I had a good experience here with Tony on my first visit. Because of that, I sent my daughter here. She asked for a shellac manicure and the gentleman at the desk said, "are you sure you don't want powder, it's only $5 more". Based on this, she (and myself when she told me) expected to get a powder MANICURE for the additional $5. NOPE!!! That was JUST FOR THE POWDER which she hated and it was crooked on her thumb nail. I'm really disappointed and feel she was very misled. I won't be going back even though my experience was good because I don't feel like what happened to her is fair nor do I feel as if this issue (when we called the store) was handled as well as it should have been. if i could give royalty 10 stars i would, i love Jessica and Stephen and everyone else that works at royalty. they are always so nice and flexible about appointment times. i always get compliments on my nails and they always do exactly what i ask for. they have wide range of colors and are always very patient and helpful when i can't decide which color to choose! would 110% recommend royalty nails to anyone who wants the BEST/cutest/most stylish nails. thank you guys!! I foolishly dropped my 15 year old off with her friends giving her a 30 dollar budget. My youngest daughter wasn’t feeling great so I left to pick up the kiddos in an hour. For some reason my kiddo thought that getting extra designs wouldn’t be extra money. When I came to pick up her and her friend, they were both shocked that their nails cost 60 and 70 dollars. They got all the extra bells and whistles. Although I was absolutely willing to pay they still offered my kiddo and her friend a 10% discount, when honestly it was the kids fault for not understanding that extra stuff costs extra money. Me & a friend went here for a dip they charged me $5 extra to trim my cuticles which no other place I've used has ever done. The guy that worked on me was coughing & sneezing into his shirt it was so gross. He also picked at my thumb skin for so long I literally asked if he was getting a splinter out- it was nowhere near my nail or cuticles where he was pulling skin off until it bled. What the hell!I got red dip & my fingers were dyed red down to my knuckles- they told me to wash tomorrow. 8 days later I have 2 chipped nails when they last 3 weeks at the least any other time I've dipped!! My experience was okay. The man who did my nails, Andy, did them well, but he kept making fun of my nails and the girl next to me because we are nail biters. I understand it’s harder to do my nails because they are bitten down so short, but he was very rude about it. He would dramatically drop the tips on to the table. He was pushing down very hard into my cuticles. He also kept coughing and at one point spit on my hand a little. I probably would’ve left if he hadn’t already glued the tips down. This place is very inconsistent. Sometimes they are average and sometimes they are horrible. The last manicure I had was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. During the pedicure, they set a timer that ticked the whole time and was clearly rushed. It was far from relaxing and the polish job was only average. The manicure was horrible. I got dip, I asked her to trim my cuticles which is an extra charge. Instead of soaking my nails and doing it properly, she trimmed them dry, they looked almost worse now. She left many hang nails.. When i told her to go back and fix it, she acted very annoyed. When she started using the drill, she made me bleed 3 different times and blamed it on me for asking to trim my cuticles. She did a horrible dip job, and totally changed the shape of my nails which also hurt. She told me to then wash my hands, when I came back all of my stuff was gone and someone was sitting in my seat. She told me she would finish the manicure standing up!!! My nails literally started chipping the next day! I went back for them to fix them, and the lady did not even soak them off, she drilled them down and then put more dip right on top. My nails are now peeling off in sheets and breaking off. I've tried so hard to like this place and make it my salon but to no avail.  Every time I go in they are short and rude, poor communication, pricing varies by employee and they won't honor my wish to not have a drill used on my nails. I see them be nice to other people but I just haven't experienced it.   The work is good but not the friendliness.  There are too many nail salons in town to put up with the rudeness!! Read Less

We use a different salon but my friend raved so much about this one that my 16 y/o daughter went here to get her nails gel polished.  The worker tried to brow beat her into upgrading to a manicure; each time getting progressively more rough with my daughters nails.  By the time my daughter left she was nearly in tears.... Visited for the first time for a pedicure, shellac nails and eyebrow wax. The tech did ok on my pedi but did not do a good job on my nails and she forgot to give me the eyebrow wax...i didn't remind her either because I was dissatisfied with my nails and there was no way I would let her touch my face. Sitting in Royalty nails now in pain. The nail tech tore me up. Took all of 15 min to do a pedicure and physically hurt me. The third time I complained she said I had an ingrown toenail and then asked me if it felt better. It never hurt in the first place began scraping my toes and then she would scrape the instruments over the top of my foot to clean them off. I asked her to stop and she got a major attitude. I went for a manicure with shellac. The lady that did my nails rushed through the manicure so fast she didn't even get all of my cuticles cut, nor did she even push my cuticles back. She did not want to conversate. And the over all experience sucked. I will never go here again. Read Less

Royalty Nail and Spa is the place to go in Norman to get your nails done. I have been to a few other ones here and they don't stand a chance against royalty. First off, everyone here is super sweet. Second is, it's really really CLEAN, clean is a big deal to me. And lastly, there work is amazing and they care about how it looks. They don't want you walking out the door with horrible nails.
