This is a great tanning salon. I try to tan a little before I go on a sunny vacation, so I have a good base and can enjoy the rays. Lumen is super clean, friendly and well-maintained. I have been to other tanning salons in OKC that consistently had missing or burned out bulbs in the tanning beds. I've also seen salons where the bulbs were not replaced at the same time and were therefore very uneven. I have never seen any of these problems at Lumen. This place is great! Read Less

I am going to Cabo in a few weeks and wanted to establish a base tan before being on the beach for hours at a time. I saw Lumen on Yelp and read about the options they have. I called and the staff was super friendly and did a great job explaining the different lumen (minutes) options. When I arrived I received a tour, an explanation of the different beds, and a tanning evaluation sheet that determined how likely I was to burn and where I should start to avoid looking like a lobster. Overall the experience was great and the pricing seemed fair. I love that there was no pressure to sign a contract and they didn't try to upsell me on things. Best tanning salon I've ever been to! All the girls are super sweet and wonderful! Prices are great and the salon is clean and they have the cutest clothes! The owner was very nice as well. The girls answer any questions you have! Over all a great experience!! Read Less

Overall, my experience here has been positive.   The salon is nice and the pricing is fair.  Most of the girls that work there are great.   One  Friday evening recently I went in after work to grab a quick tan on the way home.   It is a nice way to relax between work and home.   The girl working was talking to a friend on FaceTime when I went in.   She paused her conversation long enough to get me set up.   Once I was on the room she continued her conversation with her friend basically the whole time I was there.   A relaxing break became awkward and annoying.   It felt like being held hostage to her personal life.   When I left I told her that my time had not been relaxing because of her phone call.   She just laughed.  I called the owner the next day to discuss the situation.   10 days later she has not bothered to return my call.   I guess she does not worry about retaining clients.   I will not be back. There were several beds to choose from as well as several packages. I'm not much of a tanner so I choose a plan that gave me a certain number of minutes that I can use in the quantity I want. I liked that you could buy minutes not tans as I may only use about 6 minutes in a tan and only go a few times a year. The staff was also kind a courteous. Read Less

The BEST spray tan machine with many options - i.e. Less intense tan if you are fair skinned like me with option to have it go on clear or with a bronzer than shows up instantly if you waited until the last minute! Convenient hours, friendly staff and no line. Here's to hoping this stays my secret...but I doubt it will. Read Less
