I've been going to this nail place for nearly two years. I always make an appointment so I can get the manicurist I like. So, recently I called to make an appointment and said I could come either Saturday/Sunday, if they would tell me what time, I'd be there. The person who answered the phone, "Twee", who I guess is the new owner(?) said, "No, tell me what time you want to come". So I said 9:30. She interrupted me and said "You can't come then". So I said "10:00". She AGAIN interrupted me and said "You can't come then". I then said "That's why I asked you to tell me what time the manicurist is available. Only then did she tell me what time my appointment could be..... Anyway, I get to my appointment and I'm told that they are running behind and I'm told my appointment will now be later than what I scheduled. Finally, 25 minutes after I should have been getting my manicure, Twee starts on my nails. My regular person is STILL with the person before me. When she finally takes over, she gets in a big hurry and I come out with crooked nails and one has a spot of blue polish on it from the last customer. I KNOW she saw it, but didn't offer to fix it, instead offered $5 off the manicure. Well, yeah! since she didn't do most of it anyway! Also, I've always left her a nice tip, but this time, I took the $5 discount, and no tip. A service like this shouldn't be so incredibly difficult. I'll find somewhere else to go - after all, I was looking for a place when I found that one. (As a side note, I have been wondering why there's been such a huge turnover in the staff there.... and now I think I know. Also - Amanda W is right, they don't clean their tools appropriately.
