salon came to town. And like most newer and hotter things, she's pricier. Well Beauty is so fantastic because it's not in Nichols Hills or Edmond, who would normally get the newer and hotter spot. Well is in the Plaza District, a stone's throw away from awesome indie shops and restaurants like Empire and The Mule.  Well is also fantastic because they use safe products and provide a Treat Yoself type of experience. Yes, you're paying more but for a higher quality service. What sold me is their accent nail work. I asked for something fun and my manicurist gave me a lot of options. I highly suggest this place for a special occasion or a relaxing day with girlfriends. They offer up mimosas and sparkling water. Really cool new concept in the Plaza District. It's a very minimalistic approach that you often see when your travel. Gorgeous space with big cozy chairs and gold lamps. They use natural products and most are cruelty-free. I got the Wellest Pedicure and was given a glass of wine while my feet were pampered.
